Most RV sewer hoses are 3†in diameter, but there are some that are 4†in diameter. The larger hoses are typically used for fifth wheels and Toy Haulers.
Most camper sewer hoses are not universal. There are different sizes and types for different campers and RVs. However, there are a few companies that make universal hoses that will fit most campers and RVs.
RV sewer hose supports are not necessary, but they can certainly make your life a whole lot easier. When you are dumping your tanks, having a support to keep your hose in place can be a real lifesaver. No more having to worry about your hose slipping out of the tank or getting kinked.
Yes, you can hook 2 RV sewer hoses together. This can be done by using a sewer hose connector. By doing this, you will be able to have a longer sewer hose, which can be helpful if you are trying to reach a distant sewer connection.

Since getting our RV, we've noticed that many visitors to various sites use sewer hose supports. I opted to spend and get a sewer hose support as well when I needed a new hose, and I'm pleased I did.As everyone who has traveled in an RV knows, it is not fun to have to lift the hose up to make sure that all the contents have drained out at the conclusion of your trip, or worse still, think the hose is empty and move it only to end up with shoes coated in nasty things. Those concerns will be resolved thanks to this sewer hose support. The plastic support is incredibly simple to assemble and disassemble. I took out the orange holder, placed it underneath the RV's sewage connector, and then carefully dragged it out till it connected to the campground sewer. Once in position, I lifted the sewer line onto the support and checked to be sure it was properly seated. At this point, I could see that the sewer hose was naturally sloping downward toward the park sewer connection. With the sewer hose support in place, everything moved through the hose quite quickly and without becoming stopped at the conclusion of our trip when I opened the black tank and waited while it drained. After that, I flushed the grey tank and was once more overjoyed to be able to stand and observe that everything was draining out without me having to lift it to clear any obstacles. After the tanks had been completely drained, the hose was detached, and I was relieved that nothing harmful was leaking from the end.The support collapses into itself very ease, however I agree with other reviewers that it was difficult for me to attach the orange plastic holder to the support. But when I got home, I discovered that the orange keeper, like the hose support, has a tall end and a short end. If you take the time to look at it and make sure the short end is placed over the short end of the support, you shouldn't have any trouble using it to keep the support together when it's not in use.I've only used it on one trip so far, but it's already proven to be worth the money I spent. I'm hoping it will hold up to use over time, and if it does, I'll update my rating.

Caps with hose connection that allows to drain grey water tank easily

Every RVer, in my opinion, should have a Valterra T58 Twist-On Waste Valve and a dump cap with a hose connection on their vehicle. For the times when one of your black or gray valves didn't completely shut, the twist-on valve is excellent insurance (or you got distracted while you were dumping and you left a gray handle open). Alternately, if you have two gray tanks, you can equalize the tanks without creating a major mess by opening both of them using the twist-on valve. However, if you ever need it, this dump cap with the hose connection will come in very handy. My family mostly roughs it in the wilderness. Everyone uses water responsibly, but on extended trips, we occasionally fill our gray tanks more quickly than we intended to. With this dump cap, I can slowly bleed off some of the gray water so that it soaks into the earth or, if we're close to a slope, stretch my flush hose into the bushes. When I'm finished, I fill the hole, leaving no mess behind. This will allow me to extend my trip by a few days. Please confirm that draining your gray tank is permitted in the state where you are camping. Additionally, if possible, please consider those who will use your camp after you. Don't leave a mess for them to clean up. Never empty your gray tanks onto the ground if they contain food waste from dishes since the following guests will be attracted to flies and other pests by the food waste. Bad.

Along with the Camco 39572 5" Clear Sewer Hose Adapter, I purchased this. I currently have a clear tube at the intake and a clear elbow at the hose's outlet. Although it seems disgusting, I want to avoid having any unpleasant surprises during my dump in the future after going through the unpleasant experience of a blocked hose. The elbow adds a few more inches of length that are required and is nice to keep the hose installed in the dump station hole. Because I didn't have an elbow and the hose was stretched as far as it could go, it was almost pulling out of my typical dump station. Definitely shady. wanted to avoid dealing with the hose slipping out, and this much aids in that. Product is excellent value, well-made, and a terrific tool for keeping an eye on something that nobody wants to talk about but is really important. You can determine the "health" of your black tank and know how well your tank treatment solutions are breaking down substances, etc.

On a whim, I bought this. Due to the sewer inlet's odd angle, I was unable to get a proper connection while at a CG. I bought this when I first saw it, assuming I would never use it again. I was completely mistaken in my assessment. As usual, the fit was tight and sturdy because I use Camco sewing supplies. It should operate without leaking on all bayonet fittings, in my opinion.Initially, it takes the place of the conventional donut on non-threaded connections. It also functions in threaded connections.Third, while dumping, it does not leap out of the hole.Fourthly, it enables a strong connection at any angle.Fifth, it enables a connection when your fittings won't fit through the sewer connection, which is flush with the concrete.Sixth, it prevents commands from escaping. It will make your neighbor pleased.Seventh, it is simple to take out. Simply gently tighten the strap. You will eventually need it if you RV to various CGs.Cons: Like the other Camco Swere items, I wish it had end caps.Just got back from a lengthy summer journey from the Carolinas to the Rockies during which I slept at 33 different campgrounds and was happy to have it in 8 of them.

