UPDATE: I've used these for a while and am still completely satisfied with them. I still pin some things, as I already indicated, but I also frequently use these. None of them have malfunctioned or broken, either. I purchased some for my MIL and also suggested them to others. *****Although I've only recently started sewing, I joined a Facebook group for new sewers where I kept seeing people using Wonder Clips and gushing about how wonderful they are. I wanted to try them because I absolutely detest pinning things, but name-brand products are very pricey for the quantity you receive. Before choosing these, I read a ton of Amazon reviews, and I'm satisfied with my choice. They can't, and I don't think they're truly intended to, totally replace pinning, but they work great for most projects. Making baby bibs has been difficult for me because the top piece is so narrow and the pins from one side stick you as you work on the other. These make it much easier. I have seen complaints about how difficult it is to access these clips and similar ones in a number of reviews, but I had no such issues. Although you do need to apply a little pressure, they are ideal for the purpose for which they were designed because they have a tight hold even on thin layers of fabric. These are, in my opinion, worthwhile to have if you sew given their pricing. Before opening them, I snapped a photo so you could see how they were packaged and the loose pins. I then just pinned some bias tape to some leftover fabric as a point of reference.

Since the price was so high, I was not expecting much. I made the last-minute decision to buy these on a lightning sale after reading the reviews, which were excellent and on par with the clips from well-known brands. I'm really glad I took a chance on these clips and went for it. In addition to their intended usage for cloth and stitching, I also use a lot of these for other crafts. They helped me bind pricey art paper together for crochet place cards without leaving any marks or indentations from the clips. I've used them as bookmarks in books and magazines as well as to apply pressure to craft projects that required adhesive. I keep some in my purse for unexpected situations. These were utilized by me to secure fairy string lights. To use mini magnets on the fridge to hold up recipes, other critical papers, and images, hang artwork up to dry. I have used these as "chip clips" to close chip bags, as well as for cookies and other foods like pancake mix. I used them so many different ways. Really, having them on hand is great. They are packaged in a charming metal tin with a handle. It is crammed with the clips. Actually, I prefer these over name-brand products. I spent around $15 on a set of six name-brand clips. Two are currently bankrupt. I ordered knees and used them for every possible purpose, but I still have a fairly full container. I haven't even broken one of them yet, so they will undoubtedly endure for a very long time. Although the plastic is a tiny bit thinner than the ones from name brands, I don't think it makes a difference. Undoubtedly, I'll purchase more of these, and I'm hoping to locate a larger size. I won't purchase any of these from the "big box" retail chains. I'll buy these with my money.

I cannot express how wonderful these quilters clips are enough! My previous pins were a REAL PROBLEM! The conventional pins, and I'm sure any seasoned crafter, quilter, or anybody who occasionally sews may relate, always ended up on the floor SOMEHOW? sticking people or simply being discovered everywhere in the carpet surrounding my workspace! These are almost exact replicas of the Clover ornaments that cost approximately $15 at the craft store (but you have a coupon for 40% off one item, right? :-D ). As opposed to the mini-clips used for basketry with the 1/8" tips, these are the general-purpose ones with a tip that is around 3/8" broad (https://www.amazon.com/Promisen-Colorful-Quilting-Plastic-Binding/dp/B075MCL4JC/ref=cm wl huc item). The container was the bunny-shaped one in the image, with the words "Eastertide" depicted in vignettes on either end (so: very seasonal, for better or worse). I've never used these before, but I'm using them now. They function admirably as I stitch. Only a few of them have I used repeatedly, but I see no reason why they won't all perform equally well. They weigh a little bit more than a pin, but sticking is far worse! Once my stuff is clipped together, moving it has never been an issue for me. If I don't lift it just a little bit at that precise moment, one will catch on my drop-in bobbin plate, and pins will too. When I free quilt on my machine, I'm certain I'll like utilizing them.

I purchased these to replace straight pins, and I'm pleased with them. They have a good grip on the cloth, are simple to squeeze open, and easily accommodate thicker fabric. The clips held a blanket I crocheted with a mink and a fur layer together without any problems.I didn't count them, but they are definitely 100 as claimed, and I used each one to clip my fabric, so I'm confident in their consistency in quality. My package was a reusable Ziploc-style pouch.However, remember that they are made of plastic and are not unbreakable when using them. If you put too much pressure on them, the plastic may easily crack or break.

This is not a sewing machine. I use it in place of paper and a bone folder. Excellent, leaves no traces. This doesn't leave stains on colored papers like bone folders do. I'm really glad I saw it and decided to try it. Yes, it is also useful for running over small stick-on lettering, and if a cut line is slightly curved, it will help to straighten it out.

I love pressing and am a quilter. A good quilt top can be made more readily with the aid of effective pressing. Additionally, a well pressed quilt top goes onto the longarm machine much more attractively and avoids folds while quilting. I'm constantly trying to improve how I push blocks. I tried a friend's tiny wool mat at a guild meeting and made the decision to spend money on a mat that would fit my ironing board. The pink binding in the picture was the first thing I pressed onto the mat. I was astonished by how sharp the binding turned out after using a DRY iron. Every day, people use the mat. The majority of the time, I press with a dry iron, however occasionally I'll use Mary Ellen's Best Press or dilute liquid starch. There was a very faint scent of wool the first couple of times. No longer is there any smell. I adore this mat to the fullest.

Our eyesight declines with age; my weakness is between the two tones of grey and green and black and navy.
