To replace an old (40 years) Kohler Champlaign toilet that had a quirky design and flush balls that we could no longer find anywhere and was using/leaking too much water, we ordered a new Kohler Kelston elongated bowl toilet (from Amazon, in a color called Mexican Sand that we couldn't find anywhere locally).Our upgraded Kohler Kelston is great (although I miss the huge 3-gallon flush of the old one). However, our new Kelston didn't come with any instructions, a rubber tank gasket, or connection bolts when it was supplied to us.On the Kohler website, we located the instructions for the Kohler Kelston. The bolts and gasket have part numbers, which we located. At my neighborhood Lowe's, I was able to find bolts, but no one had the gasket. Thus, we discovered this on Amazon. There was a huge crash on Sunday night at around two in the morning. The cat found a way to detach a cabinet from the wall. It dropped and broke the toilet cover. The restroom is less than a year old, so I was beside myself. I put duct tape all over it and went back to sleep. I called American Standard the following morning, and they gave me the information I needed to get a replacement while directing me to Amazon.The lid arrived today, May 14, after being ordered on May 12th, Monday. We had to find a replacement toilet tank cover since something dropped on it and broke it. One of the few sites I could locate a tank cover that wasn't exorbitantly priced and/or didn't require me to purchase a whole tank was Amazon.The tank was really securely packed and delivered in a sizable box. I believe it would have survived if dropped from a three story building.I have a Kohler Wellworth Classic, as I mentioned in the subject, and the tank fits nicely. I would strongly advise finding out the tank number before purchasing the lid if you don't already know it. A blow-out diagram of each of Kohler's toilets with part numbers can be seen on their website, which is also helpful.

When people see it, they all smile because it's so adorable.Although it is felt, the tank cover is not the cheap craft felt I had anticipated after reading reviews. When I first put it on, it was a tight fit, and I was concerned that it was too small. However, after a little tugging, it actually fits pretty nicely and is NOT TOO TIGHT.I mostly bought this set for the toilet seat cover, which is also the prettiest component. It's comforting to know that if you have one of those lengthier oblong-shaped toilet seats, it will fit because I have a circular toilet and it fits, albeit loosely. Felt also makes up the cover.The rug is a major letdown (although I knew this from reading other reviews, so it's not really a disappointment per se; it's just the area where they clearly cut corners). It is a piece of felt that has been cut into the shape of a rug, not a real rug. Although the backing appears to be non-slip, it is undoubtedly not. Try using the tape pieces you buy to prevent floor mats and rugs from sliding all over the floor if you want it to stay in place. Considering the price, I'm still happy with the set even though the rug is currently useless.Since I do intend to reuse this set every year, I will hand wash each item individually in the sink with Dawn. I would not advise washing it, even on the most delicate cycle, after reading other reviews and seeing and touching it in person.Edited to add: All the components are made of felt, and the details—such as the santa belt buckle and buttons on the mat, the berries and holly on the tank cover, and the eyebrows, mustache, nose, and holly—are adhered to the felt using hot glue. The rug's pocket, belt, and collar are the only items that are sewn to the fabric.

Our tank cover was shattered by the previous owners, but I was able to fix it a few days ago. And thus the hunt got under way. This is unmistakably plastic, and it cannot compete with a china tank lid. I was prepared to take a chance on this product despite the price and my desire to spend the cash on a new china lid (it would be nearly as much as a new toilet!). Oh, I really am pleased I did!The cover is a little too long for our tank on its own, but I was able to get a good fit by using the inserts that came with it. The original lid didn't have a lip around the edge, so this one is a good addition. The air freshener that keeps getting knocked to the floor is no longer something I have to repeatedly clean up.Is it the world's most incredible product? No. Does it have the same aesthetic quality as China? No. Does it function as a cover for my open tank? Yes, and it excels at it. This really is the greatest substitute for a tank lid made in China.
