they were purchased after reading an article. I used to use lead strips or fishing lures, but I always worried that I would acquire lead dust on my hands. These are outstanding. They come off and remain attached to the model's bottom. You need to use a couple of them because they are 1/4 size, but they sit low on the model and don't cause shimmy problems like a tall sink weight would. adore them

These weights are respectable. Possibly a little stickier. You should particularly make sure the region is buffed clean and that the wheel is warm when working with older wheels where some of the clear finish has removed. They won't stick if you try to apply them cold. They seem to function normally aside from that. Good value for the money spent. I only rated it four stars because I had a few weights that wouldn't stick right out of the box. It's not a big deal, but balancing wheels all day may get tiresome.

So I stuck these on the bottom of a cat's water bowl. She appears to believe that in order to drink from the bowl, she must claw at it, drag it across the floor, and spill all of its contents. Now that I pooped on her party and rendered the bowl too heavy to move, she can no longer move the bowl (the rubber non-skid on the bottom grabs the floor very well now). I have a hard time moving that bowl too, funny. Simply put, that is a job well done. Long story short, they did exactly what I needed them to accomplish!

My approach was quite unusual. These were ideal because I needed to add weight to my collection of arcade sticks (2x Hori RAP 4, 2x Hori MvC3, 2x Mad Catz SFxTekken). There are 18 strips altogether, and each strip adds 1 pound to the total weight. For each stick, I added 3–4 strips (11–16 pieces). This significantly improved their stability. To increase the weight to the level I thought was appropriate, it cost me $6 per stick. The glue is really sticky. It's really tough to peel them off once you've inserted them, so be sure where you want to put them. I've never been happier. The 0.25oz per piece that is sold here is a far better purchase. I still need to add weight to 4 more arcade sticks, so I will be purchasing another set.
