This lamp IS ACTIVE. About a week ago, I got some lemon seeds to sprout. I planted them as soon as some root was visible. My lemon seeds have only been exposed to this light for three days, but already the roots have gotten so much longer than I'm used to in that short of a period that one of them has a green sprout coming up that may be difficult to detect in the images. My string of hearts has been exposed to light for one hour each day for the past two days, and it appears that some new baby hearts have emerged. My bedroom doesn't get a lot of natural light throughout the day, so having this is wonderful.UPDATE: Since I've been putting the light on my plants for less than a month now, I though I'd give you an update on my lemons and the string of hearts that you can see in my before photos. My true love in life is plants! So trust me when I tell that over the years, I've acquired a variety of grow lights. I particularly value the golden glow of these grow lights because some flicker and won't remain on, some have an awful red, blue, or white light to them, or some have other undesirable characteristics. They don't feel like an odd light source in my room, so I feel free to leave them on for as long as I need to. I really appreciate the clamp feature because it is just what I needed and is quite strong and dependable.There are no intricate timer buttons or intensity scales on the switch for the two lights; it is just an on/off switch. Depending on how bright you want it, you can turn one or both on, and that is the ideal number of options (my most recent grow light had sooo many extra buttons that made no sense and the whole panel ended up shorting out). Good design is simple. I'm overjoyed that my Christmas cactus is already starting to brighten up more. After using the product for only two days, I have submitted a review. I'll also admit that in exchange for writing a 5-star review, Amazon is giving me a $15 gift card. Reviews are highly subjective, so I'll simply mention some things I've seen. This 60W LED grow lamp cost me $25. It's unclear to me whether the gadget genuinely uses 60W of electricity or just simulates a 60W incandescent bulb. I'm too lazy to take the ampmeter out, and the package makes no claims either way. It came in two or three days. packaging complete. It was produced in China. Product literature occasionally makes a little "English" mistake; it's not a significant concern, but it does hint that a native English speaker was not on the team that reviewed the publications. (For instance, a warning label on a package might read, "It is dangerous to melt the wire. Please cease using it and notify us.") Don't melt the wire, people! As promised, the lamp features three light bars. Utilizing the in-line controller is easy. One, two, or three of the light bars can be turned on. The lights can also be dimmed to five different levels of intensity. The light bars cannot be made to have various intensities from one another. They all alter simultaneously. You can set the timer for 3, 6, or 12 hours. When the timer function is activated, the light countdown begins and repeats every 24 hours. (For instance, set the 3-hour timer to start at 6:00 am to have the lights turn out at 9:00 am. It will switch back on the next day at 6:00am for another three hours as long as you don't make any changes to the settings or remove the device.) Since it has only been two days, I am unable to attest to how well this LED genuinely promotes plant development. I am (so far) pleased with the $25 investment on this cilantro plant for my home garden. I should note that my cilantro was leaning toward the closest window, but now that there are light bars 8 to 10 inches above it, the cilantro stalks are growing toward the LED lights. I assume that's a positive indicator. It will also give your kitchen the appearance of a NASA research facility. Rather bright purple illumination. really cool

I had to review yet another brand-new broad spectrum LED grow light.With a price of $20 USD, it can be directly compared to the Roleadro 45w panel, which is now (higher) priced at $23.66 on Amazon.Does it outperform the Roleadro panel, TL;DR? No. However, it is a little less expensive and lacks a ballast on the cord (this may be a benefit to some people).It comes with a 5-foot power cord but no power switch or ballast (just plug it in and go). Some of my favorite seeds have recently been prepared, so when I plant them in the garden the first week of May, they will be ready to begin blossoming or flowering. I was seeking for a compact, small LED that provided the right spectrum for all of my seedlings to sprout and flourish. This lighting option was most certainly appropriate. My lettuce and tomato seeds are all responding wonderfully and developing at an incredibly fast rate since I placed the light over them. The coolness of the LED allows me to position the lamp incredibly near to the plant without harming or burning the leaves, and the light fixture allows me to move and manipulate the arms and head of the fixture to promote optimal growth. Additionally, it prevents plants, particularly tomatoes, from growing too tall or spindly and encourages the development of thicker stalks, which makes the plant stronger and healthier. Any light that isn't used is reflected back to the plants.These, along with other lights without them, were utilized by me this spring to start my tomatoes and peppers. The plants were in great condition. They were simple to fasten to a location on the rig I build, which is not by any means professionally purchased. Anyone can attach them securely to my device if I can.They are not outrageously pricey and ought to last me the rest of my life. Since my single window faces north, I figured I would never be able to keep succulents indoors without them spreading out and appearing lifeless and green. I chose to give these grow lights a shot on my succulents that were severely etiolated. I saw some significant improvements in my succulents' new growth within a week. Not only was it growing in nicely compact, but I also noticed that its "stress" colors were beginning to emerge!
