My hopes were exceeded by this tiny shed! This took me and an hour to put together without any trouble. The most difficult element was moving the big, heavy box close to where I wanted the shed to go. I was able to move my box by myself using a dolly in the appropriate location. As a homeowner, I am skilled with tools, but I'm no building expert!Since I built this on a flat concrete area around our pool, it is completely level and has a sturdy subfloor in my instance (other reviewers are concerned about the floor bending on soft ground, but not in my case). I must say that the engineering on this is superb, and the directions are maybe the easiest I've ever seen to follow. Despite the fact that the instructions do not advise it, I did gently "tap" the walls into place with a rubber mallet and found that to be really useful. I think it's worthwhile to get one especially for this assembly so you'll have it the next time you need it.There is no way for a label to peel off because each component was labeled (A, B, C...) when the models that were used to build each individual piece were poured. It is really simple to put together and quite strong if you follow the instructions. A large winter pool cover, a four-bike rack (massive, heavy), roughly six enormous flower pots (imagine miniature trees) nestled inside of one another, a few garden hoses, and a gasoline pressure washer are all currently housed in mine. There is still room for further items.On a 6' guy, the height of this shed is roughly rib height. It rises to just below my pool fence, so I'm crossing my fingers that my HOA won't object to the fact that I have a "shed," which is against our HOA's rules.The rear cargo area is easily accessible thanks to the slide-back top, which performs smoothly. It also has a very pleasing and unobtrusive appearance.The locking mechanism is this box's weak point. To use two padlocks to lock the roof to the doors and the doors to each other, it has holes molded into the roof and door handles that line up. They function perfectly, but a determined criminal may easily overcome them. The design issue is that the locking holes are in the door handles, which are only held on with two screws each and are thus easily removable with a crowbar. However, instead of buying a plastic box if you are worried about utilizing these in a high-theft region, you probably should go for a real wooden or metal shed. I do lock mine as a small deterrent because I don't think there will be any theft where this is kept.This "baby-shed," which is bigger than a deck box but smaller than a real shed, is incredibly nicely crafted.

On the opposite end of my backyard, I have another storage building, but it's about 20 years old, rusted, full of spider webs, and filled with items that haven't been touched in years.I was mostly looking for a shed to keep my new bikes when I made this purchase.I've looked at a lot of sheds from various brands, numbering in the dozens.The other ones, which promised to provide me the dimensions I needed, would have cost me hundreds of dollars (close to a grand).I'm a little short after spending a lot on the motorcycles and accessories. I double-checked that this shed had the very minimum dimensions needed to hold the bikes, and it did! I could have reduced space by folding the adult foldable bikes with 20" wheels, but there was enough area for me to keep them unfurled. After storing both of them, I still had room for a second adult-size bike and any additional equipment I might require, such as pumps, repair equipment, spare parts, helmets, etc.The guide also offers advice on the best foundations—concrete, wood floors, etc.—on which to erect the shed. The minimum specifications, the type of lock, and the maximum size (5/6" thick lock with a maximum length of 1.5" when opened) will be provided.Additionally, it provides the size and shape of the drywood that would be required if you wished to place a shelf inside, for which they have made a slot.

First off, stop browsing right now if you're looking for anything that can be put up outside or directly on the ground. You should not do this.Our condo association permits us to place one of these (or its smaller sibling) up against the wall at the conclusion of our reserved parking spaces in the garage. It has a level, weather-protected concrete floor. Simply used as extra storage for our condo, you know, for all the stuff you only use every few years or so. Smaller rubbish objects are placed in Banker's Boxes, which may hold up to 12 of them, while larger items are placed behind the BBs.Anything larger would be a waste because the plastic latch is simple to cut, and because our garage is secure, a small Barbie lock is all that we require.Simple to assemble (literally). Everything fits together easily. I see some reviews with one star. The ones with images plainly demonstrate how the floor is NOT correctly fastened to the back and sides. It operates as described if you put it together properly. We bought two, and it took us each around 30 minutes, including the time it took to cut the box into pieces that fit the recycle container. You really need two individuals because it is a little awkward. And unless you're Bruce Lee and can smash things together with your fist, you should carry a rubber mallet as advised. To place the doors, a screwdriver is also useful.If you don't have too high of expectations, it functions generally as expected.The delivery from Amazon was the finest part. The drivers wheeled the units up our elevator and right into our parking spaces after their logistics team scheduled a Saturday delivery time. Without a doubt, 5 star service.

