I bought two pairs of these to give my Pro Controller sticks more grip. As I was playing Smash Bros. Ultimate practice games, my thumb kept falling off. In contrast to other reviews, I haven't experienced any issues with the grips coming off the sticks after following the directions and making sure they're put correctly. I've only experienced one little problem so far. The grips' distinction between the skin and cqc versions is not clearly indicated (it is there, just hard to initially notice). The core of the cqc grip is surrounded by a raised surface in the shape of a circle. This raised area is not present on the skin grasp. Fortunately, I managed to apply my desired changes to the appropriate controllers. I've only ever noticed small rotational grip sliding, which is not a real issue. The fps versions haven't been tried by me yet. There aren't many first-person shooter games on Switch that I want to play, so maybe later.

I only use Kontrol Freeks on my PS4 because I adore them. They always provide amazing control and feel and have wonderful fit. The fit and feel of these for the switch are the same. The KF thumbsticks raise in front of other buttons and obstruct their use due to the layout of the min cons, which isn't really their fault. For some games that don't require much interaction with the /- buttons, it's not a big concern, but sadly the KFs are useless for me when playing Breath of the Wild. Simply put, they make it too challenging to utilize the controller as required. I don't want to be too critical because they still perform their intended functions very effectively, and also because it is not their fault that the switch controller's layout is how it is. So, I guess all you need to do is be aware of the controls your specific game requires. Like I said, these are excellent on their own and fit well. They are great if you don't need to reach past them.
