It's nice that I have two sets of HUE play. Many of you may be asking how to make the HUE SYNC (for PC and Mac) compatible with devices like ROKU (Netflix), gaming consoles (PS4, Xbox, Switch), etc., so allow me to walk you through this involved process and the tools you'll need:******UPDATE 5/2/2019******(If you're unsure, get some paper and sketch it out.)A HDMI splitter with HDCP 2.2 and at least two outputs (Look for splitter that has auto step down to 1080 from 4K for second output)Make sure the splitter you purchase is 4k and HDCP 2.2 compliant if your TV is 4k. The splitter's description must include HDCP 2.2 and not simply 4K or HDCP1.4! Regarding the input side, you simply require the number of devices you actually have (you shouldn't connect several splitters to one splitter, though). Since all of my devices connect to my AVR, I only need an HDMI splitter with one input and two outputs (1x2). You only require a ROKU if you only have one. A HDMI switch with two inputs and two outputs is required if you have ROKU and an XBOX or PS4 (2x2). Regardless of the number of inputs required, there must always be two outputs, and the second output must have the ability to convert 4K to 1080. If your TV is 1080p, you don't need this option, but 4K users will find it essential because it will prevent them from having to make a lot of adjustments.2) A USB-to-HDMI video capture deviceMost HDMI video capture devices only record in 1080p; there is no reason to use 4K for HUE Sync if all you want to do is extract the color from the video clip. On one side of the HDMI splitter, connect the video capture equipment to Output 2 via an HDMI cable, and on the USB side, connect it to your PC or Mac.3b) STOP!Download the Philips Hue mobile app, then connect the Hue Bridge to the lights you want to sync with your TV before continuing. BEFORE setting up the HUE Sync program on the PC/MAC, update everything and make sure it's ready.3c) Download "OBS Studio" and install the driver and software on your PC or MAC. I don't know if Windows 10 will function with Chromebooks or any other operating systems because I'm using it here. I made sure the canvas screen was set to 1080 in the OBS Studio software's settings to ensure that the video capture's screen ratio was accurate. High frame rates and resolution are not necessary in this situation. Choose and OEM Video capture from the sources box on the lower left side of the OBS Software. Make sure there are no black cutoff areas and that the PREVIEW screen is set to full screen.No. 4 HUE SYNCInstall HUE Sync. There are many YouTube videos that will walk you through setting up HUE Sync on your PC, so just do that and you'll be all set. What I did was change the intensity to subtle and turn off music sync. Turn off backdrop lighting by going to Settings/General Preference/Background Lighting. When the same area of the display is black, the low white light interferes with the HUE Sync.Optional: I purchased a tiny Windows PC to be used exclusively as a TV PC. If you want to avoid experiencing the dreaded Windows "slowing down" problems, install CCleaner and set it to run automatically when Windows starts. You can program particular keyboard buttons to initiate Syncing in the HUE SYNC PC software. I must admit that I did end up purchasing three different small PCs and returning two of them due to the fact that they cannot run 4K without freezing. I ultimately purchased an MSI Cube N with an Intel 5000N processor and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. I set the frame rate to 60Hz and the resolution from 4K to 2048x1152. It functions flawlessly the entire day.If everything is done correctly, you may now watch or play anything on your TV and enjoy HUE Play from any source. To ensure that your Xbox, PS4 Pro, or Roku can output 4K to your 4K TV, remember to verify the 4K settings on each device. You won't be able to watch 4K if the splitter you use or any other components you use in addition to the video capture are not HDCP2.2. Your ROKU may force 4K output, however the video capture will only show a blank screen. Make sure your HDMI is 2.0 or higher; an inexpensive HDMI cable from Amazon will do just fine. Please accept my two cents.

These are what I bought to light up my electronic dartboard. Without having to build an outlet or reach the lights to turn them on and off, I wanted to be able to hang a light or lights on the ceiling. Only the amount of light remained unknown because these lights satisfied all of those requirements. The lights are mounting so quickly that it's almost funny! By screwing in the base, which is already off from installing the batteries, you may either attach the light by snapping it to it or by using the supplied velcro patch. Done. Both lights turn on when I push the remote's power button. I grinned and pointed them at the dartboard. The brightness of the lights is exactly right to make the board more visible than the other LED shop lights around. I can play darts with just these two lights while turning off the other lights. These are all you'll need if you want an accent light for dartboards, paintings, photos, displays, etc. Simple, practical, and efficient!

