In order to compare the "Classic" and "Dewitt" hand forks, I acquired them at the same time because I am a skilled gardener. This hand fork gets the job done at less than half the cost of the Dewitt despite not being as nice. Now, tell me, which will you notice I use more of? This hand fork is decent for the price and probably considerably superior to the weeding and cultivating equipment that the majority of "gardeners" (most of my clients' personal tools are CRAP) use nowadays. One thing bothers me, specifically the four ornamental groves on the handle. They gather damp soil and have no useful purpose. Clearly, the instrument was never intended to be used by the person who invented it.

It seems to be a high-quality product that, depending on use, could last 10–20 years. I would have chosen to purchase a less expensive item with a wooden handle if I had realised the fibreglass handle was hollow like a PVC pipe. I anticipated a sturdy handle and bend-resistant tines. When mistreated, like when roots are probed, I anticipate it to fail. My maul/axe has a fibreglass handle and is probably 35 years old. Considering how I'll use it, this spading fork won't survive very long.However, its lesser weight will be better up until the point when it breaks. The compromise between weight and strength may satisfy you.

The picture's fork is lime green, but the actual forks were dark green. I will now need to update the barn's drapes. I'm joking.Since I already had three broken forks lying around the barn and the shipping cost for three was just little higher than for one, I bought three of these at once. This is significant because only one of the damaged forks was really made by Dura Fork, and the mounting hardware for the other two (which must be reused) is incompatible with Dura Fork. I never would have considered looking for such a difference, so keep that in mind.Therefore, a trip to the hardware store was required, which may or may not be a good thing depending on your opinion of hardware stores. All went well for me.Additionally, the Dura Forks are fine. A happy journey.

To remove pine needles from a row of white pine trees I have beside my driveway, I bought this. These needles are used by my wife as mulch for plantings farther away from the house.This rake/shovel is excellent. For increased reach and to permit throwing the needles like hay, I added a long (6 ft) bamboo handle. I've only had it a short while, but so far it's fantastic. The bamboo handle is perfect for those thin pine needles. The time it took to gather those pine needles was halved. This head is practically weightless on a bamboo handle.

Simply a fantastic concept. This manure fork didn't immediately stand out to me as being unique. I didn't realise there was an additional reinforcement across the front teeth or tines until it was shipped from Amazon. That's good, I thought; it prevents them from shattering. Yes, I'm certain that is accurate, but what I really like about it is that it prevents bits of dung from being caught between the tines. You understand what I'm talking about if you clean stalls. Do I enjoy this product, then? Yes, five stars.
