2Pcs Pack PS3 Controller Charger Charging Cable Sync Cord, 3M 10ft Mini USB Charge and Play Cable for PS Move/PS3/PS3 Slim Wireless Controller Review:

I tried these because my old charging wires were starting to wear out. First and foremost, the pricing is unbeatable. They perform flawlessly. identical to the original cords in quality. Because we don't have to sit on top of the television if we need to charge the controllers while playing, these 10' cords are, in my opinion, much preferable. An extra perk was that the vendor really got in touch with me to thank me for buying from them. The fact that a company took the time to do that and it wasn't just a routine purchase where you never hear back from anyone made me feel foolish, I know, but it was nice. For me, it's all about the simple things, I suppose!

HD Retrovision PlayStation 2/3 (PS2/PS3) Premium YPbPr Component Video Cable Review:

I purchased this cable since I had retrieved my old PS2 slim from storage to play Dragonquest 8 again. My ancient Vizio HDTV in 1080p has inputs for component, s-video, composite, RGB over vga, and HDMI. However, I have a PS3 that outputs 1080p over HDMI and can automatically upscale and post-process my Playstation 1 games. I've lately discovered that it has some troubles with 240p signals through component. The greatest picture for the analog 480i signal from the PS2 into my rusty old tv was what I sought out of this connection, and I got exactly what I wanted without the need for an expensive digital converter/upscaler. I was using an outdated multi-console composite/S-video connection from the days when this old PS2 was connected to a consumer crt to play Dragonquest 8 at the time. I was expanding the s-video stream to a slightly wider aspect ratio using the deinterlace function on my TV. It's adequate. Although s-video is superior to composite, I can't emphasize enough how awful this ancient combo cable is. s-video and composite video were improperly insulated and connected via a wire no thicker than my PS2's power cord, along with four corroded input connections. There is a mess. Even with the sharpness setting on my display at its highest level, the image was still muddy and had a distinct pop-in for objects far from the camera. In comparison to that previous configuration, this sleek, well-shielded component cable is a world apart. The colors are vivid and clear. Up until I turned it off, the automatic backlight adjustment was actually making the picture darker. The image is so fine that I need to slightly lower the sharpness settings in order to smooth out the jaggies that are interlaced from the wider aspect ratio. It almost feels too sharp. I checked the image using Dragonquest, and it's especially stunning when using the Godbird Soulstone to soar. I can now see far landscape gradually fading in like it should, with no longer any distance pop-in from the booming s-video. The little godbird shadow is distinct and distinct over the all-color terrain, and the environment and town elements appear to be extremely realistic from above. With some of the finely detailed objects, like grass, and quickly moving ones, like the bushwhacher leaping outside Tryan Gully, I was experiencing interlacing faults that I was unable to duplicate with the better resolution component signal. Some interlacing issues are present, such as when the PS2 logo appears on screen during the startup process. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is a fast-paced, busy 2D pixel game. I detected some deinterlacing issues with various effects, like Guile's sonic boom, and moderate screen tear in the opening character flyover, but it is all due to the deinterlacing function of my ancient TV.The polygonal visuals of Metal Gear Solid 3, Zone of the Enders 2, Soul Reaver 2, and a few more games look incredibly clean with no discernible interlace issues, according to my tests. The gameplay in Soul Reaver 2 looks equally as fantastic as the game's opening pre-rendered FMV. The Kojima games, particularly ZOE, include amazing-looking polygonal objects and fast-moving particle effects. There aren't any dithering or interlace artifacts that I can notice. Although I gave those a few quick play tests, Dragonquest 8 was the game I played the most and is one of the finest reasons to acquire this cable. Without an external digital upcaler, this Component connection is the best it can look on real hardware, and it looks fantastic. Unlike some of the other games I mentioned, it has never received an HD conversion to a newer console or PC.With this buy, I am quite happy. This cable would be an excellent analog source for me, even if I did utilize an external digital converter. I am pleased with the visual quality as it with my ancient 1080p vizio with legacy inputs. Although it's not incredibly cheap, the image quality is definitely worth the price. I researched purchasing pre-owned official, monster, and other premium third party cables from the time period, but they aren't really any less expensive. The HD Retrovision PS2/3 cable seems like an excellent option whether you're playing on a TV with legacy connections like me or searching for a high quality source feed for a digital upscaler.a warning that, if you're playing PS1 games, this might not be the best option for your display. Try as you might, you won't be able to play most PS1 games on your PS2 unless your display is capable of 240p over component. However, the built-in digital upscaling on the PS3 is a good choice for PS1 titles, and it definitely looks better than it would via the analog output and hardware emulation on the PS2, which is limited to 240p. Even the 240p high-resolution visuals on the PS3 include texture smoothing, and there is an option to stretch the aspect ratio or play in 4:3.I wholeheartedly recommend this connection if you simply want to output a high-quality analog feed from your PS2 so that your games appear as nice as they possibly can.

