The Playstation 3 is still being sold by Sony as of 2019. It was first released in 2006 and was the company’s first console to use the Blu-ray Disc format. The PS3 was also the first console to offer online multiplayer gaming with the Playstation Network. Wired Gaming Controller, EasySMX PC Game Controller Joystick with Dual-Vibration Turbo and Trigger Buttons for Windows/Android/ PS3/ TV Box(Black) Review:

For casual players who enjoy games that are best played with controllers, this is the ideal purchase. A D-pad, two analog sticks, ABXY, a turbo button that can be customized, back, start, and an imitation Xbox button that appears to accomplish nothing but look nice make up this Xbox-style controller. Customizations can be made using Windows or the company's downloaded program; I didn't bother with the latter. I don't experience any of the sporadic connectivity mentioned in these reviews. There are only a few minor design or manufacturing problems, like the right analog stick's slight tilt to the right. The other buttons feel rather decent, not mushy and with the perfect resistance curves, and the analog sticks feel okay (not great). Remember that the cable isn't incredibly long. Additionally, only the top 2 of the 4 LEDs for multiplayer—which are quite bright, perhaps even too bright—ever seem to light up. Who, in the end, has a complaint for US$17? Overall, it performs admirably. Pay three times as much and get a controller directly from Microsoft if you want to modify it, apply a certain theme, have highly accurate analog controls, or do anything else. This is obvious for people with more practical requirements. Without it, Ori and the Blind Forest would not be the same.

2 Pack Wireless Bluetooth Vibration Controller PS3, Gamepad Remote Playstation 3 Charge Cable - Green Lightning Skull Models Review:

Recently got a new Raspberry Pie RetroArcade and picked these up in order to play games on it. The controller was perfectly connected and operates flawlessly! I only use the white one because it responds better and is looser; the green one is a little stiff. The likelihood is that it will become looser over time, but I'm not complaining. It still works well enough for me to play with my son or wife so I'm happy!I was hoping to able to use it with my old PS3 controller charging station but the design of the controller is just different enough to not able to use it. Doesn't detract from the use of the control at all though, but a heads up if you plan on using Sony accessories with these controllers.

VOYEE PS3 Controller Wireless - Rechargable Remote Control/Gamepad with Charging Cable for Sony Playstation 3 (Black) Review:

For my youngest son, I recently purchased this remote. He claims that because it is small and not thick, it suits his hands much more comfortably. simple to use Steering knobs and buttons are sufficiently close. Therefore, operating the controls while steering is simple. It includes a charging cable. It is extra long (not an adaptor), allowing you to play while it charges. You don't have to worry about the cable slipping out while playing because it fits into the remote extremely tightly. The wire is strong as well.He is quite happy. The remote is of excellent quality. With this transaction, everything worked out well, including the price. Given that youngsters are hard with game remotes, you can't go wrong with this. Will buy a second one as a backup or for guests that want to play.

PS3 Controller Wireless Dualshock 3 - OUBANG Best PS3 Remote Sixaxis Control Gamepad for Playstation 3 (Spark Blue) Review:

Even more promptly than expected in terms of delivery. They quickly powered up. Since I haven't used the batteries long enough to completely empty them, I can't really compare how long they last, but so far they have at least lasted several hours without recharging. Thus, battery life is at least respectable. The controllers are just what we needed, and it was simple and quick to ship. I'm happy with my buy.

PS3 Controller Wireless for Playstation 3 Dual shock (Pack of 2,Black and Black) Review:

These are adequate substitutes for casual games, but not so much for those that demand accuracy (FPS etc)The R3 feature on one of the controllers has trouble activating. It can only be activated by pressing down from directly above (R3 —>Forward to begin the sprint). The R3 button can be pressed from several positions with the OEM Sony controllers (Forward -> R3 to start sprint). Kind of irksome, especially if it's connected to sprinting (mainly). The other buttons are all functional and work as they should. The right analog stick on the second controller is INCREDIBLY sticky. There was no "gliding down the vistas," just herky jerky. The sensitivity of the in-game controller was adjusted to what I usually use. I was unable to use this controller to aim down the sights. The controller may become "looser" with use, however it is currently unusable for me. The other buttons operate and work well.Maybe I got two mediocre items? IDKThis is a wonderful deal if you need extra controllers for friends and casual gaming at a price of around $25.If you play first-person shooters a lot, I recommend spending some extra money on an OEM Sony. For around $20, GameStop offers used PS3 controllers, but they can also have problems.

