I was unaware that it was from a lesser-known brand (which is fine some of my favorite products come from similar companies)Assembling: The assembly process was rather simple. Everything fit together smoothly. The difficulty in getting the side cushions to attach to the chair was the only drawback. To accomplish this, the manufacturing uses buttons. Snapping the buttons was really challenging. I wasn't sure they would all truly come together, but they did.ColorUndoubtedly, this color is dark grey. Darker than I anticipated.Comfort: The back cushioning is quite cozy. The cushioning on the sides, butt, and footstool is thick and almost foamy. It's not ideal, but it's not uncomfortable, in my opinion.I would rate this 3.5 stars overall. Due to how simple the assembly was, I will round up.

This chair fits me like a glove. Although the baby isn't here yet, I've actually dozed off in it twice while folding baby clothing and writing thank-you messages for the baby shower. Despite what some reviewers have said about the ottoman not gliding, I appreciate that I can use it as leverage to rock in the chair or as a surface to set items like clothing on while folding. The rocking/gliding motion is incredibly smooth (no noise or discomfort).The material is soft, appears sturdy, and is simple to clean, and the light grey color is a wonderful choice for a neutral.Since my husband and I are both 5'6", the chair back's height is ideal for us; you can comfortably lean your head back without putting undue strain on your neck. My concern with certain other seats was this. The chair appears a touch on the small side, but there is enough room for your arms to rest properly, and I don't feel cramped in it.It is quite heavy and tough to move around with the rocking/gliding mechanisms at the bottom because it is all assembled in the box when you are hauling it indoors or upstairs. But between my husband and I, we easily carried it upstairs.The chair and ottoman were completely wrapped in plastic throughout shipping, so they remained dry even though they arrived in a cardboard box and sat outside our garage on a very rainy day. Finally, shipping was speedy. Phew!

I've been using this stuff for a month now. I enjoy the item. It's a decent product for the price. It's not a big, fancy, or expensive rocker. However, a good product for people looking for something simple and affordable that works!!We have to tie the cushion at the back of the chair, and if we don't, the tie will slide down, and the cushion will follow. As a result, unless we correct it each time we sit down, the back side of the chair is always visible.

Such a great glider! We recently purchased another one after having one for two years and loving it. The second one has just arrived, and three snaps were damaged, making it impossible to attach the armrests. Sadly, it would appear that this is a fairly typical shipping issue. However, if you contact Stork Craft customer care, they would send you the replacements without charge. (10 to 14 days) Nicely done! If you need snaps or a new cushion, don't bother with Amazon; they'll just want you to send the entire chair back. Stork Craft's customer support hotline is 1-877-274-0277; if you get a busy signal, try again later. For the call, you will need the chair's model number, the year it was made, and the factory where it was made. These can be found behind the glider's seat; however, the assembly paper is NOT where you would find them because it contains insufficient information. Last but not least, remember to be polite to Stork Craft customer care; we want them to continue giving out components for free! Enjoy your glide!
