Red Hound Auto Oil Dipstick and Funnel Tube Set Compatible with VW Volkswagen (Jetta Beetle 1999-2005 and 1999-2006 Golf) 2.0L Engines Review:

Perfectly suited my 2002 Jetta 2.0 GLS. The factory-made plastic is also inexpensive. Simple fit; no problems. If it had been better than OEM quality, I would have rated it five stars. It's a great deal for the price with free shipping. You can just straighten it out after receiving it in a somewhat "C-shaped" padded envelope. It took me about 4 minutes to change it, but be careful not to drop any pieces of the previous one down the tube because doing so will cause them to shatter or dissolve.

Purchased as a replacement for my 1.8T-powered 2001 Audi TT. While removing the thermostat housing, I unintentionally snapped the original. With the exception of extra orange, this one is identical to the original. My original had severely stiffened and faded. At first, installation looked like real paint. It wouldn't snap on despite my repeated pushing and pushing and pushing. Then I had the idea to slightly warm it up to make the plastic more malleable. I warmed the dipstick tube's end with my wife's hair drier. neither too hot to touch nor hot enough to melt it. Just enough to increase its malleability Then it just needed a thin layer of engine oil to snap on. Easy. incredibly simple. So go ahead. It's a good part; it's far less expensive than the original, and installation is simple once you figure out the technique.

CTA Tools 1017 Chrysler Transmission Dipstick Review:

Let's start out by asking, "Really? All the haters moaning about the size of the markings?" It's not as big as a pencil; what size do you want? and employment? For the price, this gadget is AMAZING. I have worked as a factory train technician for 35 years. Need anything that might be better or simpler to read? Try the genuine factory tool for three to four times the price. That's all I have to say about it.

MTC 4687 / 06J-115-611E Engine Oil Dipstick (06J-115-611E MTC 4687 for Audi/Volkswagen Models) Review:

I have no faith in "the cloud." alternatively, timely meal delivery. perhaps local electricity. or liquid. Or oil change quick stops. Or the 2018 Porsche Macan of my wife's has an electronic oil level.Recently purchased one of these dipsticks for the 2.0 turbo Porsche Macan. The oil level on this dipstick matches the computerized oil level indicator in the dashboard menu exactly, and it suits the vehicle properly. I can finally trust the electronic oil level indicator to some extent now. Additionally, it eliminates the need to insert one of the tubes from the oil extraction pump when checking the color or cleanliness of the oil on occasion.I don't intend to leave this dipstick in the engine, so I don't know if the hood shuts on it when it is placed. will continue replacing the stock plug even after the dipstick has been removed.

It performs flawlessly when used as intended. You stop sliding it once it contacts the bottom pan. For the person (Brian) who gave it a 1-star review on November 30, 2018, and indicated it has a design problem, it was the user who had the flaw. He mistakenly believed that the dipstick extended all the way to the handle. He pushed it all the way to the handle by doing this. This A/T Dipstick Gauge is going to be lengthy for some vehicles because it covers 32 distinct makes and models and a large range of years, engines, and transmission types. When you are through checking the fluid level, remove it until you wish to check the A/T fluid level again.

Justin here, and I ordered this for my 1.8 turbo 2002 Audi A4 Quattro. It didn't fit perfectly, but I eventually discovered a rubber hose that was wrapped around the dipstick housing on my car. I removed the hose, which was 4 inches long and 1'1/2 round, and inserted the dipstick tube; presto! It was a great attachment that I would recommend to everyone.

Dorman 917-366 Engine Oil Dipstick Review:

On my 2001 Jeep XJ Cherokee, I used this. The stock dipstick matches the gradient markers. The handle is comparable, but because the metal is a little bit thinner than factory, inserting it might be a little bit simpler. Although not as lovely as factory made, it will work and the price is reasonable. This dipstick is also simple for me to read.

04593604AA Engine Oil Level Dipstick For 2008-2010 Chrysler Town and Country, 07-08 Chrysler Pacifica, 07-11 Dodge Nitro Grand Caravan 4.0L Replace # 4593604AA - Fluid Level Indicator Oil Dip Stick Review:

My 2007 Pacifica 4.0L's original looks identical to this one. The dip stick feels slightly loose when fully put in the tube, suggesting that the top plastic portion and integral o-ring may be slightly small. It doesn't appear to leak oil or move during routine use, so it might just be in my head how the original dipstick fit in relation to this one.

MTC 4686 / 06E-115-611H Engine Oil Dipstick (06E-115-611H MTC 4686 for Audi/Volkswagen Models) Review:

Great pricing and a great product. I don't get why Audi didn't include a dipstick in a $60k car, especially because my MMI periodically refuses to read or provides an accurate volumetric reading, but whatever. This device is beneficial if you have an anal or simply want to precisely check your oil (as you certainly should). As I'm not sure if it is a perfect fit, I personally don't leave this in constantly. Instead, I leave Audi's "Plug" in and usually keep this in the garage or trunk.
