This is a very useful tool. This year, landscaping my backyard has been a significant undertaking and a pain. Tree roots are wherever I dig, and before I bought this shovel, I had already broken one and was working on a second. I would need a shovel, an axe, and a saw to dig before I could order this. I only use this shovel anymore. I use it to dig, hack, and pry; it is constructed like a tank. This item will slice through it before you realize what has happened, so make sure there is nothing in the ground underneath you don't want to ruin. Because this shovel has no mercy, wear safety shoes and pay attention to where your feet are before you completely cut off your toes. You shouldn't have any issues as long as you treat the shovel with respect. It is incredibly sharp, in contrast to the $56 shovel (Spear Head) I previously got that came with a warning that it was sharp only to discover that a butter knife used incorrectly is more deadly. Six red tip shrubs that had been planted for thirty years were pulled out of the ground with only this shovel after I pruned the branches with a chainsaw. It wasn't the easiest task, but if I hadn't had this shovel's strength in cutting and prying, I would have given up. To someone who values their time and appreciates tools made to last and not end up in a landfill, as so many things do in this age of everything being disposable, I would suggest this shovel.

Compared to a typical single size Klein nut driver, this item is substantially bigger. For the following reasons, I bought it:1) Bolts and nuts are held in place by magnetic or spring tips—a nice feature.2) More room in the toolbox or bag (replaces my 7 nut driver set)3) I thought it was a nice idea overall and was curious to see how it would function.I must admit that this tool's ergonomics are poor; it is simply too big for this kind of equipment. However, you really need to make sure you are OK with a very large handle and a heavy tool to use as a nut driver. I don't think it is a deal breaker (still give it 4 stars). Good quality is typical of Klein.When using the size it connects to, a little driver slides into the handle—a useful feature that prevents the tip from falling out. All of the bits are color coded, however a colorblind individual would find the thin color stripe difficult to see. The flats for attaching a wrench are quite large, and the grip is rubber like on other Klein drivers. In conclusion, a good compromise if you need to conserve space; otherwise, I would continue using the 7-piece set.

I initially got this spade to make borders for a dog run I'm putting along my fence using cedar chips. But I discovered that this bad boy is fantastic for everything that has to be excavated or sliced. I had a large, 35-foot-long by-6-foot-wide patch of ivy in my side yard. I'm not kidding; I used only this shovel to roll the entire thing into a ball then cut it down into one huge chunk. Even though I nearly passed out after swinging this thing around like a Viking warrior for three hours, it has become one of my favorite tools.This is the tool to use if you need to remove any branches, vines, or roots. It is a good weight—not too heavy or light—but just right. It reminds me of the story's well cooked oatmeal. Despite applying considerable torque to the handle, neither the shaft nor the handle have ever broken. The handle's single screw will eventually be replaced with a bolt, but for now, it's robust. Get one of these suckers for yourself as a favor. You won't be sorry.A picture of my front ivy was also included because it is how the rear ivy used to appear before this shovel laughed at it.

10/10 stars!!! The handle is substantially stronger than a wood handle of any brand, but it is not as stiff as my fiberglass of the Rigid brand. Other than that, everything is flawless. There is a distinct flex, similar to that of a tool with a wood handle. After one month of use, this item is doing well!It is roughly 61 long "all told! I need that length because I'm a large, tall guy. The blade measures 14" long, 6" wide, and 4.5" thick "the tool's end is broad. It is really lightweight, as other reviews may have noted. You have that flex because, in my opinion, the designers made a genuine effort to lighten the tool as much as feasible. Spade shovels are typically unpleasant to use in general and my first one feels much heavier, but not this one. On the other side, when pressing down on a damp day, my foot (large feet) has slipped off. It is ordinary to small in the "toe cleat" region. You don't go as deep before you can no longer press with your foot because the ground is in your way because the blade is shorter in length.Overall, a fantastic tool that I intend to add to my collection. You can actually go 8" to 12" down fairly quickly, which is great for gardening or sprinkler repair.

Excellent spade, just like the ones I used in England as a child. Digging in small spaces is doable and much less laborious with a smaller blade than a digging spade. Because they are used to seeing rusty-looking instruments even when they are brand-new, neighbours are astonished to witness the stainless steel's sparkle. I wish the plastic guard wasn't there. fit is good. replaced on a farm maintenance tool that is a 60 year antique railroad axe. After placing your head on the handle, tap it forcefully against the ground to secure your position. Repeat this a few times.

My favorite tool holder ever. never came across a finer one. There is no substitute for this if you need a tool bag that is orderly and pleasant to carry while also allowing you to hang the tools from a lift or a panel. can carry what you need but not every tool.
