This works well for eyeballing pressures between 15 and 30 PSI or monitoring pressures between 2 and 15.Two warnings you should be aware of:1. This gauge reads 0-30 PSI, not 0-100 PSI as the product image would have you believe (at least as of February 8, 2012). If you go to the manufacturer's website (Hobart Welders, [..]) and look up the product code 770127, you can verify this. see my photo as well. I'm not deducting any stars because of this because it's not the product's fault.2. Only the PSI range of 1 to 15 has tick marks spaced 1 PSI apart. There is absolutely no tick mark between 15 and 30 PSI (again see my picture). I'm okay with this because the only device I require a 1 PSI resolution for is my DIY propane burner, which runs at about 10 PSI regularly. To have tick marks for the complete range would be nicer, though. subtracting one star.

Yep. This gauge satisfied all of my requirements. Finding a standalone 600PSI gauge is challenging. I must be aware of the safe carbonation pressure for soda and seltzer bottles in order to do my line of work. You can find the goods I sell that are used to carbonate liquids in regular soda bottles by searching Amazon for "FiZZ GiZ." Before pressurizing bottles, it is crucial to understand their operating pressure rating from the manufacturer. These details are scarce from the manufacturers. You don't think so? Try requesting the operating pressure rating for any of their bottles from Coke, Pepsi, or Dr. Pepper/Snapple. This practice of purposeful silence is not exclusive to "Big Soda." No matter how big or small, it will be very impossible to gain this information from a soda/seltzer bottler or bottle manufacturer. I'm particularly curious about glass bottles. Many of my clients want to use my FiZZ GiZ carbonation instruments (such as the FiZZ GiZ-II Soda Rope Home Carbonation Kit and the Soda Stick) to carbonate their homemade beverages in glass bottles. Here on Amazon, both are for sale. Knowing that a glass bottle has been tested to 400 PSI without bursting makes me feel considerably safer while applying 100 PSI of pressure to it. EDIT.....GREAT. First shipment encountered problems, most likely because of USPS. The replacement arrived without incident, quickly, and in wonderful condition. END...The case latches are almost completely broken off, the molded case was open, two of the adapters were in the bag, and the gauges appear to be in working order but are a little uneasy due to the fact that they are liquid-filled and have various air bubbles in them as well as a lot of moisture behind them. If this weren't the case, I would be ecstatic. The real bummer is that I had ordered these for a work I was planning to do the day after I returned to the business, which is tomorrow. If we can work this out, I'd be pleased to update this review.

I'm seeking for a gas test gauge with no leaks and consistent readings, respectively.Although this isn't a wish list, a twist-open blow-off valve would be wonderful to have.Anyhow, I had high hopes for this Honeywell product, and they weren't entirely unmet.The brass body is sturdy and neatly threaded to fit snugly onto a 3/4 inch nipple. There is no possibility of leakage because the gauge is epoxy-intact. Once the gauge has stabilized after the initial fill, it remains fixed until there is system leakage, which can be quickly found thanks to the 0.5 PSI increments on the dial face.I have two issues with the organization.In particular, the gauge is substantial. It swings against the wall when installed onto pipe that is positioned laterally because it is mounted off to the side. The valve and gauge positions should be switched for more practicality.The gauge's reading being 4 to 6 percent low is not crucial, but it is nonetheless unacceptable. My two digital gauges read 26.1 and 26.5 PSI at the 25 PSI stated on this dial, respectively, and those devices both generally represent what my car's sensors show. This isn't very significant for the task at hand. On a dial face that claims to offer half-pound precision, that mistake is challenging to ignore.But it doesn't matter; if your gas line has a leak, this gauge will let you know, and there is very little possibility that it will result in site loss on its own. Similar to this, if your gas line is airtight, it will provide you with a steady reading for days on end (but it won't be correct).
