Best Baby Teether Toys in 2020

Nuby Silicone Teethe-EEZ Teether with Bristles, Includes Hygienic Case, Blue Review:

Nuby Teether is by far my favorite teething toy for my baby girl. I purchased this item when my baby was around 6 months old and started to sprout her first bottom tooth. She was fussing nightly, chewing on anything and everything including my face and herself, this was my lifesaver. This was my third teething purchases right after Comotomo Comotomo Silicone Baby Teether, Orange and Baby Banana Baby Banana Toothbrush, and my thought and comparisons are as below -

Nuby Teether -
PROS:
The container wins me over for this purchase. Cute, compact, looks expensive in its carrying case while cost about the same if not cheaper when compared to its competitor such as Comotomo. With this case, I never have to worry about storing this teether inside a ziplock bag or lugging around a clunky box for storage, the carrying case packaging is small, petite and little enough for me to throw into my purse when we are out on errands. This is a huge plus as far as taking one step ahead of the game in term of packaging.
Another plus for this item is the ergonomic design of the fish shape. The opening fits my little ones hand perfectly when she tries to grasp it at 6 months old, and it still fits her perfectly now that she’s 8 months. It is flat enough that she’s able to pass it from one hand to another without it dropping, and the grip is ultra comfy. The bristle curve is perfectly designed, dipping down on the center allows her to maneuver biting at one edge and slowly working her way to the other edge, a huge plus as far as mobility goes.
The main bristle area itself is super soft and flexible, it is hard enough to massage her gum, yet still gentle on her little teeth.
The teether is also sterilizer safe, which is great.

CONS:
There really are no negative comments I have on this item, but if I have to name one minor area for improvement it would be its ability to stay frozen longer. I often keep this teether inside the fridge before giving it to my little one, and I do find that it would turn room temperature instantly within a matter of 1 to 2 minutes. It would be great if this can stay cold for a longer time.

Comotomo Teether -
PROS:
This teether wins me over with its cool design, happy color, and my love for Comotomo products itself. Sterilizer safe, which is a huge plus. Aside from this, it does have a few areas in need of improvement.

CONS:
The grasping opening area is a little too large for my little baby’s hand. She will grab it with both hands and sometimes will still manage to drop it.
The four fingers (or the carrots as we would call them in our home) are not my favorite design feature in terms of functionality. I have noticed that when my baby sticks one end into her mouth for chewing, the other finger or fingers would be jabbing into her nose or other areas of her face. This is quite alarming as I can never give her this toy and step away for a minute knowing that she for sure won’t poke harm to herself. Another issue I have with these “carrots” is that after a prolonged period of chewing these, she will end up gagging and throw up all over herself, as this may have been too deep inside her mouth and causes a gag reflex and out goes all the feedings from the last 2 - 4 hours.
The last issue i have with this item is the silicone material itself. It is very hard in my opinion despite the “soft hygienic silicone” label.

Baby Banana Teether -
PROS:
This teether wins me over with its adorable design. Is my baby eating a banana or brushing her teeth? It is too adorable to walk away from the item so I had to buy myself one.
Sterilizer safe, which is another bonus.
The grasping point is perfect, my baby would hold this as a practice point of getting her used to the sippy cup handle. Huge plus.
Cute vibrant colors, very adorable design.

CONS:
The bristle head is too hard in comparison to that of Nuby’s Teether, and the banana head is once again too long. My baby would put the thing in her mouth and started gagging and throwing up.

Manhattan Toy Winkel Rattle & Sensory Teether Toy Review:

My little guy loves this toy.

When he was born I had it hanging above the changing table... not really on purpose, just as a place to store it. Well, he loved staring at it from day 2! Around 8 weeks he started to swing at it so I got it down for him. He couldn't officially grab it, but could stuck his hands through the loops (on accident probably) and move the toy to his face and try to bite it. Now at 16 weeks he grabs it off the floor next to him, passes it between his hands, "chews" on it, etc. He will play with it for 5 minutes without my intervention. It travels well as you can smash it down at it bounces back to full shape when you pull it out of the bag. We also throw it in the car seat with him for some easy entertainment with no worries that he will suffocate against it choke on it or anything.

The square block in the middle rattles quietly. I wish it was a bit louder, as the noise is so quiet that my little guy doesn't even to take notice of it. It is less "rattle" and more of just a ball toy.

