An old WWII veteran who is a friend of ours. Although he has a flagpole in his yard, he chose not to fly his flag because it was challenging for him to travel outside at night to fetch the colors. He now flies Old Glory continuously after I put this light. He is pleased to see the flag flying in front of his house once more, even though the light is not as bright as I had hoped for (I have it on high). It features a hole in the center that is almost certainly a little bigger than half an inch in diameter. I attached a sizable plastic wall anchor to the top of his flagpole and a sizable bolt that was threaded through this light and into the anchor; it appears to be quite solid. You might need to improvise a little during installation, but you should be able to work something out.

Love, love, love this flag! For the Fourth of July, we hung them on our building. Throughout their whole stay up, people made remarks on their size.The only issue I have is that I ordered two identical flags but only got one with five top grommets and the other with three. I didn't buy these for the screws, and the quality of the mount itself more than makes up for the absence of high-quality screws, since the other reviewers also noted that the included screws and mounts are useless for the majority of mountings on the exterior of homes.Additionally, as mentioned, mounting it with a broad body power tool can be a little challenging due to the top holes' proximity to the body. I discovered that merely identifying the holes and pre-drilling them was sufficient (it also allowed me to fill them with sealant before mounting).The thumbscrew that secures the pole can be removed when installing the bracket, and in fact, it should be done because it makes mounting much simpler:-)

It was quite simple to install and started working right away. Not quite bright enough for my tastes, but I suppose it does make Old Glory visible at night, or at least half of her if it's windy. Will probably add a spotlight from below to complement.Images demonstrate how much of the flag actually receives light. Since the lights beam down, the flag receives greater attention when it is simply hanging. Only about half of the flag is lighted while it is being blown out by the wind. did not turn on until it was nearly pitch black.UPDATE: After owning this for some time, I raised my rating to 4. Early in the morning, as he was going for work, our neighbor remarked he had seen it and thought it was incredibly attractive. So, I suppose it is visible and sufficiently light to illuminate the flag. Additionally, there was a significant rainstorm with some hail, yet it had no influence on the light at all. Even after a cloudy day, the light is still turning on and continues to shine all night. Because it endured the rain and storm and shined all night, I will raise my rating from 3 to 4, despite the fact that I wish some of the lights were angled more outward to shine on the flag while it is in the flying position.

This flag pole goes above and beyond what I expected. It is a threaded connection; it does not clip together in the middle. The inner and outer shafts of the pole's upper half allow the entire pole to rotate, preventing the flag from tangling. The top clip spins both independently and with the shaft. This, in my opinion, will give the flag even more freedom without having to worry about tangling. The bottom clip fastens firmly to the revolving pole's outer section. Additionally, it may be adjusted up and down the shaft to accommodate flags of various sizes. A design that is simply amazing. A 3x5 flag was also ordered to go with it. A flag that was somewhat larger, perhaps by 2 inches or so, could fit inside.In a few big box stores, I was inspecting the flagpoles. They just seemed to be made too shoddily, and I couldn't bring myself to buy them. Additionally, I circled the neighborhood to rule out the use of any form of wooden pole. They all warp due to the heat and humidity in the south. Not the flag, the garden flag stand is the subject of my assessment. Two of the garden flag stands were on my order. Each neatly wrapped in its own box. Although I needed assistance with the clip that holds the flag in place, there was no instruction, and this does not in any way reflect poorly on the product itself or human ignorance. I appreciate that it also includes what I refer to as "flag end stoppers." secures the flag in position. On a windy day, the clip prevents the flag from riding up the pole. The pole hasn't shifted into a leaning position despite the wind tunnel I have next to my house. It is quite durable. I discovered that this seller's prices were less expensive than those of the major home décor chains. Highly suggested. Item is what was stated. Excellent value for the money.

These poles were recently upgraded from our previous model for strength and durability. they now include a mid-section ball joint so that the pole spins freely, and the flag never tangles.

have made multiple purchases of these flagpoles. However, you do get what you pay for. Excellent value. There can be variation in quality. The first one I purchased for my Navy flag cracked in the middle where the screws hold it together. It's constructed entirely of plastic. Had to replace, but fantastic value once more! The pole and mount were torn out of the facia board because it held up so well! Lol.!!!Caution!!!You can only lift this up if you avoid breaking the plastic screw cap that unites the two halves. Even in bad weather, it seems to perform quite well.

This one startled us in a good way. We examined them all, and in the end chose the less expensive stand because it seemed to have a better retainer for the flag position. It turned out that the small details were what caught our attention because the rest of this stand was identical to the more expensive one. This stand employs an excellent strong plastic tensioned clip that will last a long time and won't need to be replaced, unlike the more expensive stands that position the flag with a cheap rubber washer. The fact that it is quick to disassemble for storage and easy to assemble is the best of all. Overall, a good purchase. The cliche "you get what you pay for" does not applicable in this instance. We paid for the less expensive option and received a better item.
