I'll admit it, I'm a perfectionist. I have a vintage automobile with two locations where the leather had tears that were driving me insane. One, on the door, had bothered me ever since the automobile was restored between 1986 and 1988. The other, on the sill next to the driver's seat, was caused by my own negligence when I recently got out of the car and cut a gouge with my watch.I looked on Amazon for a leather repair kit that would suit my needs, and the Fortivo Leather Repair Kit was what I discovered. My expectations were exceeded by this item.After two tries, I finally succeeded on the second mixing and application. I created my ideal "suede green" by combining equal parts blue and yellow with a small amount of black; the hue matched the car's interior perfectly. Noting that I was concerned I would mess up the job, you may easily remove the product with isopropyl alcohol and give it another shot. That, in my opinion, is a really crucial aspect to mention.Because the product slightly shrinks after drying, I used a second application to fill in the "gaps" after about an hour. It's a good thing that the lotion dries quickly—within a few hours. Additionally, as stated in the instructions, it dries a little bit darker, but since my mixture was a tiny bit on the light side, the outcome was almost an exact match. I'm a perfectionist, as I've already stated, and even with magnifying glasses, I hardly noticed a change.After the recommended 24 hours, I followed Fortivo's video instructions and applied some alcohol to the provided cloth, which has a pattern resembling 3D leather. I then crushed the "shiny" fix into the area. In the end, the "shine" was removed, and the repair was merged with the leather. I believe I get it.After a week, I gave the repairs some "Connolly's Hyde Food" (an English leather conditioner), and the outcome beyond my expectations.I've included some images. For a proper portrayal of color match, both flash and ambient light were used when taking the pictures.Please take note that I accepted Fortivo's offer of assistance with color matching. Sam responded to my email to them at the provided address with advice the next day. This seller offers the best value for the money when compared to the other sellers I've found so far. Getting 400 for less than $10 is already a bonus because I've seen some stores sell these tiny packs of fifty for almost $10 (where I live; other locations may be different). Despite never having used rivets before, my combat jacket's installation of these was really simple. They have held up so far and have a great colour. This is exactly what I needed to begin a few quick leather crafts. Cheap, but I now have the materials (tools and thread) to start creating several little carving knife coverings. Although there are more expensive equipment and materials available, this kit provides less expensive stuff so that I can actually complete the task at hand, see how it turns out, and then determine whether or not I want to invest much more in leather working. The two leather patches, which are approximately 5 x 3 and 10 x 8, were the same colour and original material appearance as my leather La-Z-Boy. I can tell most users of the product that they should expect a far more aggressive adhesive material than what they actually receive. If you have "E-6000" clear adhesive, which is sold at Walmart and fabric stores, it's not a deal breaker. If used properly, it comes in a tube like toothpaste and will never fail ( be careful about it oozing from around the edges). Use the patch as is initially, if possible.

Recently, I purchased a handcrafted leather belt, however I would have preferred a smoother finish. The end was swiftly and fully smoothed out using this tool and a small amount of water. Although I had ordered more tools and goods, I didn't end up requiring them.
