Purchased one to serve as the front entryway's "coat closet" in our sizable but awkwardly configured apartment. To increase storage, we installed an additional shelf, and we equipped two of the shelves with containers for items like hats, gloves, sunglasses, sunblock, etc. Boots and shoes are stored on the bottom several shelves. Then, to hang coats and jackets on, we attached a DecoBros chrome coat rack to one of the sides. On one end, two extra coat hooks were hung for hanging bags, purses, and scarves.We went back to Amazon and purchased a different item to serve as a makeshift pantry in the kitchen. Once more, we added a shelf for more storage. I really adore this shelf. Even though it is quite robust and durable, the chrome finish makes it attractive enough to use in a bedroom.I purchased this to go with my clothing rack, which I really adore, and they go wonderfully together. This is strong enough to support a great deal of weight, it can be disassembled and put back together with ease (which I have done before and it was just as simple to do the second time), and it is polished and lovely enough to be on show in the bedroom. I keep meaning to acquire some fabric bins to put in here because it's simple to locate all kinds of containers that fit in to this shelf exactly, and the shelves are the ideal size. Tools, bulky jewelry-making gear, numerous blankets, boxes of yarn and fabric, all of my trousers, pajamas, and towels (of which I have many!) have been stored on the shelves. Winter clothing, extra blankets, and other goods that are not in use are ideal for keeping on top of the shelf. You can either keep bins there or cover it with fabric if you're concerned that the top will be made of the same type of wire. Nothing has ever gotten stuck in the wire mesh, not a delicate garment, tights, countless balls of yarn, etc. It still looks just as wonderful as the day I acquired it two years ago thanks to the gorgeous and sparkling chrome!You can see that it currently has bins full of fabric, clothing, blankets, and other items if you look at the images. This unit took me, a 63-year-old woman, about 45 minutes to assemble; the other two went together much more quickly. This item is highly durable, portable, and holds the specified weight limit. The plastic clips that encircle each corner pole of the shelf unit and glide down until they are snugly in place baffled me. The shelves are so secure that there is no way for them to topple. I grabbed a piece of cardboard, placed it on top of each corner of each shelf, then tapped the shelf down to ensure a snug fit after lowering the shelves into the plastic clips. I would repurchase this wonderful storage unit.

I was searching for a rack for my personal kitchen. I frequently prepare a wide variety of foods for large gatherings. Since I used to work in commercial kitchens, I've missed having a rack and need a means to set things away to cool. This is a fantastic solution. My vertical footprint is now quite limited, but I have a lot of "counter space." Even though the construction instructions didn't precisely match the actual pieces, it wasn't too difficult to figure out. Overall, I'm happy with my buy.

Positives: It is well-made and strong. Although I'm not a trained chef, I have worked in restaurants, and this seems to be on par with what I've seen in commercial kitchens in terms of quality.- Simple to install - The wall anchors and screws are of good quality and function satisfactorily.- was shipped in good condition and was obviously a brand-new item.Cons: - Some of the machined edges were *very* sharp when they arrived, notably the slanted front-facing ones on the supports. I knew that if I left them the way they were, I would soon start bleeding because I'm not always careful while reaching for items. They were considerably safer after spending a short while rounding them with a $6 medium-grade metal file. Mine had a small amount of surface discolouration and plastic backing residue on some of the metal pieces. However, it was quickly removed with a scrubbing pad and some Barkeep's Friend.

The instructions advised to attach the bracket first, then enter the concrete wall anchor, but I found it was best to attach the anchors loosely to the bracket first, then insert all three of them into the drilled holes. In this manner, there was no danger of the anchors slipping into the holes and disappearing forever.

If you have ever assembled anything from IKEA before, this will be a piece of cake for you because it is so simple to put together. Don't require any additional personnel or equipment. I set it up, unboxed it, and cleaned up in about an hour. Pay attention to the up-down direction of the plastic clips and metal bars during assembly to avoid frustration. I built each shelf to a 16-inch height uniformity.I was quite anxious and disappointed when I first saw the plastic clips holding the shelves up. However, now that I've seen how they're being utilized, I have no worries about the plastic components breaking in any manner. The black electrostatic paint finish is OUTSTANDING and has an AMAZING look and feel!I advise getting some wall straps and silicone shelf liners to go with it.

The shelf was in good shape when it was taken out of the box—it had no dents, scratches, or markings. Unfortunately, the components needed to attach this self to a wall are not included. Not a major deal; fortunately, I had some fitting screws.It was a little difficult to attach the shelf to the wall. It was simple to mount the metal brace; just level it and screw it into the wall. However, it took some manual labour to slide the shelf over the bracing.The shelf appears exactly as I had anticipated. In my home workshop, I use it to house a variety of tools, and it works great for that.

Although the packaging could be a little bit better, unlike some other reviewers, mine arrived undamaged and with only a few tiny scratches. Still, at the price, it's hard to beat. But be cautious of the bracket mounting studs. They will break off if you try to adjust them more than a tiny bit. Sadly, it's in keeping with the beast's character (lighter gauge metal means shallower welds).