I received this item exactly as described, and it will serve my purpose quite well. The fact that a sizable 1" x 4" WHITE label is attached to the light's outside, nevertheless, is a big problem. Particularly on the black finish, this is really obvious (but would be an ugly blemish on white or silver, as well).Even worse, this label is permanent in style, has non-removable adhesive, and is printed on thin paper. It's the sort of inventory control labels that were specifically designed to be challenging to remove! (Each individual package has a label with the same text.)It takes a lot of effort and involves using solvents, etc. to remove this label. So, by employing a permanent label in a noticeable place, what ought to be an incidental issue has been transformed into a significant endeavor. Either the label should be covered, such on the base's bottom, or a detachable product should be used.A thoughtless and preventable finishing fault cost a five star item one star!

Except for the brightness levels, everything about this product has been excellent. The lights are great when they are at 100%, but when I reduce them—either manually or by clicking the preset "50%" button—they quickly return to 100%. Whether I use the remote control or the side button on the lights, they will dim fine, but when I want to keep them dim for a time, they will always return to 100%. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Or might it be the way the item is made?

This light's creation was thoughtfully planned out. The light uses 3 AA batteries to operate and has rotatable bulbs that can be turned to face different directions if desired. It also has a removable leveler built into the screw hook socket bar and a remote control with functions for timing, adjusting brightness, adjusting color tone, and turning on or off. The actual bar holding the bulbs in place can also rotate 180 degrees on the light fixture. My only criticism of this is that the bar holding the bulbs should be constructed of malleable metal so that I could move the bulbs around as I saw appropriate. With the revolving lights, they slightly alleviated this problem, but in the end, I wish this was a feature. But not enough to dock a star.

I bought this yesterday, and I installed it nearly right away. This is far more my style than the massive, metal, museum-style lighting. They become hot, and you have to messily secure them to walls. but not this one. A printed installation guide and a leveler that was already there made the job incredibly easy. This lamp has a wide range of options thanks to the additions like the remote. In general, I'm really happy. Though I doubt I'll be using this for hours on end, I'm not sure how long three AA cells will survive. I believe I got a nice deal on a rather well-made light with this particular buy.

For the price, the light seems to be good. Installing it was really simple. The remote worked reasonably well, however it occasionally had problems. The fact that the light was simply not very bright was my biggest letdown. White light and more of an amber color were available in two different lighting modes. Although there were many brightness settings, neither mode nor brightness seemed to fit the darker image particularly well. I only have the top third of a darker landscape poster by a well-known artist illuminated by the light. We were hopeful that this would work because we don't want a cord to appear. I'm looking for something more that will better brighten the overall scene.

I'm going to keep this straightforward after reading other reviews...Use 3M Command picture hanging strips to hang these lights; this will make taking them down easier and damage-free.- To change the batteries, "push and spin" the housing unit open while leaving the backing on the wall, ceiling, or other installed location.- Use the timer on the remote control; although the lights continue for a long time without it, using the timer will ensure that you don't forget.- Even with the light-brightness options on the remote, these lights are bright enough but are not blinding.- If you don't get these lights, I believe you are making a mistake. They are perfect, classy, reasonably priced, and truly make your home glitter!- Absolutely 5 stars.- Absolutely everyone should get these lights, in my opinion.
Spotlights are definitely better than light bars. Here's why: 1. Spotlights provide a more focused beam of light, which is ideal for illuminating a specific area. 2. Light bars tend to produce a lot of glare, which can be distracting and even dangerous. 3. Spotlights are less likely to blind oncoming traffic, so they're actually safer to use. 4. Spotlights are more compact and less obtrusive, so they don't ruin the look of your vehicle. 5.Spotlights are simply more efficient
Yes, there are lights that don’t need to be plugged in. These are called battery-operated lights or solar-powered lights. Battery-operated lights use batteries to power the light, while solar-powered lights use solar panels to convert sunlight into electricity.
Yes, you can leave battery operated lights on all night. There is no risk of fire or electrocution, so you can feel safe leaving them on.
When choosing a picture light, it is important to consider the size, style, and placement of the light. The size of the light should be proportional to the size of the picture, and the light should be placed so that it does not cast a shadow on the picture. The style of the light should complement the style of the picture.
Battery-powered picture lights are a great option for lighting up artwork or photographs. They are easy to install and provide a consistent light source that will not damage your artwork. But how long do these battery-powered lights last? Typically, a battery-powered picture light will last for around 20 hours. This means that you will need to replace the batteries every few months, depending on how often you use the light. If you use the light regularly, you may need to replace the batteries more often. To get the most out of your battery-powered picture light,
Mini LED lights are becoming increasingly popular as a energy-saving lighting option. But how long do they actually last? Most mini LED light bulbs have a lifespan of around 25,000 hours. That’s about 10 years of use if you’re running them for 8 hours a day. So, if you’re looking for a long-lasting and energy-efficient lighting option, mini LED lights are a great choice.
