It's magic, this stuff! Okay, so it's not magic, but it's still fantastic! I unknowingly bought the pigment ink to stamp my invitation envelopes because I'm getting married. After being exposed to air for almost a week, the ink still wasn't dry. I was heartbroken and believed I would have to start over by purchasing new envelopes. Before throwing away my hard work, I quickly searched Google and discovered that other brides have experienced the same issue in the past. The Krylon Fixatif Spray was suggested in every post I read. For less than $12, I reasoned, I should at least test it out and see if I can keep my invitations.Shipping: Normally, I'm wary of ordering aerosol things online, but this one arrived swiftly (through Prime) and was packaged carefully. To hold the can in place, the box contained tiny air pillows. Perfect!Now, this product's most significant flaw is that it has a really unpleasant smell. The aroma reminds me of spray paint, in my opinion. Therefore, if used indoors, turn on a fan and open a window. But aside from the scent, I'm extremely content. The spray applies effortlessly, dries the envelopes almost instantly, and doesn't leave a wet or sticky residue. With this product, which really saved the day for me, I could not be happier!

I got this clearcoat after seeing a "Chris Fix" video on how to clear up foggy headlights because it was exactly what he used. The headlights were blurry after sanding. It was surprising when I applied a coat of this. The lights became as clear as new right away. After waiting a short while, I added a second layer, but the lights soon started to look dim, foggy, and less clear. Not terrible, just not very clear. I felt awfully bad. Third coat was ineffective. She told me I might have applied the second and/or third coat too thinly or too thickly when I called their customer support. I'm betting too thinly because thinly sprayed clearcoat doesn't function well. The lenses are now quite clear after I waited a week, lightly wet-sanded with 3000 grit, and polished with Zaino Plastic Magic. I can detect some cracks and other flaws in the clearcoat if I approach really close. If I ever do this again, I'll either use one coat or make the second coat a little thicker.

I adore this thing, wow! To replace the old, dingy-looking kitchen handles I've had up there forever, I ordered some new ones in burnished bronze. At the same time as purchasing the handles, I also ordered this thing. However, after trying it on my previous unsightly handles, THIS LOOKS EVEN BETTER! Even now, I have no idea which one is whose. However, in order to achieve this effect, I submerged my handles in some copper remover—I believe it was TarneX—and left them there for about two days, figuring I wouldn't use them anyhow. As a result, I sprayed them after removing all the debris the Tarnx had removed. Not even a little sanding was necessary... How simple can it be? ... So this morning, I decided to put them up next to a new handle after they had dried for a couple of days (honestly, I forgot they were there), but I couldn't tell which one was which. At the very least, I'm returning the pricey new ones because they looked so beautiful! Once I finish the remaining handles, my kitchen cabinets will appear refreshed and revitalized. The only thing I'm trying to convey is that if you need to replace your old burnished bronze kitchen handles, try this first and see if you're not astounded. However, use the Tarnex first. Them recommends to leave it on for a few minutes, but since I was receiving new ones, I figured, what the heck, I'll just forget about them for a few days. They were well cleaned. Nothing was sanded, nothing at all. All I have to say is that. adore this It exactly resembles my older, worn-out handles in terms of appearance.

I make wreaths from pine cones. The natural cones look unfinished and unappealing. This glaze just only one application to make the color pop and reveal a depth of color that was previously hidden, much like a high-quality finish on exquisite furniture. Although a second coat is not required, I find it impossible to resist that fantastic sheen.Sometimes, silk flower arrangements look best in woven natural baskets, and I use this product to give the baskets a "uptown" appearance when that is desired. It takes the "country" out of the baskets and gives them gloss and depth.This is the treatment I used to prevent the gold from deteriorating when I painted my French Provincial headboard Krylon white with the gold embellishments. I would never even contemplate using anything else because this product is so excellent.A warning, please. Make sure there is compatibility before using Krylon Triple Thick Clear Glaze over a previously painted surface because some paints won't accept a clear glaze without softening, wrinkling, or otherwise destroying the finish.

For a project, my kid had to laminate and put her paper and picture materials on a posterboard so they could be hung or sat on. I purchased this glue specifically for that use, and it held the laminated objects up well. Each object was sprayed on the ground and outside. I got this to spray on a capiz wind chime and garden gnomes. I put it to the test on some toss pillows made of textured linen that I have on my patio furniture in Phoenix, which does get some light. Capiz became more attractive than it was on the gnomes. I applied 2 thin coats, and believe it or not, they still feel like NORMAL fabric. Crazy, huh? Compared to the underwhelming UV resistant fabric spray I purchased months ago, I believe this will function better. Spray paint cans have been utilized in my second project, and as a beginner, I found them to be simple to use. I initially shook the can before applying it, making sure the first couple of seconds were close to the item but not on it (to avoid the initial clumping and bubbling up of paint). Once I had a constant stream, I waved the can over the object quickly while continuing to hold the button down. I applied five to six light coats (letting it dry in between). The paint dries really quickly. a maximum of 10 minutes.The hues are gorgeous! I painted black metal planters with pebble, aqua, and brown boots. They matched the hues of the stock photo exactly.

