Campbell Check Valve Quiet CLR1.5 by Brady MfrPartNo 0823-15C, White Review:

The plumbing component that one may possibly enjoy is this one. We recently relocated to a home that just so happens to have been constructed in a region with a high water table, just barely below the basement slab. The only area to put a bed is conveniently under the master bedroom, where the sump pump is also situated. 2,000 times a day on average, the sump pump activates. As a result, every night as I laid in bed, I would hear vroooooooom....THUD....vroooooooom....THUD....vroooooooom....THUD. So, unless I was drunk, practically every night of sleep was ruined. I was getting so frustrated that I thought I might go insane. She now despises the words "Sump Pump" and slaps me whenever I hear them because I grumbled about it so much... till now!! I wasn't getting the sleep I needed and was cranky as usual causing my wife to dang near hate me.To get rid of the dreaded "thud," I've tried a number of check valves over the years, but none of them were really effective. They were all created in the same manner and, unsurprisingly, produced the same outcome—a THUD. The design of this check valve is considerably better. A style that, in my opinion, ought to be practically required! The installation just took 15 minutes, however you'll need cement

Zoeller 30-0181 PVC Plastic Check Valve, 1-1/2 Inch Review:

I had two sump pumps, each of which used a distinct check valve, and both of which had unique issues. First, my primary pump had a spring and ball that, as far as I could tell, operated normally for a few weeks before failing, causing water to siphon back into the sump pit whenever the pump failed. I took it out and gave it a once-over to make sure everything was working properly, but when I installed it again, the same issue reappeared. I decided to give the Zoeller a shot, and I've been extremely pleased with the results. The check on my backup pump operated similarly to the Zoeller's, but it was fitted into the pump's outlet flange. Although it stopped the backflow, a loud "water hammer" effect that occasionally appeared to be capable of harming the PVC pipes was then produced. When the second Zoeller was installed about a foot above the sump pit, the issue was immediately resolved. Both have been operating flawlessly almost constantly for several weeks after being installed in Ohio's wettest February on record. They are simple to install and will be simple to take apart to see if any issues develop, but I don't expect any. I'm completely satisfied and would buy them again without hesitation!

Control Devices Brass Ball Check Valve, 1/4" NPT Female x NPT Male Review:

I wanted to design a high pressure propane manifold that was particularly secure. To prevent this, I installed these check valves at each NPT manifold elbow and tee side. The pigtails already have flow control and check valves in the head at the OPD connection at the cylinder. However, if the pigtail hose ruptures, any other cylinders connected to the manifold will drain away. These valves are made of thick brass and are probably pressure-rated at 700 psig, the same as 1/4-inch schedule 40 pipe (high side propane pressure is unlikely to exceed 200 psig on a really hot day). They can be opened with very little pressure (just blow into them), and they flow very quickly in the flow direction. Even if the soft seat malfunctions, the safety ball is seated against the solid brass end and cannot blow out. They are perfect for use in long-term outdoor use because there are no outside seams or 0-rings that could fail.

BBT 1/4" 6mm PVDF Ozone resistance one-way check valve, plastic water stops check valve, plastic micro diaphragm check valve Review:

For a windshield washer pump I placed on a Canam Spyder, I needed an anti back flow. When the heat index is above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, it should spray on me rather than the windshield. A brief blast greatly improves my comfort level and helps to chill me off. To prevent water stains on the bike, I run distilled water through the system.

Valterra 200-C15W PVC Swing (No Spring) Check Valve, Clear, 1-1/2" Slip Review:

I changed my pool's backflow valve. Had the exact same model for more than ten years before it eventually began to leak back. This has been in my pool for about 6 months and is still in excellent working condition. Nearly transparent, but I can see the flapper inside and confirm that it is operating as intended. Its clarity makes it possible to notice if something enters it, preventing the lid from shutting all the way.It is considerably more affordable to buy it this way than to acquire it from your neighborhood pool supply shop.Just make sure you top it up after installation for it to function properly.

Wayne Pumps 66005-Wyn Check Valve, Pvc Review:

This check valve was recently put on a brand-new Wayne sump pump. Installation is really straightforward. 1.25 inch pipe was used. Simply use the two included clamps and flip the rubber boot connector over. Since installation, it has rained for two consecutive days, so it has been running a lot. It has probably completed 60–70 cycles, so the longevity stakes are still relatively low. This installation is fresh. When we first moved into the house 27 years ago, there was an outdated stand pump in place. We'll see how long this one lasts. The check valve is quiet and currently prevents any backflow. 3 days after ordering, it arrived. No problems.

Control Devices Brass Ball Check Valve, 1/4" NPT Male Review:

Perfect for my 40 gallon auxiliary tank's fill port on the air compressor, I needed it. To serve as a backup remote tank for my 4 hp air compressor, I constructed a remote aux air tank out of an old gas water heater tank. It was necessary to create a fill port and to equip the tank with a regulator, dryer, oilier, safety valve, tank gauge, regulator gauge, dump valve, and tank gauge. I was filling with a little manual valve, which quickly became a pain to remember to open and close. I wanted to be able to turn off the aux tank as well so that it wouldn't bleed back through the leaking original tank on the compressor because my old original tank on the compressor leaks. I therefore decided to swap out the manual fill valve for this check valve. Works really well and filled the 40 gal. aux tank quickly enough. It took me around 5 minutes to fill it from 0 to 110 psi, which is sufficient for me. appears to be holding up OK for the time being. looks to have been well-made.

Valterra 200-20W PVC Swing (No Spring) Check Valve, White, 2" Slip Review:

Purchased this as a one-way valve for my sprinkler pump, which draws water from a nearby lake, and it performs flawlessly. I have a filter-equipped float on the end of my pvc pipe in the lake after the valve.
