HDMI to VGA,QGeeM Gold-Plated HDMI to VGA Adapter (Male to Female) for Computer,Desktop,Laptop,PC,Monitor,Projector,HDTV, Chromebook,Raspberry Pi,Roku,Xbox and More(Black) Review:

I provide technical support for conferences. From time to time, some presenter shows up with a computer that does not have a VGA port, and sometimes the projector in the conference room ONLY has a VGA port. That causes consternation and running around in circles looking for a solution. This HDMI to VGA adapter is the solution. It will go in my toolbox for future conferences.

I tested it as follows: I used a monitor with a VGA port, connected to a VGA cable. I connected the other end of the VGA cable to this HDMI to VGA adapter, and connected the adapter's HDMI connector to a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter (since my computer does not have an HDMI port, but does have a DisplayPort). When I plugged the DisplayPort adapter into my computer, I quickly got an image on the VGA monitor. So... from computer (Windows 10) to DisplayPort to adapter to HDMI to adapter to VGA to monitor worked just as advertised.

I was able to test various resolutions from 800x600 to 1920x1080 (the maximum my monitor would do), and they worked just fine.

HDMI to VGA, Benfei Gold-Plated HDMI to VGA Adapter (Male to Female) Compatible for Computer, Desktop, Laptop, PC, Monitor, Projector, HDTV, Chromebook, Raspberry Pi, Roku, Xbox and More - Black Review:

I'm taking the hdmi out of the cable box, splitting it and sending one of the outputs through the Benfei HDMI to VGA Adapter to one of my computer monitors at my desk. This way I can watch the news or listen to music from the cable box while working. The picture quality is excellent and the HD looks great on the Dell 24" monitor. Audio is being fed from the cable box directly via RCA outputs to the computer audio which has a Logitech speaker system with subwoofer. There is no issue of lag or audio / video synch. In the end I have a great 24" HD TV and good audio at my computer desk for little cost. Money well spent.

VGA to HDMI Adapter Converter with Audio,(PC VGA Source Output to TV/Monitor with HDMI Connector),FOINNEX Active Male VGA in Female HDMI 1080p Video Dongle adaptador for Computer,Laptop,Projector Review:

Last year I purchased a new "Ultra" monitor for my desktop PC but despite months of trying could not get it working satisfactorily. PC had VGA, HDMI and USB out. Connected to HDMI but frustrated by no BIOS displayed at start up. No amount of web searching provided an answer but did reveal many, many people with same, unresolved, problem. I stumbled on a mention of this adapter by chance, and happily it was available thru Amazon. Arrived very rapidly and voila, BIOS display restored. `One minor minus: the screws to attach the unit to VGA port are difficult to turn as they are tucked into a small space, but a little perseverance got a firm grip. Small gadget, big help. Thanks.

Moread HDMI to VGA, Gold-Plated HDMI to VGA Adapter (Male to Female) for Computer, Desktop, Laptop, PC, Monitor, Projector, HDTV, Chromebook, Raspberry Pi, Roku, Xbox and More - Black Review:

I needed a quick and easy way to connect my ps3 to my computer monitor as I do not have a conventional TV. I saw this ad and purchased it, thinking it would be rather simple. After receiving the item I plugged everything in and got no signal or image out of my monitor; not even a "wake" signal to the monitor. However, if you seem to find yourself in a similar situation here's what you do: 1) while the ps3 is turned off, press and hold the power button until you hear two beeps (one after the initial press and one after around 10 seconds) 2) release the power button and wait. The monitor will now wake up and you will see dialogue from the ps3 saying a HDMI input has been identified and wants to know if you would like to use it 3) select "yes". At this point your monitor will go blank as if something has gone wrong. A message stating "frequency out of range" may pop up at this point from your monitor. 4) wait around 30 seconds and then you should see your ps3 menu pop up on the monitor as if like magic.
NOTE: the image you will see is 480p. This is the best you will get using this method due to the digital to analog conversion and wonky backwards approach. Also, if your screen is 4:3, the ps3 won't fill the entire screen in game due to the games running at 16:9, but this is normal for any monitor or screen of 4:3. I am definitely not saying to buy this for specific use for ps3, but it can be done if you find yourself in my position. Another note is that this is only for video. I bought the converter without the audio out because I use the ps3 component cable for sound. There is an option for this item with an audio out though when checking out.

