I impulsively purchased this and am really happy that I did. I spent a lot of time on ladders and got weary of having to climb the ladder again to get my drill every time I needed it on the ground or on the opposite side. Either that, I would take it with me and leave it in a different room, or I would do something else that was time-consuming and frustrating. No longer, as this holster is incredibly durable and allows me to always carry additional accessories like a knife and screwdrivers. Because it hangs tight to you, the weight load is placed directly on your hip, which is the strongest part of your body. Sometimes I am unaware that I am wearing the drill until I look down. While I'm working, I don't use the strap, but I do when I'm going to store it, and it helps prevent the drill from falling out while you're taking it off. I'm pleased with it and NoCry in general thus far. It's an odd name for a brand, but quality and the fact that it's not made in China are more important to me than brand names. When it comes to tools or work equipment, I only purchase goods made in the US, Mexico, or any European nation, so the fact that this was produced in Estonia offers me some added peace of mind. This is true, of course, except when there is no other option (such as with TVs). I'm planning to get my wife and brother-in-law each one of these holsters, as well as a pair of their knee pads and work apron, to see how things perform.

One of the best investments I've ever made for my little 12V Ryobi drill driver, this holster comes with extra bits for your drill or driver and is designed with functionality in mind. When working and needing to swap between tools regularly, having this holster is a godsend. It makes life so much simpler than looking for a place to put your drill/driver and is an excellent value for the price and the quality. My Ryobi 12V fits in this holster like it was made just for it, not for a wide variety of drill drivers and impact drivers; it's a very snug fit for it, very secure, and held in by an easily detachable strap that can be hooked onto velcro after unclipping to allow easy re-holstering after a piece of work. Pull off and clip in with ease. Although the clips are composed of tough, thick, and stiff plastic, they are far more durable than I had anticipated. I don't see it deteriorating soon at all, and at the price being offered here, a replacement holster would be more cost-effective. One minor gripe is that a belt must first be looped through it, but this is not a big deal as it keeps your person fairly securely. It seems extremely normal to have, in my opinion.I am confident that this holster will fit any 12V impact driver or driver considering the snug fit of my Ryobi and the readily adjustable strap to keep multiple drivers or drill sizes within. If you're drilling or screwing in more than one hole or screw, I strongly recommend this holster. The amount of assistance is astounding. A simple 5 out of 5 stars; I wouldn't think twice to purchase another if necessary, and I would undoubtedly purchase CLC holsters if I need them for tool or bit storage that is on hand. Save time and purchase this item for the discounted price of $10; you won't likely regret it.

This was precisely what I needed. Have a lead stocking job and grew bored of losing my boxcutter, having pens fall out of my pockets, or having the tape measure I used for store or planner resets fall to the floor every time I bowed over (which as you can imagine, was A LOT).I didn't had to rely on flimsy clips to keep my belongings close at reach thanks to the belt loop on this. easily accommodated the box cutter, a spare, extra pens I collected throughout the day, and at one point, even a tiny torch.Be warned, if you squat or bend over as much as I do in a day, you can accidentally knock it off the hook and won't necessarily hear it. I finally lost mine that way during a crazy reset night. The metal piece on the front bottom part to hook your tape measure onto was nice and sturdy - very easy for me to clip on my mini tape measure. However, it's really useful for brief periods when you don't want to leave it down for fear that a sharp-eyed manager may take it without your permission to finish their piece of shelfing; The verdict: It's fantastic. I would immediately return to acquire another one if I lost this one for some reason. I've had this one for almost a year and I still use it.

I was seeking for a way to rapidly reach my keys while still being able to use something to affix my keys to my belt. I used to use a carabiner, but this time I didn't want something so bulky and hefty. After that, I was using a fast release key chain that looked like a seat belt buckle, which I really loved, but it's nearly impossible to locate one without annoying printing. Then I noticed this. The concept is very similar to how I used to bend the pocket clip on my knife to get the same result. It is basic and practical. It fastens to my belt, and my keys simply pop on and off of it in less than a second with little effort. I'd be shocked if I managed to bend the steel because it is a really robust material. I wasn't going to use the included key ring at first, but after realizing how much better made it is than my old one, I transferred my keys over. My only worry is that the finish may ultimately scratch off. Although this is to be expected with any painted item, it has so far held up fairly well. Although there are some wear indications, the wear hasn't yet penetrated the coating. I simply wish there was a plain zinc coating choice so I could avoid worrying about the finish.