My friend warned me NOT to put it in the dishwasher - she melted hers. I just wash it with hot soapy water... or sometimes clean it off with paci wipes if he drops it on the go.

I'll probably buy a toy lanyard for it so we can prevent drops on the go!

Baby Banana Brush Baby Banana Teething Toothbrush for Infants Review:

Was hesitant to purchase yet another teether for my 5 month old son. He’s has rejected every teether so far. But upon reading all the amazing reviews on Amazon about this Baby Banana Teether I decided to give it a shot. Well let me just tell you it was a instant hit! This teether is lhe perfect size and weight for babies to grasp and a bring to their mouth. The yellow color attracts their attention and many times my sons likes to gaze at his banana. The entire teether is made out of one material so babies can chew anywhere and receive the same benefits. The banana peels placement allows for a paci clip to be attached to the teether. No more dropping teethers and constantly cleaning them. Speaking of which this teether is dishwasher safe!!! 😮 The only negative that I can find is that lint, fuzz, and hair likes to cling to the banana. With that being said I would still repurchase and recommend this teether to all moms out there! If this review was helpful please click the helpful review box.

Infantino Good Bites Textured Carrot Teether Review:

This is a perfect teether! I had a lot of difficulty finding teething toys that were not a harder rough silicone/plastic but also not a flimsy silicone. The thickness of the carrot gives this teether a nice firm yet squishy texture that my daughter loves. It’s great to pop in the freezer or fridge on Days it seems her teeth are really nothing her. Since this is all one molded piece it is also super easy to clean which is super important on how often these get winged across the room when our daughter gets excited.

Bright Starts Grab and Spin Rattle Review:

My baby loves this toy! It is easy for him to pick up and shake - it does make a loud rattling sound - and he enjoys that! He also now plays with the little plastic rings and the spinner. This is is favorite rattle out of the bunch we have and he will spend a good 10-20 minutes entertained by it. This rattle is the perfect size to travel with, too. It is about 4 inches long and easy enough to slide into a diaper bag pocket. He started playing with it at about 2 1/2 months when he was learning to grip objects, although it was a tad heavy for him at that age, so he kept dropping it. Now he is 6 months and he just enjoys it so much!
The toy is very easy to clean - I just either wipe it clean or lather some soap and rinse it off in the sink. No need to lauder, like other posts mentioned. The only negative is I thought the teal grips were softer, but they are just plastic so my son doesn't like to teeth on it because it is too hard. Otherwise, wonderful toy!

Nuby Ice Gel Teether Keys Review:

I bought 2 of these for the 2 babies in my home daycare who are busy teething now. When they have finished chewing on them, I wash them off and put them in a ziplock bag in the fridge to keep them cool. The instructions say not to put them in a freezer.
The babies seem to like them, and when they are not chewing/sucking on them, they are banging them on surfaces to enjoy the noise they make too!
The colors are bright. The handle that holds the "keys" together, also has little bumps on it for teething babies to mouth. It also makes it easier for babies to grip.

Manhattan Toy Atom Rattle & Teether Grasping Activity Baby Toy Review:

Gave it as part of a gift to my 6 month old niece for Christmas. She spent a significant (for a 6 month old) amount of time with it multiple times that day and has continued to appear to enjoy it. I probably missed or overestimated the dimensions because I was a little surprised by how small it is, but then babies are small and my niece can handle the toy safely on her own (some of her other toys are too big for her to have full control over and it can be frustrating for her to be unable to lift them without assistance (especially since her adults do not seem to have fully developed the ability to know exactly what she wants them to do at any given moment))

RaZbaby RaZ-Berry Silicone Teether/Multi-Texture Design/Hands Free Design/Red Review:

The bumps on this teething pacifier are fun for my baby to chew on. He doesn't like to suck on the pacifier though, but does enjoy chewing on the bumps. My baby has never really enjoyed pacifiers, however, so if your baby does enjoy pacifiers they probably would really use this by sucking on it to allow the bumps to roll over their gums, in and out with each suck. This teether is a little larger in the nipple area than a regular pacifier, and is meant for older babies -- it might be tough for younger babies dealing with teething pain to keep the nipple in their mouth to gnaw or suck on.

The leaf design on the outer holster part of the pacifier is fun, with the raspberry design of the nipple part of the pacifier. Definitely helps with sore gums!