Fits and functions perfectly with my roughneck shed. It would probably be helpful if Amazon's description said that it is only compatible with "roughneck" sheds, unless I am overlooking that information. (There are therefore many bad reviews.) Also, I quickly loaded it up with more than six common outdoor items despite the fact that it's plainly not intended to hang a washing machine. I can't yet speak to its durability, but so far, everything I've hung it on has seemed to work.

In order to store my Generac portable generator, which I use during storm power outages, I bought this shed as a "used-like-new" item. The only thing that gave it the appearance of being "used" was the unsealed carton that was taped shut; otherwise, it was whole and in good condition. My wife persuaded me to put it beneath the patio cover so that it would be shielded from the harsh Florida sun and weather.It was easy to assemble. Although the installation instructions for the Support Bracket J (step 21) were not particularly clear, we made the best assumption we could. Additionally, one of the metal Hinges BB's captive nut was not welded flat, making it impossible to fully screw in and seat the related screw. This error didn't appear to compromise the integrity of the assembly or the shed. The poor structure, along with these two problems, kept the rating from being five stars.As soon as the shed was put up, it seemed a little flimsy, so I added four 4 in. Simpson L-Brackets (from Home Depot) and fastened them to the interior rear corners using #8 stainless steel screws. To keep the joints of the two rear panels secure, I added a Simpson 6 in. Flat Mending Plate. In order to secure it and prevent it from moving about on the floor, I also put two 14 x 4-inch Tapcon concrete anchors and washers to the base. Each front door now has a metal handle since they require one. Where the lock hasp in the ceiling passes through a thin plastic hole into the right door, I bored a 34 inch hole in a smaller Simpson L-Bracket and bolted it to the top of the door for more security.I cut a wooden shelf to match the brackets molded into the interior walls of the shed so that it would fit my Generac GP6500 portable generator properly.Overall, I'm happy with this product and would advise others to buy it—especially if they want to use it as a generator enclosure.

Review of the resin shed, which is 8' wide by 6' deep.Positives: Easy setup. Simple to follow instructions, but you MUST pay close attention to the diagrams. As you go along, DON'T assume you know what you're doing. On that, have faith in me.On level ground that remained after I demolished my 10x7 metal structure, I built my shed. With over a foot of edge on both sides and plenty of space on the back of the shed, the grid of 7x5 16" bricks I lay down worked nicely. To put it mildly, the plastic floor is ROBUST, and I have complete faith in its capacity to withstand being traversed by heavy machinery. I read several reviews concerning how thin the wall was and how much of an impact it could withstand. Having had several metal shelters in the past, I am confident that this resin shed will be more resistant to side or tip penetration than any metal shed I have ever owned. My last metal shed was roughly six years ago, and my first one was in 1975. So far, I really appreciate everything about this shed. At 11:30 a.m., the shed arrived at the house. It was placed in my garage after which I opened the boxes and examined each component. There were a few minor nicks and scratches. It was a little strange unloading the boxes because they were placed on a pallet upside down, but I managed. After that, I sat with a cappuccino and read the assembly manual until 12:15. My fiance helped with the roof for about 20 minutes, but I completed the installation entirely on my own and by 4:30 in the afternoon. The installation was simple, I just made one mistake, and the pieces simply did not fit since I did it incorrectly. Just pay attention; I figured it out and kept going.CONS - There were no significant drawbacks, however I did experience difficulty getting the sides to slip into their receiving frames. They wouldn't sit properly because they kept bending or getting trapped. The side parts were able to slide into position without getting caught on an edge when I used a plastic putty knife to slide it up and down the panel edge.Delivery status messages from Pilot, who was my shipper, were fine up until the point where they said, "We'll notify you by phone 30-minutes before arrival" (a 3-hour window). The shed was waiting to be lowered down on a pallet jack when the doorbell rang while I was enjoying my morning coffee.I was requested to sign for receipt after I received the damaged boxes that were fastened to an enormous palette. A brief scan of the area revealed considerable damage, but hey—there are two 5–6 foot crates that weigh a decent amount—so they're going to get seriously scratched up.Overall: 5 stars for design, shipping, setup simplicity, and directions clarity. It assembled extremely easily in my level paver foundation with no alignment difficulties. I'm in my mid-60s and skilled in DIY. Outstanding design, assembled primarily by myself in a little over 4 hours. I assembled all of my metal sheds in a day and a half. I would suggest this shed to everyone.