All three ends swivel 360 degrees
Built in gaskets for odor tight connection
Allows two sewer hoses with lug fittings to connect to the same dump station
Two ends have bayonet fittings, one has lug fitting
Perfect for motorhomes with two separate holding tank valves
$234
With regard to my other hoses and drain plug fitting, this Y adapter is the perfect fit. Having this will help you get to the garbage station faster. I had to move my hose from port to port after finishing each of the three sewer ports I had (2 black tanks and 2 grey tanks), keeping everyone in line waiting as I finished each tank. I can simultaneously drain two ports using this adapter. In cases when there is only one sewage hookup available for two campsites, this adapter will be very helpful in allowing two campers to be connected to the same sewer drain simultaneously.

Easily Remove Your RV Sewer Hose: Allows you to grab your sewer hose by the cap and pull securely from your RV's bumper

These are difficult to press into the bumper ends or remove if you don't have strong hands and fingers. I have to use a mallet, and maybe, with time and warmer weather, they will break in.Even with the clips, I was concerned that these could be stolen easily. It's actually difficult to take something with the clip intact because you need a mallet to attach the clips to the bumper in the first place. If someone truly wanted them, they would still be rather simple to steal even without the clip. Because it almost certainly scraped the paint before it was painted, I'm going to apply a little amount of rust-preventative lubricant around the area where the metal teeth grasp the steel bumper. The only manufacturing suggestion I would make is to substitute what seems to be clear plastic line, like a thicker form of fishing line, with a very thin coated stainless steel cable. But I'm sure the original design is a better option if you want to keep expenses down. Upgrade yourself if you'd like?

My first set of wastewater/sewer hoses, which I purchased a number of years ago, was not quite as high-quality as these. For our brand-new 5th wheel toy hauler, I wanted a new set. The problem is that I wanted a Y connection setup so that I could empty both tank regions without having to take the hose off and put it back on.The main component of my hook-up is this kit. In contrast to some others that can be taken off and put on, I really liked that the system connections are permanently linked to the hoses. In order to get the appropriate angle or turn without also twisting the hose up, the ends also contain a swiveling system. A wonderful addition and bonus in my book. To simultaneously access both outlets, I connected two 10 foot extensions to the Y connector. And it functions perfectly. I installed my hose leveling supports after the shot was taken, and everything drained out smoothly.People are curious about the hoses' clear ends. How can you know when your tank has been cleaned clean if your flushing system does not have clear end connections? With this simple setup, you can observe the clean water draining out once everything has been flushed. Definitely a plus in my book. Nobody is forcing you to stand there and observe the empty tanks being left empty. However, it is excellent to verify that the organic waste is being broken down by the chemicals you employ and that the toilet paper is degrading as it should. The hose is strong, well-made, and thick-walled, all of which are advantages. I have been an RVer for a while, and after trying out about 4 or 5 others, this is the greatest quality hose system I have found so far. I heartily endorse this configuration!Since I had mine in 3–4 days after ordering just before the weekend, I believe the claim that it takes a long time to deliver is false. Therefore, my order arrived without any delays.I was not required to write this review. I do this to support the Amazon Community in general! A brand-new 15' RhinoFLEX set that I purchased from Walmart in 2018 fits wonderfully in the 34-60" Valterra carrier, with the drain adapter and 90-degree angle. The hose fittings didn't need to be altered or ground in any way. View the pictures! I inserted the drain adapter last after sliding the hose in first with the 90-degree connector attached. All parts readily fit inside the smaller Valterra tube when it is opened to its maximum length of 60 with the host entirely deflated. The Valterra tube is attached along the side of the trailer; you can see it in the picture. The attached screws, which are probably #12 or #14, are very large and made mounting simple. I used a 1/8" drill bit to make pilot holes while holding the bracket against the trailer's bottom and marking the holes with a pencil. From beginning to end, the process barely took ten minutes. The latch and hinge appear sturdy enough to withstand routine usage, but I can see how hitting the lid back while trying to insert the hose could break the hinge. My sewer hose is now out of the trailer, and I couldn't be happier with my hose carrier.

Setting up this item is incredibly simple! The design is entirely in one piece, which makes assembly really simple. There are no spikes that need to be put into the ground because it's one continuous unit. The layout was carefully considered. The setup doesn't take more than five minutes. I adore how the height changes gradually from high to low. When not in use, I have a handy storage bag. In comparison to using bricks or pieces of wood to accomplish the necessary drainage, it is considerably more aesthetically pleasing and durable. It has 20 feet, which is more than enough to reach the septic system from our camper. And it's really inexpensive. If I could do it all over again, I would buy this product again since it is simply amazing. Absolutely 5 stars!
You can put heat tape on an RV sewer hose, but it is not necessary. The hose is designed to withstand freezing temperatures without the need for additional heat. If you choose to put heat tape on the hose, be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully.
A sewer sleeve is a pipe that is inserted into an existing sewer line to repair a leak or break. The sleeve is usually made of PVC or other durable material. Most sleeves have a lifespan of 50 years or more.
The size and length of your RV sewer hose will depend on the size of your RV. Most RVs have a holding tank that is between 20 and 40 gallons, so you will need a hose that is at least 20 feet long. The longer the hose, the better, because it will give you more flexibility when emptying your tanks.
You should replace your RV sewer hose every three to five years.
One common question among RVers is how to store their sewer hose. There are a few different ways that people do this, but one of the most popular is to store it in an RV sewer hose storage tube. This is a tube that is specifically designed for storing sewer hoses, and it can be mounted on the side of your RV. It is important to make sure that the tube is properly sealed so that your hose does not leak.
A sewer collar is a type of valve that is placed around the sewer line of an RV in order to prevent sewage from backing up into the RV.