Wiresmith Standard RCA AV Composite Cable for Sony Playstation PS1 / PS2 / PS3 Review:

Since the moment I bought it, my PS1 has been emitting high-pitched noises through the AV out. It would become better or worse every time I changed the connector on the rear, but it would never completely go away. All of my issues were resolved as soon as I replaced the previous cable with this one, and the visual quality was noticeably improved. The extremely tight fit is the only issue I have with this cable. Make sure you have it the right way around before attempting to put it into the console because you truly have to force it in. (For me, the arrow was on top.) Although I usually deduct a rating for something like this, I believe this helped me fix some of my issues because the original cable was so flimsy and wiggled all the time. To anyone who is experiencing hissing or buzzing issues with their PS1, I would definitely recommend this.

Tomee S-Video AV Cable for PS3/ PS2/ PS1 Review:

I've only used a PlayStation 1 and 2.I tested these after receiving them for a while, and the results were inconsistent. On a PS2, it performed amazingly well. The audio is decent and the text is crisp and clear. It performed admirably for PS1 games as well, especially when using the smoother, and it performed admirably for titles like Red Dead Revolver, Metal Gear Solid 2, The Warriors, and others. The only drawback I saw when playing PS1 games on the PS2 was a faint checkerboard effect. On tiny monitors, you can't see it from a distance, but on larger ones, you might. Although not nearly as frequently as on PS1 games, the checkedboard pattern does occasionally appear on PS2 games. Now, when I tried it on a PS1, it behaved a little oddly. It ran smoothly for the first five minutes, but after that, the lettering on the screen began to shake a lot. Additionally, inserting the plug into the socket beneath the PS1 is somewhat difficult. I had to move it a little bit left and right, as you would ordinarily do with a key that won't go through a lock.A few days later, I bought a PS3 S-video cable with the Sony logo and tried it on my PS2.It performed incredibly nicely. When I put in a PS1 game, the checkerboard pattern was completely gone. However, it did give me the same effects when I tried it on a PS1, albeit not as frequently as it did with the third-party connection. I believe the port may be dusty, so I should probably wipe it out a little.Comparing these third-party cords to the Sony-branded cables, they weren't all that horrible. Since the Sony-branded cable fit into the PS1 far more easily than the third-party cable did, I believe I would like to use it.Would I suggest it?It's not a terrible option for a PS2, but bear in mind that occasionally you could detect a faint checkering that isn't particularly visible. On the other hand, I'm not sure about PS1. I'll wait to see the outcomes.

TNP PS3 Component AV Cable (6 Feet) Premium High Resolution HDTV Component RCA Audio Video Cable for Sony PlayStation 3 PS3 and PlayStation 2 PS2 Gaming Console [Playstation 3] Review:

Recently, the HDMI connector on one of my PS3 slims stopped working, so I looked into getting a replacement. I was told that it would be better to just buy a new PS3 instead of keeping my old one. I watched some tutorials on how I could do it myself, but it seemed like a big task. Given that the included composite cable for the PS3 produces such a terrible, low-resolution image, I figured I'd have to take that baby apart and run the risk of ruining everything.I found these cables online when looking for a replacement HDMI port. I put off finishing my project and bought these nasty guys simply to give them a try before melting away the solder. Although some claimed to output a 1080p image, I had my doubts. This cable just showed up. I was first satisfied with the product's quality. I had read that these were inexpensive, thin cables. Nope. They are sturdy and somewhat heavy. But I required functional cables.I connected my PS3 and looked at the TV's picture. Yes, the 480p resolution that the composite connection outputs was the problem. But then I recalled reading that in order to get 1080p on the PS3, you need to change the display settings. I altered the parameters, and sure enough, BAM! I was receiving an image that was identical to HDMI. Beautiful! I'm overjoyed that I don't have to attempt repair myself, search for another unscrupulous repairman, or purchase a brand-new system. My PS3 is working perfectly again and cost less than $13 to repair! As a backup, I'm currently placing an order for a second cable.Look no further if you discover that your PS3's HDMI input is broken—this is the answer to all your problems!

HDE Controller Adapter PlayStation 2 to USB for Sony PlayStation 3 and PC Converter Cable For Use With DualShock 2 PS2 Wired Controllers Review:

used in numerous emulators and video games, including Desmume, VisualBoy, PokeMMO, GTA V, etc. You must download X360ce, install it in the GTA V folder, and then launch the software to get it to work. DO NOTHING after the software has been launched. You can proceed by simply clicking save on the screen for the controller you've chosen and save the input file to the GTA V folder (x360ce should do this automatically). excellent for driving around, however you can't really shoot with it in GTA. I can't answer for wireless compatibility or with third-party controllers because I haven't tried this with anything other than the normal PS2 controller. EDIT: There are no issues using a wireless controller from a third party with this.It would be nice if the wire were longer, but it is only minor unless you're using it with a HTPC. The wire is only around 18 inches long. The adaptor itself is really lightweight. I've included images so you can see how far it extends from my Dell monitor, which has USB connections next to the DVI, DisplayPort, and VGA plugs.REMINDER: TO USE THE CONTROL STICKS, USE YOUR CONTROLLER WITH THE RED ANALOG LIGHT ON.EDIT: A commenter inquired about compatibility with Windows 10. Yes, I have successfully used it with Windows 7, 8, and 10.
