Good'N'Fun Triple Flavored Rawhide Kabobs for Dogs Review:

These treats are wonderfully adored by my dog. He is unusually finicky for a rescue, and I have a "graveyard" of treats I thought he may like but in fact hates. These are one of only two goodies he will currently consume. However, he destroys them in ten minutes, which means that he uses up a bag quite quickly. Again, for some reason, he wouldn't touch them, so I tried to acquire the bigger size so they would last longer. They are, incidentally, half as expensive at Walmart.

DreamBone Twist Sticks, Rawhide-Free Chews For Dogs, With Real Chicken Review:

Now let's move on. The headline represents MY perspective, and here's why. When rawhide reaches the point where it is no longer "chew-able," I've seen dogs eventually swallow it and experience issues. These occurrences involved younger dogs; I think it might be worse with older dogs, but that's just my opinion. Constant gasping-type movements as they struggle to get the chunk down into their stomachs, occasionally leading to a constipation-type scenarioThese Sticks have a very wonderful aroma when I open them, thus I give the "Flavor" rating a 5 because I think they taste fairly well (no, I'm not going to try them! *chuckle*). Since my Chihuahua weighs just 6 pounds in total, I marked the sticks with "cut marks" so I could break off smaller pieces when I wanted to reward him. However, KNOW THIS - if you don't COMPLETELY RESeal the bag, the treats will quickly get hard or stale. The dog has no issues, but the "freshness" has seemingly disappeared. Therefore, whether they are soft or hard or stale, these are much better for my dog since, IF they even grow to the size of a "gulp-able piece" like rawhide, they will "digest/dissolve."

Dingo Twist Sticks Rawhide Chews, Made With Real Chicken Review:

I purchased these in the hopes that the statement on Dingo's website that "Our rawhide chews are produced in South America, China, Cambodia, and Vietnam in Global Food Safety Institute compliant facilities" actually meant something, despite the melamine and other pet food scandals involving Chinese pet products. I'm hoping it's adequate. I am unable to locate anything made in the USA from American rawhide. The dogs naturally adore them, except from that worry. Although the sticks are slightly smaller than the ones I purchase at the supermarket, overall, the price per ounce is superior to the supermarket brand, and the price per stick is unquestionably lower.Update: According to the vet, the dog who consumed the most of these now has liver issues that were probably brought on by some form of poisoning. I stopped the twist sticks totally because those are the only things he ever consumes besides IAMS. Since he only receives blood tests on occasion, we are unsure of how long the issue has existed. His blood tests, which are being done biweekly, are currently a little bit better, but it will be weeks before we can tell if they are continuously getting better. I'm not making any claims that these goodies have anything to do with the liver problem; neither does the vet. Just sharing my own experience and our choice to stop using anything synthetic or colored.

Good'N'Fun Triple Flavored Rawhide Kabobs For Dogs, 12 Oz Review:

What else is there to say? Every dog I have ever encountered goes absolutely crazy about these bones. (Even my cat watches while my larger dog chews and attempts to snag any parts that come off!)But these bones are a TREAT. The three chunks are soft, meaty, and excellent despite being thin and little. One of these nasty guys can be finished by even my tiny dog in a few minutes. Do not purchase these with the expectation that your dog will be entertained for hours. They'll be gone in a matter of minutes, I say!But they are a wonderful treat. Similar to how I occasionally reward good conduct with tiny rewards (such as tricks), I occasionally reward good behavior with these Good N' Funs after a lengthier, stressful activity (such as a bath, a trip to the vet or groomer, etc.).SECURITY: I can't comment to their safety for extremely large dogs, but for small to medium-sized or larger dogs, I personally have never seen any issues or seen the bones end in a section that is awkward or potentially harmful. These bones are a high-end luxury, which is why they are so pricey. They are reserved for exceptional events. I was happy to discover them on Amazon! Since I've never located the larger bags locally, they are at least marginally more affordable than any stores I've visited. I haven't yet experienced any issues with mold, expired products, damaged goods while shipping, or anything else. Ordering edible dog goods on Amazon can be dangerous, but in my experience, this one has been a safe bet.

