These are fairly awesome little items to bring with you when you go camping or to a party. With blues, greens, purples, pinks, reds, yellows, and oranges, the colors are quite vibrant. For roughly 20 to 30 minutes, it transforms your fire into a rainbow, with the first 10-15 minutes being very eye-catching and the colors gradually fading after that. Each time I used them, I personally utilized 3 packets because it produced the outcomes I was looking for. I'm ready to wager that the number of colors you see will increase as you utilize more packets, and vice versa.Remember that these are chemical-filled packets, thus I would strongly advise against cooking over the fire once you have added these packets to it. Having a great time at our fire table. The one with the slate tile was what I had initially ordered, but for some strange reason, they don't ship to California. I therefore chose the "fake" tile top option for this one, which is acceptable. Beautiful copper glass! The item was delivered very fast, but when we spread out the parts and opened the package, we realized the bottom frame that holds the propane tank in place was missing. We contacted Blue Rhino right away, however their customer support department is closed on weekends. A real bummer! After verifying our order, they dispatched the new part after we called on Monday. Sadly, it took a week to get there. So, we put everything together two weekends later. We read everyone's evaluations and advice on the assembly and ignition BEFORE ASSEMBLY. To construct, it took two of us 30 minutes (having another person to help hold things in place made assembly go faster). The instructions don't make it clear that two of the legs are different, which was the FIRST USEFUL HINT. Turn the table top so the lighting switch is facing you while it is upside down on the cardboard packaging. Attach the leg with the magnet on the corner to your right, and the leg with the two protruding "holes" on the corner to your left. That advice helped us save a lot of time. READY THE LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS AND FOLLOW THEM IS THE SECOND USEFUL TIP. To light it, depress and spin the ignition/control knob for about 20 seconds, then HOLD IT FOR ANADD 20 SECONDS AFTER FLAMES APPEAR. If not, it won't remain illuminated. I would have given it five stars, but the ignition switch doesn't always work, so we just use a long hand-held igniter instead. Since we are close to the ocean, we are hopeful that it won't rust out too rapidly. Although the included cover is thin, it has so far served its purpose effectively. Overall, extremely satisfied and an excellent product at an even better bargain!

Although I was reasonably certain that I could find solutions to the assembly's issues after reading about them in some of the earlier reviews, it turned out that I had virtually "no" problems with it. The pre-drilled holes actually lined up so perfectly that I decided to replace the small #8-32 machine screws that were included with larger #10-32 machine screws. I don't understand why, but the #8-32 size screws that came with it were self-tapping screws, and they also came with #8-32 threaded lock-nuts to go with them. Anyway, the pre-drilled holes were the right size for a #10 size screw, so I chose to use those for increased strength. For about $26 on Amazon, I bought a bag of 50 stainless steel #10-32 machine screws and a pack of 100 stainless steel #10 lock-nuts to go with them. In case anyone is curious, this assembly requires 38 screws and 38 lock-nuts. I didn't mind spending a little bit more for the extra hardware because I can always use it.

I am in love with this; I received it as a present and am really thrilled. Although it took a little longer than anticipated, assembly didn't call for any specialized equipment or handling. JR can be a little difficult to ignite at first especially for anyone unfamiliar with the instructions.The number of rocks I received does not cover the base and exposes the rings but too much, in contrast to other locations I've seen in stores. My only desire was that it arrived with a few more rocks.The base contains leveling feet, which is a well-considered design that makes it simple to adjust if you have an uneven brick or rock surface in order to guarantee the unit is level.When the propane tank is full, the item is heavier and more stable, allowing you to put your feet up on it without worrying that you'll knock it over.The cover is also quite cheap; while putting it on, I accidently tore it at the sharp corners. Nylon or a more durable fabric should be used as the cover for this kind of device. However, as we reside in the Northwest, a cover is unquestionably needed to protect the unit.

I bought this fireplace with the intention of making some adjustments after reading a lot of reviews regarding other people's experiences. Here are the changes I made, which significantly raised the caliber of the final result.1. Switch out the wheels for steel ones, which won't melt. (http://www.amazon.com/Arnold-Steel-Wheel-lb-Load-Rating/dp/B000VO6SJC) Buy the Arnold 7" wheels and they fit well.2. Spray paint the inside of the lid, the interior of the bottom bowl, and the outside and inside of the screen with high-temperature paint. I chose black because it looked much nicer and let me identify where I had sprayed and had not.3. C-Clamps: The screen is simply supported by the bottom bowl, which is liable to move while in operation. Break off one portion of the screen so it fits at the bottom of the screen, then use 2 C-clamps (http://www.amazon.com/Tools-QUICK-GRIP-C-Clamp-4-inch-225104/dp/B0000CCXVT/) to secure it in place. Place the two directly across from one another, aside from the doors so you can still open them, across the bowl. This gives you comfort as well as making it simpler to move around while using a wheelchair. After installing these clamps, it is remarkably sturdy.4. Fill the bottom of the bowl with gravel. Gravel in larger chunks keeps the water colder longer than sand or cat litter.This fireplace will endure for a long time if you make these 3 adjustments and don't leave it outside in the rain.
