It's not recommended to put bleach in your grey water tank as it can damage the septic system.
You can drive an RV with the black tank full, but it is not recommended. The black tank is where the sewage is stored and if it is full, the sewage can leak out and cause a mess.
You should not dump RV grey water on the ground as it can contaminate the soil and groundwater. Instead, you should discharge it into a sanitary sewer system or an approved holding tank.
Yes, you can leave your grey and black water tanks open. This will allow your tanks to air out and prevent odors from building up.

THETFORD 40540 KIT,TERM ADAPTOR 3IN DOUBLE PIN

I'm really grateful that they produce this item. This is what I have to use for my "blue boy," or travel-sized disposable waste toter. This is necessary since my short tank hose has two female couplers on either end, making it impossible for me to use my 90-degree elbow to connect to the RV dump. When dumping, the transparent elbow helps hold the hose in place. I haven't had a waste accident and, if I can avoid it, I won't either. This is effective. I urge you to do so if you experience this problem.

Oh terrible, I'll have to replace the entire cover if I don't want to leave the tank exposed, I thought as the cap came off my LP tank on my trailer. However, Amazon delivered with this great replacement from Camco. It seemed to be created to fit there, which it probably was. Although the hardware that came with it was great, I didn't use it.

Anyone who has ever rinsed a sewer hose with the contents splashing back will understand the usefulness of this device. The unpleasant task of cleaning dirt out of a sewer line before storing it is made a little bit less unpleasant by snapping on the "sending" end of the sewer hose and connecting it to a typical garden hose.My rinser's built-in valve and hose connection performed beautifully with no leaks. Everyone who owns an RV can gain from this.

appears to work However, while receiving therapy, it releases this strange odor. Only when you leave your RV for a while and return is it obvious; once you get used to it, it quickly becomes unnoticeable. Although I adore Thetford goods, the fragrance prevented me from giving it five ratings. Thankfully, was gone after dumping. It may be worse, but at least it seems to get rid of that offensive old grease smell.

The propane tank cover I received is in perfect condition, and it was properly packaged. Use a bungee or elastic strap to hold the bottom down and tighten the nuts on the screws holding the sides together. The LP gas lines in our camper were severely fractured due to sun exposure, and it did not come with a cover. The color of the camper looks better in black. This is, as far as I can tell, CAMCO's most recent 20-pound tank cover (only 20 pounds, too tiny for a 30 pound tank). I've included images of the installed cover as well as the strap I used on the bottom (15-inch rubber strap; removed one of the hooks; used a 1/4-inch stainless steel screw; two flat washers; and a lock nut to attach in one of the holes.

I just got this tank. It appears to be quite strong and thick. I haven't installed it yet, but I can't wait to switch from a grey water tank of 10 GAL to one of 32 GAL. Sensor probes are not included with the tank, and a 3" hose fits perfectly inside the outflow. Additionally, the photo in the description is accurate and it does not contain pre-drilled holes for future reference.

This was our obvious purchase. You already understand why if you're looking at it. Although we have used it for black water as well, we mainly use it for gray water. Everything you need is provided, including the cleaning hose, clamp, adaptor, and hose. For the part that does not connect to your RV, I would suggest a 90° adaptor. They don't send one, and if you know what I mean, the naked hose end may be messy. This is solved by a 90° end. They give you a hose that is around 3 feet long.Remember that this has a 32 gallon capacity. By almost 8 pounds per gallon, it is clear that this is incredibly heavy when filled. The first time I filled it, I had it lying flat. After hanging it on the hitch to be towed to the dump station, I almost died. After that, I continued to keep it attached to the truck as I filled and emptied it. When the water stops coming out, it has emptied sufficiently and is a reasonable weight to stand on end.So far, the wheels and tow bracket have performed admirably. I did adhere to the advice to move slowly to prevent injury. A damaged Tote-N-Stor is the last thing I need as I travel to the disposal station!
Yes, you can put bleach in a black holding tank, but you need to be careful about how much you use. Too much bleach can damage the tank and your RV.
If you have a dishwashing liquid like Dawn in your RV black tank, it can help break down waste and make it easier to flush out when you're ready to dump. Just be sure to use a small amount so you don't end up with suds in your tank.
If you are referring to a recreational vehicle, then the answer is that the shower water goes into the grey tank. The black tank is for waste water from the toilet and sink.
If you are RVing, you probably already know that you need to be very conscious about what goes into your black tank. That's because, unlike your gray tank, the black tank is where your sewage is stored. And, unlike your gray water, which is relatively clean, your sewage is, well, not so clean. So, it's important to make sure that only sewage and toilet paper go into your black tank. With that said, you might be wondering if shower water goes into the black tank. The answer is no. Your shower water goes into your gray
Shower water typically goes into the black tank on an RV. The black tank is the holding tank for water that has been used in the RV, such as shower water, sink water, and toilet water. The grey tank is the holding tank for water that has not been used, such as fresh water from a hose or faucet.
No, the grey tank does not drain into the black tank. The grey tank stores water from the shower and sink, while the black tank stores water from the toilet.