Redbarn Pet Products Naturals Bully Slices, 9.0Oz. Review:

Regarding Red Barn Naturals Bully Slices Joint Formula:Although I adore Amazon, occasionally the product descriptions are inaccurate. As a result of the product's outdated image, lack of an ingredient list in the description, and incorrect weight, I'll fill in the gaps here until Amazon posts an official update:Instead of 13.6 oz, the current box is 9 oz. The bigger package is no longer available from Red Barn.Although they are slices of cow ears coated with a gooey mixture known as "Bully Stick Coating," these "Bully Slices" are truly slices of cow ears.Ingredients: Cow Ear, Liver, Egg Whites, Beef Pizzle, Chicken Cartilage, Fructose, Caramel Color, Fish Oil, Chicken Fat with Mixed Tocopherols, Blueberry Powder, Grape Seed Oil (taken directly from the current package). The current package features a "Made in USA" logo on both the front and back. (This does not imply that all of the components are American; but, based on their website, Red Barn appears to get its animal products from American or South American "free range, grass fed" animal ranches.)Aside: The term "pizzle" originally referred to p*nis. (And sure, bully sticks and beef pizzle are made from dried bull p*nis.) However, doesn't pizzle sound like a modern slang term for what it actually means in hip-hop and rap?Now let's get back to the product and a review:These treats are so beloved by my dogs that they lick each other's snouts after finishing them. While the other ingredients are acceptable, I'm not a fan of the fact that they contain fructose and coloring. Although the individual pieces vary in thickness and length, they are all generally rectangular in shape. As you might anticipate with a combination of cow ear, fish oil, pizzle, and cartilage, they DO have a strong smell. The coating is greasy and frequently adheres to your fingertips (and your dogs snout, and to carpet.) You should wash your hands immediately after handling. You can actually follow the instructions on the packaging. Snouts and carpet are taken care of by the dogs.Although the substances in the coating are "appropriate" for that purpose, I'm not sure these are fantastic for "joint support." However, given the fructose in the coating and its stickiness, they definitely don't help with dog breath. I also wonder about the impact on dental health, but as a daily or less often treat, it's probably okay. Finally, Amazon appears to always have the lowest pricing if you and your dogs enjoy these.

DreamSticks Rawhide Free Vegetable Chew, Chicken, Beef Bacon & Cheese Review:

First of all, these chews are little. HUGELY SMALLER than in the image. ideal for extra-tiny or toy dogs. Other than that, anticipate it leaving in five minutes. After they've purchased them, I see all these individuals moaning about the ingredients or other things. The text and the images both include a complete list of the ingredients. You would have been smart enough to read the description if you cared that much about what you feed your dog. These sweets are not nutritious. Of course they contain corn and other undesirable fillers. Of course, they also contain artificial hues. THEY ACTUALLY ARE RED. You consider it to be normal?Gah. Please give me a break. However, dogs adore them. And at the end of the day, it is really all that matters. Don't continuously feed them these sweets. Give them premium dog food.then stop talking.

Good 'N' Fun Triple Flavor Twist Chews for Dogs Review:

I've been purchasing these treats for my two Shitzus for the past year or more since they absolutely adore them. They started experiencing diarrhea and uncomfortable stomach issues about two months ago. I've now discovered that they had problems on the days I gave them more than one stick.Update: Because my dogs adore them, I have resumed using them, but I am being more restrained about how many they receive daily. I spoke with the product producer and was reassured that these are wonderful treats but are only supposed to be "treats" given one or two per day. So far, there haven't been any stomach issues if I limit it to no more than 2 in a 24-hour period. I appreciate the manufacturer's response, and I now feel much better about the product.

Natural Farm 6-Inch Bully Sticks (20-Pack) All-Natural, Farm-Raised Beef Dog Treats | Odor-Free, Grain-Free | Fully Digestible Chews for Small, Medium, Large Breeds Review:

It takes them almost 15 minutes to completely chew one of the sticks. While they do have some odor, this brand of bully sticks is generally considered to have a mild odor. When we introduce something new to their diet, whether it be an item or a brand, we have to wait for about 12 hours to see if the new "thing" is going to turn Mr. Moo into a poo machine. Our older guy has a stomach like a new born baby; it doesn't take much to upset it and then we go into cycles of nervous diarrhea. Thank goodness these bully sticks didn't flip him over. He is doing well with them after using them for about 13 days. When my husband told me he had given him one one occasion, he accidentally gave him two (risks of having two individuals giving out sweets). Although I initially thought "OH BOY...here we go," even two in one day didn't make him feel sick. For us, it's a win-win situation! These are now our preferred bully sticks. The best pricing I've been able to locate so far is on Amazon.

Dingo Tartar and Breath Dental Sticks for All Dogs, Made with Chicken Dental Dog Chew Review:

The two dogs I own adore dingo sticks. They are an extremely high-value treat since they will do just about anything to get one. I've been utilizing them successfully for training even though I restrict their use. They quickly eat the dingo sticks once they are in their mouths. The vet usually comments that my dogs' teeth are clean and healthy, so they must be doing something right even though I can't say with certainty that they're better for their teeth than other products. Additionally, they are far less expensive and offer greater value than other canine dental supplies.Cons: Almost none. The main issue is that they don't improve how bad your dog's breath smells.Overall, these dental chews offer good value and can also be used to instruct your dogs, particularly if they regard them as high-value items.