UGREEN Active HDMI to VGA Adapter with 3.5mm Audio Jack HDMI Female to VGA Male Converter for TV Stick, Raspberry Pi, Laptop, PC, Tablet, Digital Camera, Etc Review:

The HDMI ports on my dumb (not Smart) TV stopped working. We don’t have cable and just used our Fire stick for streaming. Unfortunately you gotta have the HDMI ports to use the Fire stick. The TV repair man said it was probably the motherboard and it wouldn’t be worth fixing it. Before I took the TV to the dump I had the idea of finding an adapter to see if I could get the Fire stick working through the VGA port. I came across this product and got excited. It not only converts the video, but also sends the audio from the HDMI connection so you can use a 3.5mm headphone cable to get the audio through your TV internal speakers or stereo receiver. The package came fairly quick, and when I opened up I was very impressed with the packaging. I had everything plugged up within seconds and I seriously cannot be happier. Saved me hundreds of dollars now that I don’t have to buy a new TV. Thank you Ugreen!

VGA to HDMI, Onten 1080P VGA to HDMI Adapter (Male to Female) for Computer, Desktop, Laptop, PC, Monitor, Projector, HDTV with Audio Cable and USB Cable (Black) Review:

I had a second VGA port for a monitor on a Dell Optiplex, other was DP and works like a charm. needed an inexpensive second monitor, old one blew. So no new monitor has any VGA and at best an HDMI thus this choice. It is important to remember that this is an analog to digital conversion in the device. Thus you may not get what you had expected. The device needs power, I used the USB port. No power no monitor. Second, I have audio on a separate device so no to worry there. Set up was fast, it works. Hopefully it lasts.

The color is a bit weak and somehow the monitor is not recognized as a Dell. I suspect that this is due to the fact that this is a simplex connection, from VGA to HDMI. No way to get feedback to your PC to identify.

Again and an inexpensive backup, I use if for email tracking while on main screen. not bad. Colors are off, tried to adjust but I will noodle it a bit more.

Color control is a bit cumbersome. I tried to match color warmth and at times get screen blanking. But I will persevere.

I have switched to a USB3 to HDMI interface which is much better. Clarity is improved and there was an annoying screen blackouts with this unit that would happen often and for reasons unknown. If you have a USB3 port then use it, if VGA on an older computer this may be your only choice.

HONSHEN HDMI to VGA 1080P HDMI Male to VGA Female Video Converter Adapter Cable for PC Laptop HDTV Projectors and Other HDMI Input Devices Review:

I have an older model Benq LCD projector that I use to conduct professional workshops, and display lessons for school and church. It's a great projector but it operates with an older monitor cable; it doesn't have an HDMI port, but I have a newer laptop computer that doesn't take the older monitor cable. I didn't want to purchase another projector because I consider my projector one of the best ever made. So, I purchased the HDMI to VGA video converter/adapter cable to solve this problem. When I first used it, my projector gave an error message; however, after searching for the remedy online, I found out that all I needed to do was lower the resolution on my computer to make it work properly. The change in resolution worked, and now I don't have to look for an older laptop computer to make my projector work. The converter/adapter cable did the job!

Giveet 1080P VGA to HDMI Converter Adapter (Male to Female) for Computer, Desktop, Laptop, PC, Monitor, Projector, HDTV with Audio Cable and USB Cable (Aluminum Alloy) Review:

Used this cable to connect a computer's VGA output to a monitor with only HDMI or DP inputs. This was for a dual monitor set up and one monitor was already using the computer's only DP output. So I was able to make use of the VGA output by using this cable. At first, I connected the adapter to the computer, plugged in the HDMI to the adapter, and plugged the other end of the HDMI into the monitor. That did not work. Once I hooked up the included USB cable, one end to the adapter, the other to the computer (not monitor), in addition to what I had already done, it worked just fine (shown in pics). Only issue was changing the monitor settings to make the picture clearer. Overall, this cable did exactly what I needed it to. Both monitors are working as independent(expanded) displays.
