Just before it ended in 2017, I was able to take advantage of the Toyota program to have the driver-side visor on my 2010 Camry replaced. Finally, the passenger side failed. I considered all of my alternatives, including genuine OEM Toyota parts (at various high prices online). Then, after comparing the available choices on Amazon, you decided on this one because of the favorable ratings. It resembles the OEM as closely as possible. Less fuzzy fabric, but it's unlikely to be noticed without close inspection. The DIYer who is unfamiliar with automobile trim might find the instructions a little bit more illuminating. Before inserting the visor bracket into the roof, make sure the oval trim cover is unfastened because it really spreads the metal clips for a secure hold.If the design problem that led to the OEM hinge failing is fixed by these aftermarket visors remains to be seen. This is a great option for an OBD2 Scan Tool that works well with many different apps. I promptly downloaded EOBD-Facile, BlueDriver, FIXD, OBDLink, Car Scanner, and OBD JScan to my iPhone 6 after receiving the device (next-day shipping thanks to Amazon Prime). I've just used Car Scanner extensively so far, but I believe any of the other programs would function just fine. If you need to download the suggested app quickly, just scan the QR code on the brochure that comes with it.The OBD2 data port is found under the steering wheel in each of my three vehicles. To find it at first, you probably need to get on your knees and search carefully. Make sure to install the WiFi interface in the proper orientation because it will be a "D" connector (it will only go on one way). Simply plug it in to begin the installation process; at this point, the Scan Tool should glow with a single red LED. Next, either start the engine or, if you're only verifying DTC codes, simply turn the key to "on." Then, all you have to do is join the WiFi network that the Scan Tool has created (give it 15 seconds or so to fully connect). Its identifier is WiFi OBDII. To link the app to the Scan Tool, click the relevant button on the app. You might need to choose your car's brand and model the first time you do this. My car's windshield is quite sharply angled. The visor that comes with the automobile as a result is relatively small, measuring only 4.5" broad. These add-on visors don't have brackets that are small enough to fit the visor in the automobile. So, based on its rings, I chose this one and made a straightforward adjustment. Six little screws held on the sliding portion of the bracket, which I was able to remove. see image of portion that was removed. The bracket holding the visors was then given Velcro, and I secured the other side of the Velcro to the underside of the visor of the car. See image. This adjustment not only made the visor usable for me, but it also brought it closer to the visor of the car. This visor truly makes a difference. The third image was captured facing west into the fading light. The view to the right of the visor is depicted on the right side of the image, while the view through the visor is shown on the left. The reflection in that picture was caused by the phone's camera and was not genuinely there. I'll include a picture of the yellow night visor once I have one. It clarifies the view while equally as efficiently reducing glare from street and car lights. If the hinge had been a little stronger, I would have awarded this five stars.I also want to address a misrepresentation that was made in another review. According to the reviewer, the merchant included a promise to give a free item in exchange for a favorable rating. That is untrue. There was, in fact, a card enclosed that offered a free present in exchange for an honest assessment, good or poor. It seems like a thoughtful gesture.

I had something like this a long time ago. It was useful and made due. Sunglasses are essential for me since I get headaches, but I don't always carry them with me. It beautifully obstructed the headlights and made everything clear! I'm loving this polarized visor so much! It is a little bit longer than the previous one I had, which meant it covered more of the visor on my Toyota Matrix when I was driving. It was simple to put on and would just move with the visor or flip up toward the windshield if I were to suddenly yank my head forward. It flips up with a straightforward hand motion. I asked on Facebook if it would extend low enough for someone my height (4'9"), and while I got several responses, just one of them was accurate. Therefore, for those of you who are shorter than average, it can be adjusted to fit your height by pressing down while moving it forward on the part that binds the screw connector to the lens. When you have attached the lens to your car visor and want to turn it so the curve faces you, you need to loosen the screw around the ball joint a few twists, pop out the ball joint, spin the lens so the curve faces you, and then screw it back in. It requires some maneuvering but eventually pops back in. After installing on the car visor, tighten the screw around the ball joint. I discover that the lens is the ideal match for me. I had been having trouble with other glasses since they never fit low enough, and as anyone who is short is aware, if you raise your seat higher, your legs won't be able to reach the pedals. I live in an area where the sun shines intensely, so this product is a sight and life saver. It is wide, long, and now low enough to hide me from the sun.

This is the stuff of dreams! Highly advised for anyone who must operate a vehicle. Driving in the direction of the strong sun is exceedingly uncomfortable and perhaps dangerous. Before using it, I wasn't sure if this sun visor was a decent purchase. The visor's adjustment to my OEM sun shade was incredibly simple and quick. There is no need to adopt the practice of seeing exclusively via the windshield or through the visor because visibility is excellent and encompasses all common angles.