Bek Design Wireless Controller for Playstation 3 PS3 (Blue) Review:

Since Sony no longer manufactures PS3s, the cost of a Sony-branded PS3 controller will run you $90. The alternative is to purchase a third-party controller, such as this one. I've previously purchased 3 or 4 others, all of which were terrible. Either the buttons were too light, or if you don't push any buttons at all, the controller always presses left, which is really annoying in many games where accuracy is crucial.Since the four controllers I have are all bad, I decided to try another brank. I was in love as soon as I got this one. The weight is ideal and serves as a reliable controller. Although the design differs significantly from a Sony controller, you quickly get used to it and discover this controller is ideal. Two of my other controllers have already been thrown away, and I intend to purchase more of them. I only gave ease of use a four star rating because the Sony controller feels somewhat more authentic.

Ps3 Controller Wireless Controller with Charger Cable - 2 Pack Dual Vibration ( Blue and Black - Compatible with Playstation 3 PS3 ) by IHK Review:

I am really pleased with the quality of these controllers; although the original is slightly superior, they function and feel just like it. These controllers are far superior to any non-Sony controllers and are just as good as Sonys for the price. They also perform as they should and are much more comfortable than the last controller I purchased. I love the fact that you get 2 controllers, and the blue controller is wonderful and the black controller is too, but my favorite color is blue. I will give an update later on how they hold up when I use them more, but as of right now I strongly recommend these controllers.

Game Controller for PS3 - Wireless Dual Vibration 3 KLNO Sixaxis Gamepad, Best Gifts for Kids, Son and Father in Family Playing with USB Charger Cable, for Sony Playstation 3 (Black) Review:

The finest third-party controller I have used to date is the KLNO PS3 controller. Being around $20 (at the time of this review) and having all of its buttons from being functional to actually fairly acceptable standards, it does extremely well in terms of price to performance. The d-pad isn't as nice as standard PS3 ones, but it's still a legitimate dpad that you can use on the fly and rely on. The shape buttons all feel good and like they will last quite a while with no lag noticed, even while playing at a distance of more than 12 feet from the console. To my surprise, I actually kind of enjoy the analog sticks. I've tried a lot of PS3 controllers so far, and these have been my favorites because I'm quite particular about how stick or fragile analog sticks seem to be. It depends on who uses them, but I thought these were excellent. The controller's triggers were definitely my least favorite component because they seemed to tremble slightly as I gripped them. The bumpers are likely to break first if anything on this controller is going to malfunction. They feel the mushiest of all the buttons and shake around excessively. Despite the fact that they are not at all awful, I am concerned about how long they will last. I can live with the Start and Select buttons being weak because they are made entirely of rubber and won't break. They also kind of move about. The battery life is the last item I'll mention. I confirmed it is approximately 6 to 8 hours by binge-playing Tales of Xillia, and I didn't observe any performance concerns during that time.In conclusion, this will work just well if you need a reliable controller with a good grip and satisfying buttons.

CHENGDAO PS3 Controller Wireless 2 Pack Double Shock Gamepad for Playstation 3 Remote,Sixaxis Wireless PS3 Controller with Charging Cable (Skull + Galaxy) Review:

purchased these to replace the dead controller.Feel: These lack the weight and tactile quality of Sony controllers. They feel less substantial and lighter.Controls: I've been using them for a few days (I'll update later), and so far they're working wonderfully. Good response times. No noticeable lag or skipping.Connecting: It took a moment to resolve this. Consider charging them up first before attempting. Once charged, initiate initial contact, assign controller numbers, and do other tasks using the wire. Restart just to be safe. Also, confirm that everything is connected.Battery: They were used for around 4 hours nonstop on the first day after a full charge. Afterward, I went to charge them, and they still displayed 4 dots (near full charge). Will they continue to remain that way for the next few weeks? Will the battery life remain reliable.Largest complaint: The sensation. They are lighter and less substantial, as was mentioned. They have a hollow, synthetic feeling. The cost and battery life are currently the biggest pluses.Overall, they are effective. That's what you want, isn't it?

PS3 Controller 2 Pack Wireless 6-axis Dual Shock Gaming Controller for Sony Playstation 3 with Charging Cord (PS3 Controller 2 Pack, Black) Review:

I enjoy this controller, myself. It's excellent, but I only have more than a month to possess it. On it, everything functions, and a lengthy rope is produced. I was just let down by the rubber rocker fixture's color, which was a poor fit for the controller. Maybe it's just black or a blue like a controller? In any case, I believe it's worthwhile!
