I ordered a deflector for our prior car. The double-sided tape on that one kept it in place. The self-tapping machine screws used to secure this one pleased me. The Frontier differs in that it contains plastic anchors that secure a rubber seal. The required four anchors could be removed without much difficulty. Additionally, aligning and fastening the first screw was not difficult. With the exception of the time I dropped a screw and it went through a piece of the metal shield under the front end, the subsequent ones were even simpler than the first. Finding it and removing it were difficult tasks. I would advise setting something down to catch any dropped components because there are no additional included. Make use of my knowledge to save time by not having to look for dropped components.The accompanying silicone "Bump On" buttons are the other item. They are essentially useless. Since they are too small to reach the deflector when it is mounted, they appear to have no purpose. The deflector and the top of the bump are separated by an inch or so. The bumpers on the prior deflector were big enough to span the space. The little bumpers may not be an issue, though, as it does not appear that the deflector is in risk of vibrating or coming off, thus I did not reduce the stars.

Since it's been love bug season in central Florida for the past three months, I've had this on, and I think I've got it figured out. It's odd to me that there is a "sweet spot" for speed where essentially no bugs contact the windshield. The bugs fly right over the roof at 42 mph, which is absurd, but between 40 mph and 46 to 48 mph, they go at a constant speed. Any faster, they just don't make it over the roof. If you're going 70 or 80, they may help a little, but for the most part, you're going to be wiping love bugs off. 50 to 55, some of them hit the windshield. It just took me 10 minutes to install this on a 2012 Tahoe. Another benefit is that there aren't any road debris or rock chips from vehicles on the hood, which is probably worth it. Not awful at all, either

I drive my car for roughly 22 to 25 thousand miles annually, which results in a lot of road rash. I didn't want my 2015 4Runner's hood to get pitted badly like my lower-to-the-ground cars would. When I first purchased the Runner a few years back, I ordered one of these. It required replacement after being damaged by road debris over the weekend. I decided to repurchase this brand.It comes quickly and is packaged quite well. With simply a screwdriver, it installs quickly. both looks and fits fantastic. Nothing unfavorable to say. The previous one endured our 7,000-foot-high UV light, the road, the hail, and other driving hits throughout the two years I had it, all the while maintaining a lovely, even hue and looking good. Installing this reflector is a fantastic idea, and I suggest it.

The deflectors in my house needed to be replaced. I placed a lot of value on their high level of durability. My two dogs explore every vent in search of the one with the most heat. My dogs were continuously encroaching on the heat vent's domain, forcing my previous deflectors out of the way. Even my one dog headbutts or shoves the deflectors out of the way with her head and occasionally with her snout. My previous ones would fracture with every bump. These Frost King deflectors don't work like that. You can tell they are incredibly solid and well crafted as soon as you open the box and feel them. In addition, they have magnets that are of higher and more durable quality than the ones on my previous deflectors. These lack cracks as a result, making them more challenging for my dogs to remove. I heartily endorse these. They exceeded my expectations for durability and are really inexpensive.

Upon arrival, the shipping box was plainly damaged and in bad shape, but thankfully this did not impair the component that had no inside wrapping. With a little headlight polish that I already had, the part's one minor flaw was readily removed. It only took 5 to 10 minutes to install and only required a Phillips head screwdriver. To prevent it from slipping off later, I removed the insignia, and I believe it looks better without it. Already engraved beneath the insignia is a logo. On my 2014 Ram pickup, I have an identical component from this manufacturer, and I've never had any issues. One of them was mounted on a 2018 Toyota 4Runner. If the truck is any indication, it will only offer a small amount of windshield deflection.

I drive a 2018 Silverado Crew Cab. This deflector fit in just right. Some things you ought to be aware of The outer borders are flush with the truck body's exterior. They don't go beyond the body. Four supplied screws and washers are used to attach this deflector to the bottom of the hood. The deflector includes grooves sculpted into it that allow the screw fitting to be moved a few inches to the left or right. Screw into the hood's pre-existing holes. Drilling is not necessary. The sole device required is a Phillips. I've noticed a few reviews where some customers complained that the deflector they received had a damaged or uneven finish, which made them upset. The one I got was flawless. Its installation took me five minutes. I'd repurchase it...

After 17 years of dependable service, I had to retire my old insect deflector. The brittle plastic ultimately broke after one too many passes through the vehicle wash, so I needed to find a replacement. My only complaint is that we are no longer able to purchase deflectors in the color of our vehicles. I eventually gave in and purchased this one, hoping it will be as as durable as my first one. If I could have found one the same color as my truck, I would have rated it five stars. It just lasted a few minutes. I'd advise users to align the shield from side to side rather than from the center. By utilizing the midpoint as a reference point from the underside of the hood, I was able to get mine off by roughly an eighth of an inch. Having said that, there are no significant drawbacks or concerns with this shield.

Using pre-existing holes and the included hardware, it only took a few minutes to install on my Tacoma and requires NO TAPE. They look the same out of the box, but after mounted, they appear to be a slightly different shade depending on the colour of the vehicle itself. I've had these on all of my vehicles. I'm not sure why, but they fit in nicely and really improve the truck's appearance. both repels bugs and safeguards the hood. I seem to remember hearing someone complain about the chrome "AVS" emblem on one end. If you're careful, it's only a sticker and will come right off.

great fashion Bugflector Installation took exactly six minutes. Mine is a little bit off of center, more on the passenger side of the fender, but it's not really obvious until you really pay attention. It appears to provide decent protection, and I was able to get it for less than $50. There is no way to err. I got lucky in some way.

bought for a 2017 Toyota Tacoma after I sustained a significant chip or ding on the edge of my hood. Looks fantastic. The slim profile and extremely accurate fit. The Aeroskin will work to shield the edges of your hood from rock chips but it won't be as effective as other bug deflectors. I wouldn't worry too much about it because it uses double-sided tape to attach to the hood, much like all the other badges and perhaps some body panels on your car or truck. Installing takes roughly 3 minutes. If you ordered the matte Aeroskin and received one that is glossy, be sure you can't peel off the glossy protective film before attempting to return it. This film should be removed after installation.
