ITC-100HT Pint Ceramic Radiant Heat Reflection & Protective Refractory Coating Review:

Wow, these techniques actually work! It actually does reflect a lot of heat and serves its intended purpose. It's very impressive material, albeit after some use it might develop a small fracture someplace. The price is different, but I'd have to say that it more than justifies the money. To replace the Duraboard 3000, I can use less expensive board.

Ceramic Fiber Insulation Blanket Roll 24"x12"x1" (6# Density, 2300°F) Lowe Industrial: Premium Quality Ceramic Fiber Insulation Roll Perfect For Any High Temperature Environment! Review:

In my oven, I had to take off a temperature probe outlet. I had to cut a hole in the insulation to access the probe outlet because the rear of the outlet has insulation to prevent it from scorching the walls of my kitchen cabinet. This tiny roll of insulation is exactly what I needed to fill in the gap where I removed the probe since I needed a small bit of insulation to do so (I cut a small piece off the roll to fill in the hole I made). Even my self-cleaning oven can use it because of its extremely high temperature rating. Some small strips of this insulation will be perfect for dampening the tremor of a metal plate in a different self-cleaning oven I own.

HM&FC 1"x 24"x 31" Ceramic Fiber Insulation Blanket 2400F for QuadraFire Wood Stoves, & More. Review:

I purchased this to restore the specifications of our wood stove. works well for that and gives you almost enough for a second application (but not quite). There is no justification for rating this product less than 5 stars at this price point, yet it appears that a few individuals have done it nevertheless. The few complainers who gave it negative ratings did so because they couldn't get enough of this stuff in one order to line their forges. The dimensions of this material are, in fact, mentioned on the Amazon sales page. Is it the seller's or the product's responsibility if a few folks don't appear to be literate? Another possibility is that they lack basic tape measure proficiency. This material makes no claim to have been created especially for a "forge." It describes itself as a particular size of ceramic cloth that "can be employed" in a woodstove or forge. The customer must measure their specific application to determine how much they require.

CM-Ceramics 24" X 12" X 1" 2400 F Ceramic Fiber Insulation 8 Pound Morgan Ceramics and Knife USA Review:

My high temperature stainless steel chimney's little outside sheathing "Tee" component detached, and the insulation within had degraded and leaked out. I thought I would at least try to replace the insulation and repair the loose outer part of the "Tee" when I found NFPA codes required me to rebuild the complete chimney because the manufacturer was out of business and I couldn't just replace the "Tee" with a different brand. I put the part through a three-day fire of increasing heat after repair. I was impressed since the repaired part felt cold to the touch while my original pipe felt warm, even after turning on the catalytic combustor, which reached 1400 degrees. The one-inch blanket was simple to work with, cuts quickly with the provided knife, and can be lined up with regular felt-tip pens. I was able to save some money because the thickness fit exactly in the insulated section of my 8" GSW pipe.

AMACO Insulating FireBrick, 9 X 4-1/2 X 2-1/2 in Review:

I purchased 6 of these bricks to build a foundry. They arrived whole (with a little trimming off the corners), and they function perfectly. I cut them with a handsaw, only using 4 of the 6 for my needs. They have endured multiple sessions, each involving at least four hours of use, thanks to some satanite refractory mortar. I frequently reach temperatures beyond 2200 degrees, and once I even melted steel (2700 degrees). I'm happy with these and will eventually use more of them to build a forge.

Large Microwave Kiln for Glass Fusing Review:

I've been using this kiln nonstop since I got it since I really adore it. It does take longer than the tiny one; in fact, I've tried it in two separate microwaves. The first microwave is really ancient, and it takes 23 minutes on high to fuse. I don't even know what watts it has. The 17-minute cooking time in the other microwave is 1100 watts. I truly think it depends on your microwave, but everything turned out great and I would definitely recommend it. I hope this helps others.
