Some people prefer the look of a deck plate, while others think it looks cluttered. It is a matter of personal preference.

Moen 16090 Chateau Collection Replacement Escutcheon for One-Handle Tub and Shower Faucets, Chrome Review:

I actually bought this secondhand and in very good (like new) condition through Amazon Warehouse Deals for less than $15.00 (around 15% savings). It was delivered again without screws (not needed anyway). It looks brand-new and is of higher quality than other after-market parts. I am aware of this since after about 5 years, a replacement escutcheon that I purchased off-the-shelf (I believe it was made by Danco) started to fracture a little around the screws. I am replacing it with this original Moen escutcheon since it is now roughly 8 years old. I anticipate using this one for at least ten (probably twenty) years. For the other bathroom's shower trim, I also bought a BrassCraft SK0230 Plumb Shop for Moen Tub and Shower Trim Kit, Chrome as I have two showers with the same Moen fixtures. The BrassCraft replacement is an excellent price because it comes with all new components, including the drip/stop tube, shower handle, escutcheon (with rubber seal), and two new screws. I should point out that the BrassCraft metal escutcheon is still a very good after-market replacement even though it is not as heavy-weight (firm/strong) metal as the original Moen escutcheon.

Moen 105895SRS Collection Air Gap with Matching Escutcheon Ring, 1, Spot Resist Stainless Review:

The only reason to purchase this specific air gap was because the Moen spotless stainless faucet matches the spotless stainless air gap cover perfectly. In order to prevent white plastic from showing above the countertop, a lower ring is also included to hide the air gap foundation. The remainder of the air gap, though, is standard merchandise that you may get anywhere. At least the cap appears to be made of real, gleaming stainless steel rather than imitation metal on plastic, which I assume is the cause of the high price.

Gourmet Scape SC1008 Studio Accessory Faucet Hole Cover Kitchen Sink, Brushed Nickel Review:

The reason for the one star deduction in this instance is the incredibly thin metal used to create the hole cover. In order for it to not "dimple" when installed, I had anticipated that it would actually be made of a sturdy material. Not at all.Even with my careful attention and finger tightening, it did "flatten" during installation. I couldn't have made it any tighter without it becoming concave.Would a different cover performed the same? I think so.Would I repurchase it? Probably, as it cost roughly a third less than the other hole coverings I looked at in terms of price.

BWE 6" Bathroom Vanity Sink Faucet 4" Hole Cover Deck Plate Square Escutcheon Brushed Nickel Review:

This satisfied our needs exactly! Before I bought the "wrong" faucet, nobody even understood what a eustation was. I mistakenly believed that one mount was one mount. I was unaware that our 30-year-old sink had three rather than simply one hole. This was the ideal response.Although I'm sure you could pay more, I thought this was a wonderful deal and did the trick! I am overjoyed!

Decor Star PLATE-10B 10" Kitchen Sink Faucet Hole Cover Deck Plate Escutcheon Brushed Nickel Review:

Although no one at any of our many local hardware stores appears to recognize that this is a "sink escutcheon," and none of them even carry something similar, we were quite glad to find this item here on Amazon. Our stainless steel sink has three 2.5-inch holes "Our new faucet only required one of the holes, so this was the perfect solution for hiding the others. Moreover, our sink has a 1/8 "This plate fits perfectly inside the confines of the upward indent where the holes are located. It has a lovely finish and a fantastic appearance. It appears that the plate has a relatively thick rubber portion underneath it that serves to seal it off and sort of hold it in place, but this is entirely the result of the pressure you apply to the screw-on ring that is located between the sink and faucet. This plate can still somewhat swivel even after being adjusted; it would be excellent if it came with some additional bits that could be used to connect it to the unused sink holes to prevent pivoting.Despite this, the "structure" does not conjure images of substantial or robust materials, as one might typically expect: The metal is similar to sheet metal in thickness. There isn't really anything supporting the structure of the plate to avoid that, so we took care while tightening the screw-on faucet ring underneath the sink to make sure it wouldn't bend the plate. This is quite affordable and fashionable for the price tag, as long as one knows what they're receiving.

Moen 15528 Escutcheon Screws, Chrome (2-Pack) Review:

Since we moved into our home, I had been putting up with a shoddy tub trim that allowed water to enter behind it, was loose, etc. I finally made the decision to replace it, and it appears that the previous owner used the incorrect screws. These screws were the ideal length and, when combined with the new trim I purchased, they have resolved my bathtub problems!

BWE 6" Bathroom Vessel Vanity Sink Faucet 4" Hole Cover Deck Plate Escutcheon Brushed Nickel Review:

The provided foam gasket that fits underneath the metal provides a good seal, and the metal is sufficiently heavy. I really liked the earlier reviews' caution about how it might bend or dimple if the faucet was tightened. Created a spacer out of 1-1/2" PVC pipe and 3/16" PVC tail piece slices to place on the faucet stem underneath the plate to prevent this from happening. An enormous, hefty Kohler Simplice faucet appears to have been the best fit for this. (Wife of the buyer)

Homary 6" Rectangle Matte Black Rectangular Escutcheon Bathroom Faucet Sink Hole Cover Deck Plate Stainless Steel Replacement 3-Hole Escutcheon Plate Review:

adore it Because the faucets we wanted didn't come in our hole size, this truly saved our lives. I was NOT A PROFESSIONAL, thus I had to make the granite hole bigger. This filled in the other two gaps and my errors.