Chalkboard paint, ah. Where do I start, then, let's see? (Insert maniacal giggling)So I recently had the brilliant notion to use this paint to cover the entire wall in my kitchen. Don't condemn me just yet; I didn't intend to give my kids access to a bucket of sidewalk chalk. No, I had imagined a chic wall covered in charmingly scripted holiday menus, witty sayings, motivational verses, and other delightful things. This momentary failure in judgment is entirely Pinterest's fault.I bought two cans of chalkboard paint from Rustoleum and some purportedly smooth(hahahahaha) paint rollers, armed with the artistic vision of Martha Stewart and the handyman skills of my German Shepherd. I started smearing this gunk all over my wall after taping the edges. I stood back and gawked at my gleaming new blackboard surface after applying two coats and a few hours. In accordance with the instructions on the packaging, I let it to "cure" for a few days before deciding to give it a try.I searched Google for a cute chalkboard drawing of a pumpkin and tried to recreate it on my wall. My pumpkin looked more like a sad, partially deflated beach ball sporting a toupee since I'm about as artistic as a pterodactyl (which is to say, not at all, just in case there's any doubt). I believe I should have put in a little more practice. No huge deal. I snatched my kids' chalkboard eraser and cheerfully wiped at my drawing with the tenacity of a newborn foal. OTHERWISE, IT WOULDN'T. COME.OFF. The surface was rough and challenging to clean up. A sad-looking, poorly rendered squash was now permanently painted on my kitchen wall.You see, nobody informs you when you buy this beautiful, fancy paint that you need to sand your walls before you apply it in order to obtain a smooth drawing surface unless you've used a pretty thick primer. And that rather of using one of those fuzzy ones to apply it, you should probably use a foam roller.I came to the conclusion that my only options were to try to sand it or paint over the wall with the color I'd used elsewhere in my kitchen as I couldn't just let it look like the side of an overpass. I decided for the latter because I obviously didn't have enough on my plate already with three kids, a small business, and a ton of housekeeping, and because I'm obviously not firing on all synapses. I went back to my favorite home improvement shop and bought lots of sandpaper and more paint. (But not a mask, since that would have been rational and nothing like that is happening under my roof.)I came home with a vengeance and used this sandpaper to attack the stupid chalkboard wall. I'll just say that sanding a tall, vertical surface is probably right up there with being waterboarded on my list of "Awesome Life Experiences" if you've never had to do it. Actually, it's probably more exciting to be waterboarded.My wall was beautiful and smooth after inhaling enough black dust to cause Coalworker's Pneumoconiosis and appearing as though I had just emerged from someone's chimney. I used a damp sponge to clean away any remaining dust before opening a fresh can of chalkboard paint.I rediscovered my joy as I started painting, thinking about how awesome my blackboard wall would be when it was all done. It was going to be AMAZING, man! I then unintentionally knocked the paint can over, spilling half of it into the floor and down the side of my kitchen table. In retrospect, I believe that this was the moment when I completely lost touch with reality, but who knows.I was pretty well done with this stupid bleeping wall after washing up this enormous pool of thick black paint (dish soap and water, for all you fellow clumsy people). In reality, I detested it. I started throwing paint at the wall in a similar fashion to how an animal rights demonstrator might throw blood-red paint at senior citizens wearing fur jackets. Having said that, I eventually finished painting it.I'm happy to report that it's working well after allowing it to set once more, applying chalk all over it, removing all of that chalk, and then wiping down the entire wall with a moist sponge. Even though I likely spent hours of my life and sacrificed all hope of pulmonary longevity, at least I can now write with CHALK on my wall. So, there you go.(Seriously though, the thing itself performs admirably. Be sure to sand your walls beforehand and maybe even apply a primer.)
Spray paint does not need a top coat if you are using it for a project that will not be handled or touched often. If you are using spray paint for something that will be handled frequently, or if you want a more durable finish, then you should add a top coat.
Primer is not necessary if you are spray painting an item that is already the color you want it to be. However, if you are spray painting an item that is a different color or you are trying to achieve a certain color, then primer will be necessary.
