Stampin' Up! inks are a dye based ink. This means that the ink is absorbed by the paper and will fade over time if exposed to direct sunlight or other light sources.
You can use alcohol ink with stamps, but it can be difficult to get a consistent result. The ink can be unpredictable and may not adhere evenly to the stamp. If you are looking for a consistent result, it is best to use a stamping ink.
You can clean an ink pad by using a damp cloth. First, remove the ink pad from the stamp. Next, use the damp cloth to wipe away any ink on the surface of the ink pad. Finally, allow the ink pad to dry completely before reattaching it to the stamp.
You can use paint instead of ink for stamps, but it may not be as long-lasting.

This is the precise tool you need for heat embossing. Trust me! I purchased white ink believing I had done my homework. That was effective, but I still wasn't obtaining the desired aesthetic. I desired a clear picture. There was a lot of text on the invites I was designing for a wedding. This ink had a pleasant sticky sound while stamping, and it did not leak onto my cardstock. The thermal embossing benefited greatly from it.

I don't know why I waited this long to get one because I used to keep my alcohol inks in a basket, which made it difficult to keep all of the color families together. Although I still have some extras of some of the hues, my 30 bottle container is already full, so I assume I need to get another one. I have them organized by color, from light to dark, just like my ink pads, and I've done the same with the inks in the tin. Totally adore it!

This definitely works and dries quickly. I use it so I can stamp my brand on the back flap of the rigid picture mailers I use to sell art prints. My logo is very intricate and small print (about 7 pt size). They emerge clearly with no smearing. To be safe, I normally wait till they have dried for about a minute before handling them.I will add that the StazOn stamping pads behave differently from the typical stamping materials found in craft stores. They have a LOT of ink. Pushing your stamp into the sponge of the pad will result in an ink glob rather than an image. Just give it a quick kiss before giving the surface of what you are stamping a second kiss. You will blob out the details if you push down into either. Additionally, take great care to carefully replace the pad's plastic top and cover while not in use. When I forgot to keep the lid on one of my StazOn pads, it dried out in just one day (I've done the same with my other stamping pads, and it didn't seem to harm them).

I'm quite happy with these ink pads. They dry quickly and are the ideal size for use. There is a lot of variation in color (my daughter especially love the sparkly gold and silver). The ink itself is of excellent quality. They all function well and are each separately shrink-wrapped. The colors pop off the page brilliantly and are vivid. It would be nicer if it came with a container. I eventually located a container to put them in. It is simple to transport the 12 pads because they all properly fit within the box.

Purchased this package to aid in disassembling a Honda Accord in order to install a substantial radio.comes in very handy. When my fingers function so well, I really didn't think I'd want to stop working and pick up a new pry-tool every time I had a new panel, but since it was so inexpensive, I figured it may be useful. Wow sums it up.What usually requires several seconds of tugging, testing, and fingernail prying becomes a simple, scratch-free panel removal. I'm so happy that I'm attempting to change the way I do installations so that I always use the pry-tools rather than grabbing the panel and removing it.The plastic substance lives up to its reputation of being very durable and leaving no marks on panels.highly suggest for installers.

I purchased these to use in tutoring so I could decorate the papers for the students with fun stamps. I used a little stamp set to test it. Additionally, I used my finger to see if the ink was wet or not.(The stamps I used are incredibly little, like 1 cm by 1 cm. It's Kiki from Kiki's delivery service, if you can tell from the photo! One arrived damaged, but the ink was still functional. I taped it in the hopes that it may help.Rubber stamps and the color pink don't get along well; they can coexist, but the results are untidy.-Although they kind of work for stamping, I wouldn't recommend using gold and silver.Thankfully, none of my colors were dry! They all function.Small containers stack. makes it simple to keep them together. (View third image. To prevent the ink from drying out, I also store them in a plastic bag.)- The majority of inks produced sharp prints when used with rubber stamps. (Most, not every. Friends, keep your hands still.)

These stamps were bought to use on a canvas guest book for a baby shower, but they aren't drying. Although the colours are lovely and they have a nice appearance, when I touch a fingerprint to see whether it is dry, I still get ink on my fingers, even though I just took a shower two days ago. They don't want to stick to the primed canvas, I'm thinking. In order to see if the prints will be set, I intend to use a clear coat spray. Before using, make sure your media is compatible.

I needed ink after finding my box of vintage rubber stamps from the 1980s. The impending Christmas season made green and red the natural choice, but the cobalt ink pad attracted my attention. The envelope flap of the cards I'm mailing looks stunning in cobalt with my holiday stamp of an angel over the word PEACE. This ink is excellent and stamps clearly. Even though I'm only having a little fun with my old rubber stamps, the fact that the ink is actually archival is a benefit.

These movies were excellent for what I required. I needed something translucent that I could print a word picture on because I was building a shadow box for our pastor's family. Since my own printer isn't big enough, I used the bigger printer at the church. The printer left some markings on it, but when I printed it again, it was clean, indicating that there was only leftover ink on the printer's rollers and no evidence of the film. The transparencies fit wonderfully in my 12x12 frame and are true to scale. Under the transparency, I had a burlap backdrop that went perfectly with the black text I had printed on the film. Additionally, I placed tiny 1.5x1.5" images of the staff around the printed text, and these adhered to the transparency with double-sided tape without any issues. I want to discover a decent project to use the other pieces I have that I haven't yet used. The sheets seem strong and don't feel like they will readily tear or fracture, but they could definitely be easily cut down to a lesser size if necessary. My pastor and his wife are proudly displaying the frame in their home since they both adore it (and, I'm delighted to report, it made his wife weep).
No, you cannot use printer ink for stamp. Printer ink is not made to be used on skin and can be toxic if ingested.
To prevent your stamp ink from smearing, you can use a few different methods. One is to use a stamp pad that is made for use with water-based inks. Another is to use a clear embossing powder on your stamped images before you add color with markers or watercolors. You can also try spraying your stamped images with a fixative before coloring them.
You need a few supplies to make your own ink stamp pad, including a foam sheet, felt, sponge, and ink. Cut a piece of foam to the size of your desired stamp pad, then cut a piece of felt or sponge slightly smaller. Place the felt or sponge on top of the foam, then pour ink onto the felt or sponge. Use a stamp to make an impression on the ink, then let the ink dry.
To refresh your distress ink pads, start by applying a generous amount of ink to a scrap piece of paper. Once the ink is applied, use a brayer to roll the ink over the surface of your distress ink pad. Be sure to cover the entire surface of the pad. Allow the ink to dry for several hours or overnight. Once the ink is dry, your distress ink pad will be ready to use.
Distress Oxide ink pads are a popular choice for crafters, but how long do they last? The answer may surprise you – these ink pads can last for years with proper care! There are a few things you can use instead of ink pads when stamping. One is to use a small paintbrush to apply ink to your stamp. Another is to use a cotton ball or Q-tip to apply ink. You can also use a ink dauber, which is a small sponge on a handle that is made for applying ink to stamps.
