outstanding belt Since no one else has noticed "my problem," I'm guessing that it only affects my quad and not the breadth of the belt. I didn't verify clutch clearance when I placed this belt on my 2002 Polaris Sportsman 500. Because the belt was too thick for my clutch's shim once it was put together, it was unable to idle in forward or reverse. However, it turns out that the issue is not with my belt and can be resolved by adding shims to the clutch. Hopefully the mail will deliver those darn shims soon.If you're used to a worn or old belt, the TL/DR belt offers incredible torque, but check your primary clutch clearance (it should be.020") before re-covering your quad.Update: To solve my clearance issue, I applied shims to my clutch. The belt currently rocks but functions properly. Noting that I had reduced clearance after 13 years, it appears that my nylon space had dissolved. My clutch was probably merely used, and this belt is definitely the right width! Gratitude for reading!

For a Can Am Maverick Maxx DS 1000R, I ordered this. It appears to function extremely nicely. The second OEM Can Am belt I used did not survive more than a few hours, so I had to replace both of them. Using the Razorback belt temperature gauge, this belt appears to run cooler and quieter so far, with little sliding. Simply said, it seemed tighter when I inserted it. It appears that the second Can Am belt deflected excessively. On my Kawasaki Teryx, I've used these with good results in the past. Hopefully, this is a better option for a belt with a longer lifespan. The cost is half that of the Can Am POS belts.

Belts were being devoured by my little bike. This belt features a face that is 90 degrees, and another face that is inclined to snugly fit the clutch. I even bought a second one as a backup. My clutch is simply a cheap Chinese knockoff that you can purchase for a Honda clone on Amazon.

After purchasing a go-kart for my grandson, I discovered the belt was in poor condition. Once I installed your belt, the go-kart functioned flawlessly for approximately a week. The belt on the go-kart wore out and started slipping after a week of use. I wish it had been made of a more durable material because it started to jerk when you gave it gas. Found a go-kart track nearby but had to pay much more for another belt, which has held up so far for three weeks. I like the quick shipping, however I wish it would last longer.

Funny how some individuals claim that these are worthless but Polaris purchases their belts from Gates ( owned). Update.... I have now taken a couple really challenging, intensive rides with this belt in my 2017 xp4 1000 eps. I immediately noticed that the belt was grasping more forcefully than the OEM belt after the initial break-in period. You can see the thickness difference between the two when you compare them side by side. The only thing that bothers me is a tiny chirping noise made while accelerating quickly or cold. However, it has not yet slipped and has shaken some treacherous sand slopes. I think the belt is worth the money!(Another revision) I've now put about 500 miles on this belt, and all I can say is, "Wow!" These can withstand bullets! I ride quite hard and this belt is enduring everything I can throw at it, including mud, sand, and rocks! Don't hesitate, just purchase it!One more update! This belt has now traveled well over 1000 miles and is still going strong! This belt has received every punishment imaginable from me, and it still looks fantastic. The only reason I could think of for why others could experience problems with it is if they don't properly break them in or warm them up before each challenging ride. Before I drive, I always give the belt a few high rpm in park. I also changed my speed throughout the first 20 miles and didn't go full throttle. If this belt ever breaks, I'll buy it again. In the picture, you can see my rzr and my friend, who drives the can am, is wearing a Gates belt as well. On that day, we were performing 4WD doughnuts in the slick mud. most difficult you can conceivably be on a belt. Just purchase one already!

I've driven this belt 500 miles currently without experiencing any problems. For 300 of those miles, I put it through its paces on the sand in Coos Bay after breaking it in. There was not a single squawk from it. The OEM belt ruptured after 300 miles. As a backup, I have another belt.
