I purchased this to add to my diesel trucks for the winter.used it throughout the summer. I discovered that the fuel usage of my box truck, which I bought back in 2008, has always been capped at 10 mpg. I filled the 30 gallons of space in the tank with a third of a container of this substance. I increased my mileage from 10 mpg to 11.5 mpg when I double-checked my usage and calculated actual miles/gallons consumed rather than relying on a pointless "lie-o-meter" on the dash. The only injector cleaner that actually cleans injectors is Diesel Purge. I've driven many diesel automobiles with this product for about 500,000 miles. You must be aware that it is designed to be poured straight to the gasoline tank rather than the injection system at full strength. The simplest way, in my opinion and the opinion of many other Diesel Purge users, is to apply it when you replace your fuel filter. A VW TDI filter is filled using a 500ml bottle.When installed, the new fuel filter will be completely empty. Simply pour Diesel Purge into the filter or filter canister, then connect it as usual. Drive hard for another 10-15 minutes after letting the car idle for three to five minutes. Black smoke that you may see is really soot and carbon being broken up and expelled by the exhaust. It runs like new after being used in a TDI with 365,000 miles on the odometer yesterday.

My vehicle is a 2011 Audi S5 with a 4.2 V8. I am quite familiar with this car, and I can tell when it isn't operating just by the way it feels, accelerates, shifts, etc. For gasoline purification, I frequently utilize Techron and have been pleased with their services. I purchased this after reading a recommendation on the vehicle forum Audizine, and I'm really happy with it. First of all, this winter it has become increasingly evident that the car has a wonky start-up when chilly (usually below 40 degrees). The winter blend of gasoline does not seem to agree with my automobile, but it is what it is. I filled up a virtually empty tank with the entire bottle (about 15-16 gallon tank) The following morning, the car started right up, maintained a smooth idle for a minute, and then slowed back down without any obvious misfires. I have the car's spark plug replacement on my to-do list since I know it needs to be done, but the non-heated garage and 30 degree temperatures make it less than ideal. Hard accelerations were a little harder after the car reached operating temperature, and I stopped seeing misfires in the higher power range that the car used to. Take it for what it is, but those who have left poor reviews either have other pressing concerns or are simply out of touch with their cars. On a related point, I recently drove to Nashville (approximately 600 miles), and the first fill up was with Techron, while the second fill up was with standard gas with no additives. The fuel economy was lower at the second fill up by 1.3 to 1.5 miles per gallon. identical driving circumstances (with stretches reaching a high of 85 degrees and a little stop-and-go traffic, all with the AC running at full blast)

When I experienced injector stiction in my 2006 Powerstroke, I decided it was worth a shot and purchased Archoil AR9100 around two years ago. Although I was hesitant to use this product because I was changing my oil, I decided to give it a shot. I use Motorcraft stock filters and 5W-40 Rotella T6. I drove the truck around for approximately 20 miles after adding the bottle of Archoil, and astonishingly, I did notice the truck running smoother and the stiction starting to disappear. after driving to and from work for a few days over a distance of around 50 miles. Anyone who has encountered stiction is familiar with the sound it makes and the way it makes the truck feel, and Archoil literally eradicated the stiction from the injectors, which led to a significant improvement in my start-ups. As it travels through the high pressure oil pump to ignite these injectors, the oil on a 6.0 is ravished. Your engine and injectors will last longer when you use Archoil, factory filters, and top grade oil. I do this after every oil change, and my friends have followed suit after noticing the improvements.Regarding the fuel treatment, I purchased this kit since I was so incredibly pleased with the oil additive Archoil that I decided to give this a try. I now choose fuel for my truck very carefully; I tend to stick with popular gas stations and typically fill up at Shell or ConocoPhillips. Every tank also gets Stanadyne running. I use this additive with Stanadyne because it just needs a tiny amount to produce the best results and fuel economy in my experience.I don't have a problem with water, and I don't let fuel sit for very long, so I can't say that this has had a significant affect on my truck.Hope this was useful.

This item is outstanding in every way.In one way, the description is deceptive. I received two cartons, each containing four 1/2 gallon bottles. When I first ordered this, I thought I would get one gallon, but I actually received four full gallons. For me, that is a victory.My purchase was initially intended to serve as the foundation for a funnel to introduce blue juice to my BMW 328d (2014 model). With the bottom chopped off, the bottles serve as funnels and work well to fill the advertisement blue tank. To prevent a mess, the tops contain a positive stop for flow control. Worth it even if there was just 1 gallon. This is a really decent value for the four gallons and the bottles.

For the past five years, I have used Power Service Diesel Kleen additive in my 2006 F350 Powerstroke diesel. To that product, my truck has always responded well. I thought, "Why not" after hearing all the hoopla around Hotshots Extreme. Please believe me when I say that after using 16 ounces of this stuff in a brand-new, full tank, my injectors began to quiet before I had driven two miles. You could scarcely hear my injectors AT ALL by the time I had traveled 10 miles! The Diesel Kleen stuff has never worked that well on my truck. Since using this Hotshots is only advised every 6,000 miles, I may continue to treat my fuel with Diesel Kleen when I fill up frequently. My powerstroke was as raucous as they are known to be. The situation has changed, though! The subsequent launches were noticeably simpler and quicker. Anyone looking to prolong the life and improve the happiness of their diesel rig should definitely consider this product.

In no way am I a motorhead. My 2012 F350 SuperDuty King Ranch spends the most of the time in the driveway because I work from home. The vehicle is primarily for hauling my RV in the spring, summer, and fall. This secondhand car with 31,000 miles is the first diesel I've ever owned. I believe it would be foolish to not add a stabilizer or cleaner to the fuel, especially during the winter when I only fill up once or twice a month. Before I started using EDT, I can state that I experienced more exhaust burns, as I believe they are referred to. These days, I seldom ever do. Prior to utilizing this treatment, I believe I saw once every other week. It occurs now every several months. I usually use a stabilizer when I fill the gas tanks for my lawnmower, generator, snow blower, etc. and have very infrequently experienced fuel quality issues. I see it as affordable insurance.

Because I don't enjoy interacting with strange individuals, I order this stuff online. I don't really care if it is cheaper in stores or not. I would rather avoid having to converse with anyone at the gas station or car parts store. This appears to be the top-of-the-line synthetic cow poop for trucks that need DEF, made from the finest pure-bred Holstein heifers and blended with mountain spring water. Since I've been using this brand for five years, the vehicle has never experienced any technical problems, even though I'm not sure if it does anything other than make the exhaust smell worse. I purchased the two-pack, and as promised, I got two 2.5-gallon jugs. Refilling the tank is made simple by the supplied spout, and I then discard it together with the DEF jug, which is contained in a cardboard box inside the Amazon box. I'm not sure how DEF improves the environment. I guess I'm not as smart as the EPA staff, though. Who came up with the idea that injecting water and urine extract into an exhaust and processing it through an SCT and/or DPF would prevent the Earth from receiving unburned fuel? Amazing forethought. Viva la government!
