The value of these pads is excellent. They are lovely and thick and effectively cover up offensive scents. They are, as indicated, 28" x 34" and are sold in packs of 40. Despite the fact that they are extremely absorbent and never leave any "leakage," some moisture will always escape (we can't blame the sellers for this; nothing is 100% absorbent), so we had to place the pads inside a waterproof kenell that we had purchased in order to prevent any spills from occurring on the floor. Overall, a quality product that we will keep using.

Let me start by saying that my experience is somewhat... extensive. I've fostered animals for a nearby animal shelter for many years. I frequently keep a few dogs or pups, three or four cats, and a few rabbits (because, well, why not?). Additionally, my resident 6 year old beagle mix puts up with my mayhem. Every one to two weeks, a new foster pet is often housed at my home. Having said that, I've used these pads on a wide range of dogs over the years that were various sizes, breeds, and ages. I might be able to clarify the efficiency of these pee pads!My experience has shown that pups and small dogs under 10 lbs. DON'T LEAK from these pads. After your pet uses his indoor toilet, take out the used pad and replace it. The urine and feces would leak whenever I left the soiled pad out for too long or let a foster child use the same pad again. However, other pads are incredibly expensive—even those from a large grocery chain and, more specifically, those from a pet store like PetSmart or Petco! Additionally, those pads leak when used again by dogs and puppies weighing 10 pounds or less or when they are allowed to be left dirty on the floor. You will have a difficult time finding a training pad that won't leak at some point for dogs and puppies that weigh more than 10 lbs.So what should a responsible pet owner do if they are unable to quickly remove a soiled pad or if they have the good fortune to care for a large breed puppy or an older rescue dog that hasn't yet been housebroken? You can save money in these circumstances by restricting the use of the restroom to tiled or laminate flooring. fantastic stuffI've read conflicting opinions, so allow me to clarify. For those who object when it drips and puddles on the floor... Use a plastic tray instead of a blue pad because it absorbs less fast. But because it takes longer to absorb, it can roll off onto the floor once it does (30 seconds or so). At that point, it gels up and leaves the surface layer dry. The plastic puppy pad tray that we use can damage some types of carpeting. Again, if you leave that hanging on the floor over the tray, your floor will get wet because the sheets are larger than the tray.Once it soaks in, you can hardly tell where it was wet, so there won't be a visible yellow mark. There is an odor, but the item is a paper/plastic pad rather than an air freshener. LOL, but I believe it does a better job of containing odors than the blue pads, which simply remain soggy. The first two boxes of a different brand we used with the black/charcoal system worked perfectly, but then they altered the padding? and they disintegrated. We tested the GLAD training pads, and they function just like the previous ones did. These are being shipped automatically after a few purchases we've made...Utilize the plastic tray to save your floor; it works as intended.
