Cost more than local, but new is always great. Functions like it should. The metal had a higher level of polish than the local goods. On these pins, be sure to use ceramic caliper grease. My old pins never received any lubrication, which damaged the rotors and led to serious braking problems. To bring the pedal up where it belonged and to make it less mushy, I had to pump it. It appeared as though there was air in the system, but it was simply sticking the caliper pins.

Well, I'm sorry. Because it's brass and SOFT, you need to be careful when torqueing it. Put it in and assumed everything would be fine, but it wasn't tight enough, and a lot of coolant leaked out while we were driving. When it was further tightened, it appeared okay. I took a look at it today and saw some coolant around the base. It snapped off as I tried to tighten it just a little bit more. Oh, I did swear. A lot. To try to get it out, I had to order Easy Outs. Tomorrow they arrive, so we'll see. I'll update once it's available (I hope).

I took a chance and ordered the caps nevertheless, hoping that I would receive the 4 bleeder caps, even though the product AD does not state that there are in fact 4 bleeder caps included in the box. Okay, I got them. Just to be clear, Seller should make this clear in its AD. When you buy the entire replacement units, the bleeders are ordinary rubber ones that match my expectations because they are comparable to or on par with those found in regular brake kits.

Brake bleeders need to be on top of the caliper in order to work properly. If they are not on top of the caliper, they will not be able to bleed the brakes properly and could cause the brakes to fail.
The bleed valve on a radiator is used to release air from the radiator. The radiator must be bled of air when the system is first filled with coolant, and whenever air has entered the system. The bleed valve is usually located at the top of the radiator, but on some radiators it is located at the bottom.
If your car has a leaky bleeder screw, you can try to fix it by tightening the screw or replacing the gasket. If the screw is stripped, you may need to replace it.
