This transitional bedding for our young son's transfer from the crib to the toddler bed was exactly what we were looking for! Our 2.5-year-old son loves dinosaurs, so my husband and I bought him this bed set to celebrate his sleeping in a big boy bed. We wanted to make the transition as joyful for him as possible. He was soooo happy! He spent about an hour playing in his bed while pointing out the dinosaurs, shouting, and gushing about how much he adores them. The dinosaurs are the ideal middle ground between being too realistic or mean-looking and being too babyish.As some of the reviews claimed that the fabric ripped or the colors ran when cleaned, I was a little dubious. As a result, I made sure to wash everything on cold and tumble dry everything on medium heat before we constructed his bed for him to use. There was no harm to anything, and no colors ran. Additionally, it retained its color after being washed, just as it had when we first opened it.Not cotton, at all. I was personally unaffected by this and was aware of that when I bought it. It's still quite comfortable and fluffy. The comforter is not thick; in fact, it is pretty thin. However, despite these record-low winter days, we did not want a big blanket for our son because he sleeps like a furnace. What we were looking for is right here.It must be admitted that it has only been used for one weekend and washed once. After a few washes and several months of use, if my opinions on this product change in any way, I will most definitely update my review.For the time being, though, I, my husband, and most importantly, our son, all adore it.

Today, we set it up. We were seeking for something light but cozy because we reside in California and my toddler tends to sleep hot and sweaty. I was genuinely shocked that it was that soft, especially after washing. Our old toddler bedding was really worn out, didn't have any licensed character themes, and cost approximately the same. This was soft in an odd way. Bright hues and Thomas is certainly there! The photographs don't accurately depict how much more of a quilt it is than a comforter. The quilt is stitched all over, therefore the picture doesn't look as tidy as it does in the photos. It also doesn't appear to be as thick and warm as it does in the photographs, so if you live in a cold region, this bedding might not be suitable for you, at least not for winter bedding. But man, my son ADOREED it! He freaked out when he saw it, got into bed, and started kissing all of the Thomas images. The quilt is also enormous! However, I do believe it to be pretty pricey. It is not even twin bedding; it is toddler bedding.Additionally, as you can see, we maintained the old bedding's bumper. Due to all the bumping he does while sleeping, my toddler needs the padding.

This product is AMAZING.This was purchased for our approximately 4-year-old daughter to take to daycare.
