My daughter's favorite teething toy by far is the Nuby Teether. When my baby was around 6 months old and beginning to erupt her first bottom tooth, I bought this item. This saved my life because she was always fussing at night and biting on herself and everything else, even my face. Following the Comotomo Comotomo Silicone Baby Teether, Orange, and Baby Banana Baby Banana Toothbrush, this was my third teething purchase. Here are my thoughts and comparisons:Nuby Teether - PROS: I like this purchase because of the container. Cute, little, and although costing roughly the same, if not less, as rivals like Comotomo, it appears expensive in its carrying case. With this case, I never have to worry about lugging around a bulky box for storage or storing this teether inside a ziplock bag; the carrying case packaging is compact, dainty, and tiny enough for me to throw into my purse when we are out running errands. As far as being one step ahead of the competition in terms of packaging, this is a tremendous positive.The ergonomic fish shape of this product is another benefit. When my infant first tries to grab it at 6 months old, the opening fits her hand wonderfully, and it still does at 8 months. She can move it from one hand to another without it dropping because it is flat enough, and the grip is quite comfortable. A major benefit in terms of movement is the bristle curve's flawless shape, which allows her to move by biting at one edge and gradually moving to the other.The major portion of the bristles is extremely flexible and soft; it is firm enough to massage her gums while remaining gentle on her little teeth.It's wonderful that the teether may safely be sterilized.There aren't really any cons to this product, but if I had to pick one small thing, I'd say its capacity to stay frozen for a little while longer. Before feeding it to my child, I frequently store this teether in the refrigerator, and I've noticed that it quickly becomes room temperature after about a minute or two. My young child adores this toy.I had it hanging above the changing table when he was born, just as a place to store it and not really on purpose. He did, however, like gazing at it right away! He began to swing at it at 8 weeks, so I took it down for him. Although he couldn't actually grip it, he could move the toy to his face and try to bite it if he accidentally put his hands through the loops. He now picks it up from the floor next to him, passes it between his hands, "chews" on it, etc. at the age of 16 weeks. Without my help, he will play with it for five minutes. It travels well because even if you shatter it, it will quickly resume its original shape after being removed from the bag. With no concern that he will choke on it or suffocate against it, we also place it in the backseat of the car with him for some simple entertainment.Quietly rattling is heard from the center square block. The noise is so quiet that my small guy doesn't even hear it; I wish it were a little louder. It is more of a simple ball toy than a "rattle."My friend forewarned me against doing so since she melted hers. I simply wash it with hot, soapy water, or if he drops it while I'm out and about, I'll occasionally wipe it down with paci wipes.For it, I'll probably get a toy lanyard so we can stop drips while we're out and about.

Was apprehensive to buy my 5-month-old son yet another teether. So far, he has turned down every teether. But after reading all the wonderful reviews about this Baby Banana Teether on Amazon, I made the decision to try it. Well, let me just say that it became popular right away! This teether is the ideal weight and size for infants to hold and put in their mouths. They are drawn to the yellow, and my son frequently enjoys staring at his banana. Because the entire teether is made of one substance, babies can gnaw on it anywhere and still benefit. The location of the banana peels enables the teether to be equipped with a paci clip. No more dropping and repeatedly cleaning teethers. Speaking of which, this teether can go in the dishwasher! The banana tends to attract hair, lint, and fuzz, which is the only drawback I can think of. Despite this, I would still buy this teether again and suggest it to all other mothers. This is the best teether ever! Finding teething toys that weren't flimsy silicone or firmer, abrasive silicone was quite difficult for me. My daughter enjoys the lovely firm yet squishy texture that the thickness of the carrot lends to this teether. When she looks to be doing nothing with her teeth, it's fantastic to throw anything in the fridge or freezer. Since everything is one molded piece, cleaning is also a breeze, which is crucial considering how frequently our daughter gets excited and flings things across the room.

My infant adores this item! It is simple for him to pick up and shake, and he likes the loud rattling sound it makes. He now also enjoys using the spinner and the tiny plastic rings. Out of all the rattles we have, this one is his favorite, and he will play with it for anywhere between 10 and 20 minutes. Additionally, this rattle is the ideal size for travel. It may easily fit into a pocket of a diaper bag because it is only approximately 4 inches long. It was a bit hefty for him at that age, so he kept dropping it when he first started playing with it at around 2 1/2 months when he was learning to handle objects. He is currently 6 months old and he really loves it so much!The toy is incredibly simple to clean; all I have to do is wipe it down or soap it up and rinse it in the sink. There's no need to praise, as in previous posts. The only drawback is that my son doesn't like to chew on it since it is very hard; I thought the teal grips were softer, but they are simply plastic. Other than that, great toy!

I gave it to my six-month-old niece as a Christmas present. That day, she played with it numerous times for lengths of time that were unusual for a six-month-old, and she still seems to appreciate it. My niece can safely handle the toy on her own, but some of her other toys are too big for her to have full control over, and it can be frustrating for her to be unable to lift them without assistance (especially since her adults do not seem to have fully developed the ability to know exactly what she wants them to do at any given moment) (I probably missed or overestimated the dimensions because I was a little surprised by how small it is).