It wasn't difficult to assemble the Keter Ace Resin Outdoor Storage Shed.If you have an electric screwdriver (or drill with a Phillips bit) and a long screwdriver, you can assemble this shed in under an hour with its six large sections and other attachments. If anything, the most of the time is spent installing the screws, making it a straightforward storage shed to assemble.It's a robust resin shed, and I was able to store a lot of the items I had in the garage. However, I'm still figuring out how to deal with my particular lawnmower.Hydraulic pistons hold the top cover in place for simple opening. The only tricky part is that you need a long Phillips screwdriver to install the piston's two rear screws, so keep one on hand.But this is what I'm curious about: how well will this hold up in the heat.In my neighborhood, summer temperatures range from 105 to 115 degrees Fahrenheit. We have extreme dry heat, not excessive humidity, and plastic bins and garden buckets have broken because of the heat. I hope that this is not the case and that the weatherproof and waterproof qualities continue to hold.I put this inside my patio area where it is shaded from the sun, but I really hope this storage shed holds up considering how hot it gets here in the summer.So, for now, I'll rate this as four stars. I would have given it five stars, but I want to wait until summer to see how it holds up.However, I do suggest it. Great storage capacity, simple to assemble. Absolutely worthwhile!

4 x 6 ft. Keter Factor Large Outdoor resin garden shed for storageI'm overjoyed with this storage building. The shippers were kind and professional, and the delivery was prompt and on schedule. The next day, March 10, 2017, I had it put in the smallest available space because the room is rather long but has a finite width, which was one of the reasons I went with Keter Factor. Excellent work was done by the installer, who had never installed this kind of shed before. The installer had a different idea, he actually built a base with treated 2" X 4"s and placed the plywood on top, just to be sure there would be no water problems if it rained, and for strength and stability. I have a very even brick backyard area in my condo, and Keter suggested that I place it on treated plywood. It has great strength. I was worried that the installer would show up by themselves because I had been informed it takes two. He set up stand-alone shelving units that I already possessed and put them in the storage container, finishing the job in three hours. I currently have additional applications for it after finishing my present project, but my current idea is to fill it with filing boxes and place them on shelves.The skylight's electric-lamp-like appearance and the amount of light that came through the window and skylight astounded the installation. I'm also in awe and overjoyed. Before completing the purchase, I called Keter numerous times for information, and they were quite nice and helpful. Even giving me advice after I supplied images of the area and explaining the advantages and disadvantages of the two shelters that would work in my space.Although I haven't yet put anything in the shed, I thoroughly examined it out of fear that the installer might have taken short cuts because he was working alone and so rapidly (this is because of some reviews of the shed I read previously).The roof appears to be very sturdy, and I was unable to move it at all. Since the shed is situated between my building and the extremely huge building next door and I do reside in Southern California, there may not be any wind-related issues.I had previously ordered a lean to but cancelled it when I read how challenging it was to construct and how fragile it was. I had been searching for a shed for many months that would fit in my peculiarly shaped location. I'm thrilled that I made the proper decision.

As a hen house, this shed works fantastically. We keep it in a completely enclosed 12 ft by 20 ft (about) enclosure that we call the coop. We previously kept chickens at a different residence, so we knew we wanted 5-8 hens, something simple to clean and maintain, and something we could walk into rather than crawl into or only have arm access to the interior. This filled the criteria. Most readymade and kit chicken houses are very little and a hassle to clean; consider this before purchasing one, even if it's adorable.The benefits of this are:It is reasonable simple to put together with a couple of people, has walk-in access for retrieving eggs or chickens, is hose down inside and out for easy cleaning, and is lightweight for easy movement if necessary (but might be a problem in extremely windy flat areas?) Pests love wood.When viewed from the outside, it appears to be a cute little gray "home" with enough space inside to store some roots, nesting boxes, and a few supplies.Cons: *Lightweight, which can be a problem for people in flat, breezy areas?It requires two people to put together, and if it's not placed in a shaded spot, it could get too hot inside.We have ours inside a sizable coop or enclosure that is in a safe, shaded area, so wind and sun aren't a big issue. We also removed the plastic floor and glass to expose the interior's raw ground and improve ventilation (we do a natural composting dirt method for our litter).
