The aroma was very potent when I first opened the package, but it immediately subsided and is now much milder. Definitely not for those who have a scent sensitivity. These fit in the food waste can approximately as well as the grocery bags we've been using, although they are a tad thicker. They must function properly. I don't have to be concerned about holes in the bottom, which is a significant advantage over shopping bags! Additionally, a lot of areas are moving away from plastic, and retailers no longer carry plastic grocery bags (we do use our canvas shopping bags whenever possible....)The lack of handles and the only thing that baffled me about it earned it four stars. Also, how do you connect the four flaps? There must be a technique to it as there are no instructions on the package! These Hefty bags lack the handles that I prefer on supermarket bags for tying and carrying.Will I purchase them again? At this stage, it's difficult to say because it depends on my ability to tie the four flaps.

I required a very sturdy sack to handle the about 4-foot-tall grass and weeds. Due to my inability to care for my yard and a damp spring, growing simply escaped me. I had multiple mounds of grass, weeds, sticks, and filthy roots after 3 days of chopping. Our yard trash must be recycled, but the bags that must be used are paper and do not stay together. Perfect are these Hefty extremely robust bags. They are sturdy, prevent sticks from poking through the plastic, and the knot may be tied such that the tails can be wrapped around the top of the bag to ensure a secure hold that prevents the bag from separating. The fact that this is an extra large box and the price was excellent for a lower income budget is really good. To help keep any leaves or lawn products that need to be removed, I'd advise using this product.

2mm thick, 55 gal. I was looking for an alternative to the Brute construction brand bags that I often purchase for $12 for 17 bags (or.70 each bag). These cost approximately $22/50 ($.44/bag). With the Brute, I rake and bag damp leaves, acorns, small twigs, yard detritus, etc., until I can no longer lift the bag. I also use these in my small shop, mainly for cooking supplies, nails, screws, and other small pieces of wood. I was astonished that they could support the weight of the yard trash up to halfway; nevertheless, when these pierce, they frequently start to tear. They rarely rip or tear, in contrast to the Bruce, which can puncture. I simply double bag it when I rake leaves or do other yard work three to four times a year. No problems with using the shop. These are a terrific substitute for the price, and I will start buying them going forward.

These Hefty tiny garbage bags are a great deal!They are quite strong and have a great appearance. They are useless, and I recently purchased some of the same size at the dollar store. Therefore, it is better to spend money wisely and purchase items for under $3 rather than saving a dollar.

I needed some bigger garbage bags for two different uses. 1) Rather than purchasing plastic sheets and taping them over the objects, I wanted an extra-large garbage bag to wrap a few things that were being transferred into the attic. 2) Some big garbage bags can come in handy for a remodeling project to reduce the amount of bags we had to haul off.These bags are excellent for both uses. Since the plastic film is so thick, the bags do not easily puncture. It doesn't follow that you can't pierce them (you can).Will I suggest them? Your needs will determine the response. Yes, these will work well if you want to pack a lot of bulky, light stuff. To avoid overloading any one bag to the point that it becomes difficult to move, it might be just as good—if not better—to get a smaller size bag and utilize multiple of them if you have many heavier items.

The grippy top and the unscented material were the reasons I chose to purchase these bags. So frequently, bags that are advertised as being odorless really smell bad! However, these do not smell strongly and do remain in place around a typical 13-gallon kitchen garbage can lid. I recently relocated with my family from a nice urban neighborhood to a nice rural area. We are more accustomed to the enormous trash cans the city provides, which are picked up by the trash truck and dumped into the truck. The trash cans are being picked up and dumped into the truck by a man who is hanging off the rear of the vehicle nearby. In no way do I blame him. I'd find a way to make it easier if I had to pick up hundreds of garbage cans every day. Because he only took the large trash bags we put in the can, he didn't take the small items we put in our trash can. We can put the small pieces of trash in the trash can and still have it collected, so I ordered these liners to place in our 35 gallon trash can. The tabs along the top edge that assist you tie up the bag are one thing I wish they had. Overall, it was a terrific purchase that will aid these city folk in adjusting.

I only had a full handle on the first one I took out of the box. The handle of the red ribbon just pulled free. The bag's quality is average, but the ribbon handle's is subpar.They are less priced than the well-known national brands, but the quality suffers as a result. I was in a giving mood today, so I gave a 4 instead of a 3.