This device is really practical in my opinion. I am a plumber, and I regularly use a Milwaukee m18 Hackzall. I move from unit to unit in the numerous residences that we work on. Since projects shift too rapidly to carry a belt, I typically keep a little box containing fittings and other items. The hackzall is tough to pick up when I'm moving everything to the next unit, though. I can easily move from unit to unit thanks to this, cutting down on wasted treks back and forth.Recognize that the tool's handle has a knob that sticks out on one side. There have been concerns about this, however if you are aware of which hand you use the most, position it properly. I've become accustomed to it because I value how convenient it is to attach it to my belt. Despite being a compromise, it works out. Make sure your belt is a good fit. Because the entire weight of the tool is on it.I'll also be purchasing additional knobs for my drills.I hope that was useful.

My line of employment is in the apartment business, like a few others here. Carrying a variety of tools for carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC is my responsibility. This pouch will still hold the majority of the tools needed for the task at hand if you operate in a property that requires heavy maintenance. I can fit my 11 in 1 screwdriver, small 3/8 flat screwdriver, standard flat and Phillips screwdriver, set of allen wrenches, two pairs of channel locks (I can't tell what brand they are because they have red slim handles), 12 inch crescent wrench, 29/32 in. x 31/32 inch shower valve socket wrench, toilet bolt jam bar, linesman pliers, wire strippers, utility knife, Milwaukee folding saw knife, tube cutters, snips, hvac Unless I'm climbing a ladder or doing something else that requires both of my hands free, I carry this pouch by hand most of the time and don't clip it to my belt. The only item this large pouch doesn't appear to be able to carry is hardware for repairs. The tools remain safe, and if you're organized as I am, you can typically see any missing items at a look. Just be careful not to leave it lying about because it often disappears along with all of your "important" hand tools.

It firmly stores multi-tools of various sizes and suits them. It is kept snug with elastic. The elastic is extremely well protected by thick fabric, thus it appears to be well built and lasting. In general, the belt loop/clip on Nite Ize items lasts a lot longer than a fabric loop, and this is no exception. In place of the shredding sound of Velcro, it shuts with a snap and opens with a single "click."Without obstructing the main compartment, you can clip small objects to the elastic loops on the side (a pen, a AAA flashlight, etc.).The belt clip has a bottom opening that allows you to attach it to your belt without unbuckling it. It holds firmly and won't come off during routine use.The back of the main compartment has a tiny, narrow secondary pocket that is ideal for carrying the thin Leatherman driver bits or extra saw or file blades if your tool has replaceable ones (like my Surge or some Gerber models)Dislikes: The belt loop rotates, which is unnecessary for my needs and only adds bulk. As a result, the sheath protrudes somewhat from my belt rather than being tucked in neatly.Neither favors nor disfavors, yet may be of interest to some:The elastic allows it to fit snuggly over a variety of Leatherman tools, including my larger Leatherman Surge tool. On the one hand, I enjoy how versatile it is and how nothing rattles around in the sheath, but on the other hand, with larger multi-tools like my Surge or Super Tool 300, it requires a little more work to get them into the sheath, especially when they are first purchased. Either size tool may be removed with with one hand.Since the belt clip is made of plastic rather than fabric, it will endure longer before wearing out. One of the only businesses that can create a strong, long-lasting clip that doesn't dig into my side is Nite Ize. However, this sheath has a swivel mechanism that can be "clicked" into several orientations, allowing you to carry your tool either vertically or horizontally. The sheath doesn't hug my belt tightly anymore because of the bulky swivel; instead, it protrudes somewhat from it. Even though it isn't bad enough, it isn't my top choice. If I were the supreme king of the universe, I would order Nite Ize to produce two models—one vertical and one horizontal—and remove the swivel so that it would fit more snugly on a belt.By using elastic to wrap around the side portions of the sheath and "squeeze" the tool to keep it tight, it self-adjusts for size. increases security but requires a little more work to install and remove. However, using this elastic to attach a pen or small penlight without obstructing the main pocket is a brilliant idea.Instead of using Velcro to seal it, it uses a snap. This prevents ripping noises while opening and requires no maintenance to maintain the 'hook' side free of lint. The way the elastic holds it compensates, at least in part, for the fact that it does restrict the size of the tool that can be used. Although it stretches to suit a Surge or Super Tool 300, those are approximately the realistic upper and lower limitations in terms of size. It will firmly hold a tool as small as the original PST.The bottom of the main compartment has a little aperture. It must be to let dirt or debris through, I suppose. Although your tool won't fall through, I wouldn't place something particularly thin or little in the pouch because it might do so.

As a firefighter, I must ALWAYS have my multi-tool and flashlight with me, and as an officer, I must also have my department's iPhone. Two of these have already worn out, but they were put through the ringer before they died. A full-sized Swisstool, a Streamlight HL-X, and an iPhone 11 in an Otterbox Defender cover are all stored inside. The iPhone 11 is a bit larger and, while it still fits, it is a little tight and difficult to slide in and out of the protectors. Up until recently, the iPhone 8s fit fine. I'll have to see if that's a good thing or not. In any case, it holds all I need and lasts for at least a good year of heavy use before the cloth on the back begins to wear through.
