Very accurate, and with a little skill, far better to use than scissors or a box cutter—scissors hack rather than cut, and a box cutter needs a new blade and should not be kept around children. To be clear, I wouldn't give this to a child, and the only time I've ever "cut" myself with it was in a very minor paper-cutting fashion.Why do you desire this, then? For the simple reason that this is the BEST tool for opening boxes from Amazon or your preferred online merchant. The "blade" quickly slices through cardboard and tape. You won't be able to harm the delicate box contents as easily because it isn't actually a blade—imagine tiny fangs instead. I can walk in the door with a box, set my keys down, take a tool, and open the box just next to where I put my keys down. If not, why? because, you know, boxes need to be broken down? Yep. akin to butter.This may be my new go-to token gift that I give to people just to see their faces light up with gratitude when they open it. I looked everywhere I could find for replacement blades for my fiskers paper trimmer. I gave up and purchased a new trimmer in the end. When I decided to check Amazon, the old one was just about to be thrown out when I noticed that they had replacement blades. I should have come here first and looked! My old paper trimmer is now operating as well as new because the blades are a straight replacement for the originals. I've posted a photo of my paper trimmer, but I don't know the model because the maker didn't think it necessary to stamp a model number on the tool (only a patent number), and the paperwork has long since vanished. I hope it is useful to anybody looking for blades for a trimmer similar to mine.

Before buying these #11 blades, that was the only thought that entered my head. They cut just as effectively and have the same appearance as other #11 X-acto knife blades. The tiny container they arrive in serves as both a dispenser and a container to store the discarded blades after you're done. The overall design of the device is a touch shoddy, but that's not why most people will buy it. However, when I opened the package, the spring in the back of the plate holding the new knives (the part that serves as a dispenser) pushed the whole backing out, spreading the blades on the floor. I had some difficulty rigging the box to work again. Although everything happened a bit too quickly to pinpoint the exact cause, I believe I applied a little too much pressure to the box's back panel when removing the product. I wish it had been designed a little bit better after getting it to function once more. Although I appreciate the idea, I don't like having to fiddle with blades with my fingers for five minutes. The back end should be taped as soon as you get it. Without the packaging problem, five stars. a 4-star rating. For the paranoid, three stars. If you suffered knife trauma as a youngster, give the book a two-star rating. I bought the product primarily based on pricing and was happy with it, so I would suggest it.

A fantastic cutter that appears to be sharp and ready to use... Sadly, it won't fit in my paper cutter. I had no idea that the underside had ridges that would prevent it from fitting on my Fiskars paper cutter because there were no side views. When I try to return it, however, it claims that returns are not permitted for this item.The bottom thing is that it appears to function well assuming it fits your paper cutter. Make sure it fits before you purchase, though.Hopefully, my photos will prevent someone else from going through the same situation in the future.

I had to find a replacement for a GBC SmartCut A510pro (Blue/Gray), but I was a little unsure that it would fit because the manufacturer converted to Swingline (Green/Dark Gray).
