Since my guinea pigs' health typically drops quickly once they exhibit symptoms of sickness, I purchased this plus the Oxbow Critical Care in Strawberry Banana Flavor in preparation for any illness. We had to wait for a bacteria culture to be examined in order to put one of my girls on the proper antibiotic for treating her condition, which is likely a recurrent UTI caused in part by having an atypical bladder. She started eating less at this time and appeared depressed. She started to poop after eating less, and I started to worry about GI stasis. To make sure she was eating something, her veterinarian advised beginning her on Critical Care and hand-feeding her vegetables. She was not interested in the Strawberry Banana Critical Care that I tried to feed her. I made a phone call to the veterinarian and inquired about my options. She suggested adding baby food (made of fruit or vegetables) to it to tempt her. She took a nibble of it when I tried it, but she didn't seem as interested as I would have liked. She ate an entire dish of bell peppers, so I knew she had an appetite.She nibbled at the Fine Grind Critical Care until I added some baby food made of vegetables, at which point I opened the bag. She started devouring it quickly. Since then, I've been mixing some in this way and giving it to her in a guinea pig food dish in her cage. The majority of it she'll eat by herself.I think it has helped her continue to eat and take in a healthy amount of nutrients, keeping her from experiencing GI stasis. Even though I continue to provide pellets, a daily portion of fresh vegetables, and unlimited hay in addition to this, I have seen a change in how active she is since I started feeding her this product.Guinea pigs are known for having their health decrease quickly when they are ill, so if you have some, I would highly recommend obtaining some of this to keep on hand in case of illness. It can be helpful to start giving this as soon as you notice any indication of lethargy or less eating until you can be examined by a veterinarian because guinea pigs need to constantly keep their intestines moving and this is packed with nutrients that can help them recover more rapidly. This can also offer your guinea pig an extra boost and possibly speed up or smoother the recuperation process if they recently underwent surgery.

Cystitis/Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease, a stress-related illness, was just identified in our 4-year-old cat. Nothing in our routine or home had changed, so we were baffled as to why he would become abruptly anxious. As a result, we were unsure of what to modify to make him more comfortable. My bunny adores these to the hilt. They are the ideal reward for her after grooming or exercise. To keep them fresh, I placed them in a tiny food container. My bun was beginning to look awful. He was lethargic, had watery eyes, wax-filled ears, constantly having excrement stuck to his fur, and shed excessively. When I read about this product on a website, I was about to take him to the vet since I was so scared. I must admit that my bun significantly improved in a week. To my amazement, this ended up being a pet supply that I never even anticipated needing or even wanting. This is excellent material! The Russian Turtle I possess resides within a 40-gallon fish tank (waterless). I used to "deep clean" her habitat on a weekly basis using bleach that had been diluted and, occasionally, "elbow grease" to scrub off dried excrement from the bottom of her tank. I mainly bought this since it said that it protected against mites and other things that affect the turtle community. I first merely purchased it to give it a try since my regular cleaning procedure appeared to be effective. However, I must add that in my opinion, this has proven to be a product that not only gave a fresh aroma (which NEEDS to disappear before the turtle re-enters the tank), but also gave her tank a sparkling clean while making feces cleaning "much" simpler to remove. This "test drive product" has all of a sudden replaced the bleach solution as my go-to for cleaning out the tank. This product prevents "wide spectrum of bacteria, including salmonella choleraesuis and pseudo. aeruginosa; as well as being a liquid antibacterial cleaner, disinfectant, and deodorizer," in addition to nicely cleaning out the tank.

I won't risk anesthetizing my 15 and a half-year-old Jazz for dental procedures in order to get him to have fresher breath. He still has the majority of his teeth, good or poor as we all do as we get older, but his breath was so unbearably foul that I gave up on trying to buy breath freshening goods. Because of how small his mouth is, brushing was never a possibility. He "loathed" just hated any treatment and most gels were just a peppermint cover up. Solution: If diluted in water, this product. Unbelievable. As God is my witness, I received it on July 1 and added it to his water because it scarcely even has a flavor or smell and he consumes a lot of water. The unknown I touched his gum line with my finger today, 7/2/19, and there was NO SMELL! What a miracle-working item this is. No offensively strong breath odor. Its flora is typical. Whatever this product is, it truly has the fame it claims to have. It does eliminate the bacteria or poisons that cause your dog's bad breath. I'll always be grateful I came across this stuff. This goodie is adored by my bunny! She enjoys the little chunks I cut out of it with scissors (it's a solid seedy treat, but the price was too excellent to pass up). It's been tasted by my mouse and hamster, and they both like it.She loves to eat this even though it isn't as stimulating as scattering hay or seed for her to find.

If your ferret's ears are extremely unclean, it can take multiple cleanings to get them clean. Please take action, though. If a ferret's ears are filthy or blocked with wax, it can seriously impair their comfort, hearing, and balance. Using this and Qtips, I cleaned the ears of a ferret owned by someone I know. The ear canals of that tiny person were completely blocked by wax plugs. Cleaning them required a lot of time and effort, but I was successful. Please handle the Qtips with extreme caution. Only the exterior of the ears should be cleaned. Keep the Qtip out of your ear canal. Instead of Qtips, little cotton balls or cotton pads can help (but probably not as good). If you're hesitant to use Qtips, using cotton is preferable to not cleaning your ears at all. The task of cleansing your ears gets simpler with practice. I groom my ferret's ears on my lap as I do this. It's a little bit simpler when my spouse is available because I can have him scruff as I clean. Although it's challenging, your health and that of your fuzzy are worth the effort. Additionally, if using the Qtips is simply too difficult for you, you can always choose the simpler option and simply follow the instructions on the container, squeezing some into their ears, massaging, and cleaning with cotton. Cleaning in this manner is considerably better than doing nothing at all, although not being as thorough. Ferrets whine about it, but they need their ears cleaned, so find a means to do it and do it at least once a month. Before their monthly baths, I perform it once a month using Qtips. I would advise cleaning your ears twice a month or more frequently if you utilize one of the other techniques using cotton. A fantastic product for strong weasel ears!

The item is excellent! When you add the necessary amount of water, your piggies' water won't turn yellow like it did in one of my photos. This provides guinea pigs with the essential Vitamin C they need. I bought this for my boyfriend's piggies. At first, one of them liked the flavor, but the other wasn't too crazy about it. My boyfriend then cut back on the drops slightly, and now, four months later, they don't mind it at all. We discovered that the flaky feet our guinea pigs were developing were symptoms of insufficient vitamin C intake. As a result, they have lovely, flawless feet and are quite joyful and vivacious. Additionally, they no longer sneeze as frequently! Quite a bit! I strongly advise every piggie owner to have this and to give their small ones vegetables in addition to this in order to supplement their intake of vitamin C.

Very soft powder at a great price, BUT NOT FOR HAMSTERS!About 4 months after I adopted my two dwarf hamsters, they started to lose patches of fur all of a sudden. The veterinarian I took them to believed that their balding was caused by chafing on their wooden tunnel toy, however the balding persisted even after I took the tunnel toy away. I didn't learn until I went back to place more orders and read more reviews. My real hamster bath powder, which has an awful sand-like texture, was purchased, and that very day, the fur on my pets began to grow back!
