Since most paddles made for fivers simply displace too much paint to be able to mix a complete one-gallon can without getting paint all over, I thought ordering this guy would be a bit of a gamble. When I finally had a chance to utilize this bad boy with a one-gallon, I was VERY impressed! The paint level barely increased AT ALL when the paddle was inserted all the way to the bottom of the container. Additionally, that came AFTER adding floetrol!I can't stress how highly I recommend this paddle to anyone searching for a paint mixer. I won't declare that the VIVOHOME Mixer has worked wonderfully for me thus far because I lack the experience to compare the VIVOHOME Mixer's simplicity of use to that of similar goods. I've used it to mix thin-set mortar and grout batches weighing up to 25 lbs (powder weight) without any issues. I think the value for the money is better than typical. After using this tool more, I'll try to return later and provide scores for reliability and usability.

My job is setting tiles. I'm curious to see how long this continues. I have successfully mixed 10 50-pound buckets of medium bed thinset with no problems and barely any bogging down. Honestly, quite impressive. It is excellently suited for demanding mixing tasks. You could probably whip up a few tiny batches of deck mud or dry pack mortar with a mixing paddle like an egg beater. No easy task!I'm a serious Milwaukee tool addict. I regret just giving 4 stars. But right out of the box, the cam-lock tab that locks the aux handle was exceedingly flimsy. I can't seem to tighten it in any manner. It only locks firmly in one location, and that location is not ideal for pleasant mixing. If I attempt to lock it in any other position while mixing, it instantly becomes loose and may present a safety risk when mixing a full bucket. There is a great deal of torque at play! If that were to go free while being held during mixing, it would be simple to shatter a wrist or at the very least severely damage it. Milwaukee is not cool. All other things considered, five stars.

This week, I experimented with three different mixers using my Milwaukee M18 cordless Mud Mixer (with HD 9.0 amp battery). Other mixers have a short, flimsy hex shaft that is prone to bending, requiring you to stoop over just enough to tweak your back. They also need a mixing drill with a lot of torque; I'm currently using a cordless mixer, but it doesn't quite compare to a really good corded mixing drill. This mixer's shaft is 1/2" hex and substantial, which puts less strain on the drill and quickly shapes thin set (tile mortar).

The mixing apparatus is excellent. Several bags of LFT thinset were mixed with it. When combining a complete bag at once, this gadget needs a 1/2 inch drill. When mixing a full bucket of thinset, the mixer is put under a fair amount of strain. If you don't submerge the tool in water after using it, the thin set will harden and become challenging to remove. In this manner, at the conclusion of the workday, you may just spray it off with a water hose.

My initial attempt to stir a 1-gallon can of sealant with a wooden paint stirrer failed when I needed to stop a metal roof leak. My efforts did not impress the solids at the can's bottom.I painted the sealant that had not been thoroughly mixed, and I got a minor leak in return. I bought the ABN mixer at that time. On the following dry day, I resumed my work. I had no trouble mixing the sealant and adding the solids with my battery-operated driver drill.This is an excellent tool for a challenging task. You will definitely save a ton of money and hassle with this tiny item! Simple It will look like new in about a minute if you mix your old paint with it in any powered drill. I needed to make some touch-ups in a room before we sell our property, so I was attempting to resuscitate some VERY old paint. The ancient bucket was in our basement when I discovered it, but when I opened it, the contents were completely solid sludge on the bottom and virtually clear water on top. Even if I had had 12 hours to stir it repeatedly to the point where my arm would have fallen off, using a wooden paint stirrer wouldn't have worked. I tried this, and it literally returned the paint's consistency and color to the day I purchased it more than 8 years ago. This saved me from having to go out and buy new paint or, worse yet, try to match the color of the existing paint in the room with one of the "newer paint samples," which almost always results in an incorrect color match. Over the course of the previous few months, I used this method for about 5 more buckets of paint, and the results were exactly the same—like new paint. I would STRONGLY advise everyone to do this.

I paid a little more money on this in the hopes that it would be a better quality than the cheaper one for my boyfriend's tile business. Although the welding on this product is subpar, he was nonetheless pleased with it. He predicted that it will work for a time, but eventually break because of the subpar welding workmanship. He can fix it because he can weld, which is fortunate. Just for the extra money, I'm upset that it wasn't up to par. The next time we need one, I'll probably buy one from Menards.

I have already mixed four batches of hot mud using the Mud n' More Mixball, and it is unquestionably quicker and simpler to use than a mudpan. twenty times simpler.
