If you’re looking for a way to boost your car’s performance, you may be wondering if a cat back exhaust is worth the investment. While there are many factors to consider, overall, a cat back exhaust can provide a number of benefits, including increased power, improved fuel economy, and a deeper, more aggressive sound. If you’re looking for a power boost, a cat back exhaust can definitely deliver. By improving airflow and reducing back pressure, a cat back exhaust can add a few extra horsepower to your ride. And if you’re
Do axle backs have mufflers? Most axle backs do not have mufflers. The purpose of an axle back is to improve the flow of exhaust gases from the engine. This improved flow can increase horsepower and fuel economy.
There is no scientific evidence to support the claim that cat back exhaust systems increase gas mileage. In fact, most aftermarket exhaust systems are designed to increase performance, not fuel efficiency. While a well-designed exhaust system can improve engine efficiency, it’s unlikely to have a significant impact on gas mileage.
A catalytic converter is not required for a cat back exhaust, but it is recommended. The catalytic converter helps to reduce emissions and improve fuel economy.

So far, so good; I appreciate the muffler's design and the fine tips. Very robust, and the sound is excellent. I switched from my Magnaflow because there was so much drone that it was impossible to hear. With these Gibson mufflers, there is now little to no drone, and the sound is fantastic. It's the perfect volume—not too loud, not too soft. Low-pitched rumble, you touch it, and it awakens. Clamps are included to secure the pipe. The only inexpensive item in the box is that; I didn't care for them. I welded them in because I had a wire feed. In my view, if you purchase this, you won't regret it. If you decide to clamp rather than weld, purchase a solid set of clamps to go with this arrangement.

This provides me with exactly the tone I wanted! Exceptional quality and excellent value. These are what I put on my 2012 5.7L. Don't pay any attention to the measurements or cut lines on the instructions that are given! Determine where to make your own cuts!I'll be obtaining a little longer hanger tomorrow because the rubber hanger on the driver's side doesn't fit well and pulls the tip firmly against the bottom valence. The passenger side fit comfortably on both hangers.Even when the MDS has cut in, I haven't seen any drones so far.

I completed the replacement of the factory axle backs in 90 minutes by taking my time and using simply a jack and jackstands. They were quite comfortable to wear, and it was simple to even out the tips. Installation took little time at all; in fact, removing the rusted stock exhaust took just as long as setting up the new ones. Although they are throatier, louder, and deeper than stock, they are not quite as loud as I had hoped. I've heard that removing the cats and doing headers will make the music "too loud." Simply put, I'm going to leave things alone. It's convenient to be able to leave my garage after hours without disturbing the neighbors or constantly getting stopped. Since nothing was harmed or cut during the removal, switching back to the factory exhaust would be quite simple.

I purchased this item for my 2006 Corvette Convertible a few years ago. It was nearly tough to find these at the time, but SLP had them on back order. The fact that Amazon sold them astounded me. Even so, it was $100 less expensive than what the local performance stores were charging. The Corvette's factory exhaust was scarcely audible. The automobile was awakened by the SLP Loud Mouth II. It truly has a subtle sports car sound without being overpowering. I enjoy the car's current deep rumble and drone. It won't be so loud that the cops will pay you more attention (as if Corvettes don't already have that issue). It is much louder in the original Loud Mouth. The Loud Mouth II will be adequate for the majority of Corvette owners. A K

This exhaust has my heart. However, if you're hoping for a V8 sound, seek elsewhere. When I originally installed them, they were rather loud, but after approximately 50 miles of breaking them in, they sounded much better. However, some advice is to get new clamps for the mufflers. They are stretchable and single-use clamps. Purchase new clamps to ensure that the resonators are secure and that there are no exhaust leaks. My kit arrived undamaged and in superb condition. However, the pipe on the left side was about an inch too long, so I had to trim it before the muffler and reweld it.Additionally, avoid taking too many lengthy road journeys; they are really loud, so I advise getting some soundproofing.

I was looking for something for my 2012 Hemi Grand Cherokee that would make it stand out from the crowd and demonstrate the Hemi sound. This Gibson suits me just fine. We use our Jeep for lengthy journeys to see my dad, so my wife was quite hesitant to let me change the original system. She wanted the GC to be quiet enough so we could talk on these lengthy drives without even having to slightly raise our voices. I recently set up the system in my driveway, and after a little test drive, it delivers precisely what I was hoping for. It imparts a pleasing tone to the Hemi that is audible without being intrusive. This is not the loud system you are hoping for, but it does produce a pleasant rumbling that only becomes fairly audible at highway speeds. The system has excellent fit and finish and requires little effort to install. I will be taking the Jeep to a muffler shop tomorrow to have the system welded on for long-term piece of mind because I do not like the supplied muffler clamps.Overall, if you're seeking to replace your stock system, I would strongly recommend this one.
A cat-back system is an aftermarket exhaust system that replaces the factory installed exhaust system on a vehicle. It generally includes larger diameter piping and a performance-oriented muffler. Cat-backs are a popular upgrade because they offer a significant increase in power and often a deeper, more aggressive sound.
An axle back exhaust is a great way to improve the performance of your vehicle. However, you will need to tune your vehicle to get the most out of it.
An axle back exhaust will not typically increase performance, however it can change the sound of the exhaust note.
No, an axle back exhaust will not void your warranty.
Borla's axle-back exhausts are designed to increase horsepower and torque, while improving fuel economy. The company's website claims that their products can improve your vehicle's performance by up to 10%.
No, a cat back exhaust will not void your warranty. Your car's warranty is based on the car's original manufacturer's specifications. Aftermarket parts, like a cat back exhaust, do not void your warranty.
