Yes, you can have too big of a throttle body. If the throttle body is too big, it can cause the engine to run lean, which can lead to engine damage.
Carb spacers are one of the most popular aftermarket add-ons for carbureted vehicles. They are simple to install and usually don't require any vehicle modifications. Carb spacers can improve performance by increasing airflow and improving fuel atomization. They can also help to improve fuel economy.
There is no definitive answer to this question as it seems to depend on the individual. Some people report feeling a decrease in performance when using spacers, while others find that they perform just as well with or without them. Ultimately, it is up to the individual to experiment with spacers and see what works best for them.
Spacers are used to improve the ride quality of a vehicle by providing a smooth, stable surface for the tires to roll over. They also help to reduce road noise and vibration.

I bought this to replace the standard one on my 1999 Honda Prelude because it had a busted coolant fitting. This item is simple to add on and performs nicely. The screws want to rattle out, so make sure you use lock-tight on them. The car can occasionally stall at idle because too much fuel is being introduced and the constrictive factory intake manifold does not flow as much air when the engine is at idle. These are the only problems I am encountering. I am still using a stock intake manifold. The automobile enjoys it when it is traveling at high RPMs.

Had a similar one on my car, but the throttle plate screw threads were damaged by the prior owner. bought this to take its place. Direct bolt on with all required hardware! Plug and play, but you'll need to switch out your map sensor and tps. Just keep in mind to modify your tps and perform an idle relearn after tinkering with the TB. Totally adore it!

A piece of aluminum with notches in it was definitely pricey. I'm not sure if it actually works as described; I installed a 2013 F150 3.5L ecoboost. I also installed an AFE stage 2 Cold air intake and a turbosmart supersonic BOV at the same time, so I can't say for sure if the spacer actually helped or was only effective with the intake and blowoff valve. I immediately noticed improvements in the turbo's spooling time, throttle responsiveness, acceleration, horsepower, and mpg (2-3 in the city and 3-5 on the highway). I'll see significant HP gains after I install an AFE cat-back exhaust and an SCT Livewire programmer; I might have trouble keeping this highway beast on the road then!

I love the spacer and use it on my Dodge Challenger R/T Manual.PROS: Experience improved response during low end torque and between shifts. Additionally, my drive is crisper, and power seems to be readily available. This was a problem since I had a manual transmission and would occasionally be in the incorrect gear but wanted power and was in the range of too much and too low rpm.Whistle - The whistle has a wonderful tone. On my Challenger SXT V6 it had this product (diff model #), and it whistled exclusively at low end torque. The 350-532 whistles rather frequently in any gear after 2.5 rpm on my R/T V8. This is not a bothersome sound because you seldom ever hear it unless your windows are down or you're going at low torque. The whistle undoubtedly attracts attention and sparks curiosity. Although it doesn't precisely sound like NOS or a turbo blow out, people are aware that something is occurring under the hood.Gas mileage: After two months of testing and resetting my PCM after installation, my gas mileage increased by two MPG.CONS: Perhaps you won't enjoy the whistle? Although some people make the comparison, it doesn't sound anything like terrible breaks. It simply sounds like air blowing out, and taking off with it is enjoyable.Thought for the Day: This is one of those goods that everyone dismisses as placebos or snake oil and never even tries. Many people, however, are prejudiced and have not tried this. How can improved airflow and reduced turbulence not lead to increased performance? You can return it to Amazon or Airaid and obtain a full refund if it doesn't fulfill its promises. Just like that. One crucial installation advice is to reset your PCM; to do this, either remove the fuse for it for 15 seconds or unplug the battery for an hour; otherwise, the fuel-to-air ratio won't change.

My 1999 F-150's installation of the improved throttle response required a workaround and tweaks. Because it is in a different place and has a greater diameter, the linkage opens the throttle somewhat. The completed surfaces of the casting include extensive pitting and swirl marks from a milling machine, which should have been noted by quality control. Casting quality needs to be improved. After reviewing a number of reviews and inquiries concerning this product, I'll address a few typical inquiries. A larger throttle body won't add much measured horsepower or torque; it will merely increase an engine's throttle response. When someone says, "I can feel the power," they merely mean that the throttle response has increased. It is advised to only utilize a larger throttle body in conjunction with performance intake and exhaust systems (pipes or manifolds); otherwise, it is physically impossible to enhance engine air flow.

Spacers are used to space out the wheels on a car, and they can make your car slower. The reason for this is that they add weight to the car, and they can also make the car less aerodynamic. If you're looking to improve your car's performance, then you should avoid using spacers.
Throttle body spacers can help increase gas mileage by allowing the engine to breathe more easily. This in turn can lead to better fuel economy. While there is no concrete evidence that throttle body spacers increase gas mileage, many car enthusiasts believe that they can be beneficial.
No, throttle body spacers do not need a tune.
A throttle body spacer does not add HP.
No, a throttle body spacer does not change sound.
A tuner is a device that can be used to change the settings of an engine in order to increase its performance. One of the things that a tuner can do is to increase throttle response. This means that the engine will be able to respond more quickly to the accelerator being pressed, which can lead to a significant increase in power.
