The back of the tag is as described, however the wording is misaligned and almost completely off the tag. I would upload an image of the text, but it contains my phone number. It's dropping off the lower left side of the tag and is, in my opinion, 15 degrees or more off center.I don't find it to be a deal breaker, and everything is still easily readable.The tag seems to be very sturdy. The etching or engraving is excellent. I initially assumed it was only printed on because it is so sharp. It wasn't until I took it out of the packing and ran my finger along it that I realized how sharp and edged it truly was. Additionally, the lettering is clear and dark.Considering the misaligned text on the reverse of the tag, I'm not sure if I would suggest it to others. Nevertheless, I'm not giving it back either.I should also mention how quickly everything was transported. It was marked as shipped the next morning and arrived a few days later. I believe it would have been worthwhile to wait an extra day or two for it to arrive so that the engraving could have undergone some quality control.

I've had this for my little Bear for six months now, and it's still in wonderful condition. The lettering is still present despite my first fears that it would scratch off or become unintelligible. Therefore, I believe it merits an increase to 4 stars for the price.—————————————————Don't anticipate anything of really high quality here for less than $4 including shipping because you really do get what you pay for.In light of this, I'm not sure how I want to offer my analysis of these dog tags. On the one hand, the paw print tag is very adorable, and it costs under $4 with engraving on the back. I suppose that's where the issue is. When something is this cheap (and there are no shipping fees, so that includes shipping), it cannot 'afford' to utilize excellent materials or procedures. What is, is what is. The product is incredibly adorable, lightweight, and there are no shipping fees, which is a benefit (it arrives in a regular sized envelope).The actual tag is made of thin stainless steel, which is ideal because it won't add much weight. The paw print pattern is adorable. The loop needed to attach it was included. On the back of the tag, there was plenty of place to write my name, phone number, the name of my dog, and the city and state (pictures below; I of course obscured my phone!). I now understand that I didn't require all the details; I guess I got carried away!But only a week into my dog "wearing" this tag, the black engraving is already fading or wiping off (photo below). I'm not too unhappy about it, but it just leaves the impression, which isn't necessarily a negative thing since I can still read it. I'll simply be concerned about if the engraving will fade, especially because it rubs against his "rabies tag."You definitely get what you pay for at this price, so if you're looking for a cheap pet tag or something temporary, this is a good option. I'll wait a few weeks to see how it holds up, and if the engraving becomes difficult to see or fades, I'll get something else and pay more for it. Since I'll probably want to do one with less information on the back:D and something a little smaller perhaps, I'll look at the firm and see if they have more of them but better quality ones - I'll cheerfully pay more for that.I don't regret making this purchase because I got something for the money that, if I change my mind and decide I want something else, costing around $4 including shipping didn't break the bank and allowed me to experiment with many options for dog tags.

To cut a long tale short, it took me a little while to get my order, but it was worth the wait.I emailed the vendor approximately a week after the anticipated delivery date because my initial item never arrived.Sean responded quickly and sent the second one without any further fees or delays. It happened around three days after I spoke with him.The tag on the red paws I ordered is clearly visible. Although the paw pattern is adorable, I believe bones would have been a better option.The amount of communication and customer service exceeded my expectations. If I had gotten my order the first time, everything would have been ideal!Revision —-I originally gave the seller 4 stars, but I'm going to change it to 5 stars due to how well-informed and helpful they were.I then found the incorrect phone number was printed on the tag. Uneasy, I sent Sean another email. Within a few hours, he apologized for the typo and promised to give me a replacement tag the same day. I had said that I like the bone design. In order to adjust my order from Red Paw to Red Bone, I emailed Sean.He soon replies and tells me that although he had already prepared my order, he decided to include both the Red Bones and Red Paw designs as a result of my problems. I can now utilize one of them as a fallback.I've been an online shopper for more than ten years, and I've never encountered a more ethical vendor.Yes, it took me a few weeks to get the correct order, but mistakes happen to everyone. Be warned that there is no tracking because the company simply mails these in a standard business envelope with first-class postage. Mine arrived later than predicted by Amazon.When they did show up, all of my hopes were realized. The engraving is true engraving and is simple to read (not silkscreened or printed on). It is not engraved with a drill or an electric pencil. Instead, it has laser engraving, similar to that on the back of an iPhone. As a result, it has a better contrast and is simpler to see because the engraving is white rather than silver. Additionally, because the engraving is thinner than when using a cutter, it could rub off more quickly. The aluminum is expertly manufactured and anodized to perfection. Even with other tags rubbing against them, I anticipate that these ID tags will last for a very long time. It makes financial sense to purchase several at once to have them on hand for the price that they are. They are a terrific value and far less expensive than the ones at pet stores.

We relocated, therefore I got a new tag *** UPDATED REVIEW ***. They now provide a slotted tag option, so cutting the tag is no longer necessary. Good quality and quick dispatch. New home or new dog, I'll place another order!Since my Lab already has an orange Rogz Utility Extra Large 1-Inch Reflective Lumberjack Dog Collar, I almost didn't buy this tag. These tags' aesthetic appeals to me greatly. The sound of dog tags rattling on a collar drives me crazy. Especially in the middle of the night when the dog discovers a pleasant place to scratch behind his ear. It is robust metal, just as the reviews have claimed. So, let me tell you how I made it work. I cut the loops apart with a cutoff disc (a hack saw and a vice will also work), then smoothed them out with a file. I gently tapped the tag back together with a hammer after separating them a little and inserting the collar. Excellent! So don't be scared to get the tag if you have access to a cut off or hacksaw. Hope this was useful. The new tag has made me very delighted!
