I searched for a rug like this for a very long time because it is the ideal size for my porch. The stripes are adorable and colorful. The rug won't lay flat, even after a month and a half of ownership, and that is the only thing that worries me. With a smaller, heavier mat in the centre and four enormous lanterns on the ends, it waves throughout. Unfortunately, you can see how thin it is when it is rippling like this, which makes it appear cheap. Since it is effectively the same item for less money, I should have looked for one of those inexpensive woven plastic beach mats. I'm not sure if the fact that I reside in a region with significant humidity is what makes it so rough. It has so far withstood the sweltering summer sun without fading and is quite simple to clean.

I bought it so I could let my dog out on the porch while getting dressed in the morning. She was reluctant to use it at first, but after I invited her friend over for a playdate and I rewarded her for using it, my dog went after it right away and received a treat and some attention. My townhouse has two little patios with tiny pieces of grass. Two medium-sized dogs use the grass patches as their dog runs. Within six months, the grass is dead and has turned into a mudhole.My issue was totally resolved by this solution. I cut it to size with branch-trimming shears. Looks very authentic, like a newly mowed lawn. drains the hour's most intense downpours. It took about an hour to install, and a few "grass staples" were required to fasten it into place. Solid garbage may now be simply picked up and disposed of. Maybe once a week, I hose it down. Both dogs immediately warmed up to it. Unexpectedly, there were no longer any bugs. With how these turned out, I am overjoyed! Excellent value and quality! My porch is perfectly sized thanks to the two-pack I purchased for $36. I wanted a surface for my child to play on so his toys wouldn't be completely ruined on the pavement.The mat is undoubtedly woven from plastic, but it is of decent quality and feels comfortable underfoot. The plastic thread is supposed to be dark green and cream, as many reviews have noted, but to me it looks more like black and cream. The mat appears black when it is lying on the ground but may be seen as green when held in specific lighting. Despite my sensitivity to color, I have no issues with it. It looks lovely and crisp and clean, in my opinion.

Initially, I did enjoy the grass. My kids loved playing on it because it was soft and realistic-looking. It just causes me two issues.1) Despite being advised that infill was not required, the grass would not stand up on its own. Although infill is necessary, my kids still enjoyed it, and I didn't want to pay an additional $150 to $200 by using the type and quantity that the infill community had recommended (there is one btw). It was disheartening that the grass was so flat, but I attempted to go past it.it melted 2) That's a problem, I guess. After a few months in the scorching Southern California sun, the grass began to develop these melted line streaks (see photos). I'm not sure how to describe it. The grass appeared to have been melted by what appeared to be a 4 × 4 piece of metal lying on the ground. However, there was no metal lying on the ground. Maybe a window's reflection? unable to locate one. The melted portions feel like the rough surface of a kitchen sponge, which is how I imagine it happened, but I have no idea what caused it. They are rather rough and spiky, but they are undoubtedly uncomfortable to play on.So I gave the company a call before contacting Amazon. At that time, the grass was 8 months old. I wanted to see if I could receive a refund or a replacement. After all, there is a 10-year warranty on them.The caller was really disrespectful, as I noted in the review's title. He didn't like my phoning, apparently. He appeared to be really annoyed. He eventually requested that I email him images. I went and snapped seven pictures, including a couple close-ups, and immediately sent him an email.He answered:Hey RyanDo you understand how the turf melted? Please cut a piece of the melted component and send it to us. Okay, everyone, everyone, really consider how you're going to utilize this. It won't be suitable for walking on. It is not resilient. It emits a lot of black dust! It is quite thin. Now, if you're creating a diorama with gnomes or succulent gardens as we are, this is ideal! Since ours can't stand frost, they are moving inside for the season. It required numerous trips to the goodwill in order to find a suitable table to turn into a stand for them. The cutting and stapling were simple because the material was thin. The black particles required significant cleanup. As a result, avoid damaging the device by trying to utilize it for impractical tasks. It is cheap and not meant for things that require durability!

DIY installation that looks fantastic in my small yard (simply cleared the area and secured it with yard staples). Given that my yard is shaded by some giant Sequoia trees and receives little light, I needed something to brighten the area and keep the dirt down because it is difficult to grow actual grass there (and requires water, which is at a shortage in CA). Our little pinscher is accustomed to using a grass matt bed inside, but she may also be educated to use it outside. Before, we had one of those grass gadgets designed solely for canine toileting. It was a platform made of plastic with a sliding door for urination. After two days, this grass matt smelled like high hell, and the drawer feature was only a gimmick because most of the pee didn't drain to the lower level. It was painful to clean the shed-fest grass matt, separate drawer, and hefty plastic housing. We eventually became tired of this garbage and chose to use the wee-wee pads with the low-level plastic base that would catch any pee that could seep through. In the end, our dog refused to approach it. She suppressed it all day until we led her outside.After experiencing the same problem for a second day, I searched Amazon for a small piece of turf that we could add on top of what we already had. I'm very delighted the Savvy Grow comes in many sizes because the one we bought fits almost exactly the same as the proportions of a wee-wee pad, and the cost is reasonable. We ripped into the package as soon as we received it. and the dog became enthused at hearing all the tearing sounds (she does that with any package). When I lay out the mat in the restroom after she had followed us there, she instantly stepped on it and relieved herself. She barely scented it before she saw it, so I couldn't believe what I was seeing! It's nice that anything strikes the grass mat can now be caught and absorbed by the wee wee pad. There hasn't been a scent yet, and cleaning should be simple. The synthetic grass blades are flattened when you first unroll the mat because it is incredibly tightly rolled when it is delivered. It will start to take shape if you simply thoroughly rake your fingers through it. We're aiming for number two.

I needed something so my dog could have pee breaks when we can't go for walks since we get a lot of thunderstorms and occasionally it's simply too hot to go for walks till the sun is setting. Up until recently, I had been getting Fresh Patch real grass patches, but the price was mounting around $40.00 every two weeks to every month, depending on how frequently we used the grass patch. (Forget the fact that every other Fresh Patch order needed to be replaced since it was spoilt from being sent in the heat of the summer.) I therefore required another answer. I discovered this faux grass after doing some investigation. It was extremely simple for me to cut it to fit the plastic tray I had been utilizing for my real grass patches. My only error was cutting it on the rug in my living room without considering the massive mess it would cause. Haha. So take heed of my error and cut yours outside. In my attempt to remove every piece of grass off my rug, I clogged my vacuum. But now that we have installed my guy's new artificial grass, I'm very glad we purchased it. In the bottom of the plastic tray, I placed puppy pads before covering them with artificial grass. The grass mat has pores for drainage, and urine flows to the pads through these holes. I aim to rinse down the tray and the artificial grass approximately once a week, and I replace the pads every day to every other day. It's ideal! And my dog prefers it to the real grass we previously had. His tiny feet are not harmed by its softness. He wants to lie on it since he likes it so much. So I still have a tiny bit of sunbathing space on the other side of the balcony. He's overjoyed!
