Had a mechanic friend install it, and he had nothing but praise for the design's quality and simplicity of installation. He praised its sturdy construction, clear instructions, and flawless fit. Images of the stock lights before and after this were installed. Much better than a much more costly one I had on an earlier cycle in terms of quality, pricing, and overall appearance.

The issue is in order. The servo cover is very tight, made of plastic, and it breaks quite easily, therefore the how-to video is a little unrealistic. When mine broke, I took it to Honda, who will install the bracket and replace the cover for $249. This became a really explosive situation. If yours is still covered by warranty, as mine is even though it just has 205 miles on it and is currently in the shop, Cycle Shack North in Conroe, Texas, claims this happens frequently. If I had let them damage it, Honda would have taken my position, but since I'm the unfortunate one, I had to learn the hard way. Avoid taking a chance and have a dealer handle it because there are variances coming out of the Honda facility.

I searched Amazon for a few different models since I needed something that would retain the stock turn signal and license light. At first, I ignored this one when I saw it. That was erroneous.bought a fender eliminator from another brand, thinking it was the best. Nope. Aluminum was cast into it. Even though it was packaged in a bubble mailer, the cast metal shattered during transit. However, given the vibration from the motor and the road, I seriously doubt it would last very long.The fender eliminator from DMP is constructed of solid steel. I don't mind that it is a little heavier than the cast aluminum one I bought. This seems to withstand abuse much better than any other options available.Buy this one if you're going to buy one. Why pay more for cast aluminum when machined steel is available for less?

First off, this item is of good quality. I'm not sure how they're able to sell it for this amount.It has the same quality as products that cost three times as much. Perfect fit and simple installation. Those who complain that there are no instructions are genuinely mechanically challenged. Anyone with a basic understanding of mechanics should have no trouble installing this in less than 40 minutes. If you purchase aftermarket turn signals, you can save yourself half that time because it will take the longest to disassemble the stock fender system in order to remove the stock signals and plate light. The time spent on this mod will be worthwhile. Don't waste your money on the other models; instead, purchase this one and use the money you save on gas. Finally, the finish on mine was flawless and felt robust.

great acquisition enhances the bike's humorous appearance as needed.There are two reasons why I only awarded 4 stars: first, the instructions appear to have been printed at home on a printer that was out of ink. I wouldn't have been able to use the instructions to figure it out if there wasn't another firm that produces a product like this.The two anchor bolts holding the cover plate to the underside of the break light stick out like a sore thumb in point number two. If the bolts were built into the plate and the thread bolts were hidden by the seat, this would look much nicer. At the very least, paint the nuts and bolts the same color as the plate.If the two rubber grommets/plugs on the back of the plate mount are not installed, the license plate will vibrate loudly. Having said that, I would buy this product again.

Once completed, this sleek tail kit has a fantastic appearance. Having said that, it doesn't come with any instructions. So let me quickly go over how to install it and attach the license bracket. Take the back seat out (or cowl). From the four corners under your seat, remove the four hex screws. Only the four pieces under the seat must be removed from the OEM tail assembly. Alcohol should be used to clean the area underneath your tail lights where the kit will be placed. Make sure the wires are correctly positioned before attaching them to the tidy tail assembly. Place the kit where it will go after removing the protective film from the adhesive backing. By inserting the provided bolt through the grommet hole in the middle of your storage space, washer, and locking nut, you may fasten it to the tail. Be careful not to harm any other wires when tightening the lock nut because some other wires also use this. An L-shaped bracket matches the bracket for the license plate. Use the original hex screws that came with the plate and bracket to secure them if you intend to keep the passenger pegs on your bike. Use the supplied screws if you have removed the pegs. If you run into trouble installing this, there is a video on YouTube that can help. Overall though, it's not that difficult. The lengthy bolt, your wiring, and inserting the license bracket between your pegs and the back of your bike should all be done with caution.

This suited fairly well on my 2007 Yamaha R6, with some benefits and disadvantages:Overall fitment was good and installation was simple. The picture was different from what I had ordered, but it still functioned. The plate is small and discreet and appears to be floating.Cons: Did not include any bolts or nuts; have to purchase them separately. License plate bends, but not significantly.
