As someone who truly enjoys assembling furniture, I have to admit that this bed frame was incredibly enjoyable and simple to assemble. Everything was there, and the instructions were simple to follow. The only thing that was a little annoying was having to completely align the base boards with the side boards' Velcro strips. Last but not least, the strips that are meant to prevent your bed from sliding are useless since as you try to position it, they attach to your mattress. However, because I did this by myself, you might want to leave them if there are two individuals putting the mattress on the bed frame. However, it doesn't really matter.This bed frame is new to me, so I can't speak to its durability or lifespan, but it does have a nice, straightforward appearance.I only awarded the product four stars because of how long it took to arrive at my place, the numerous shipping problems, and the fact that it didn't do so on the day I needed it.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this product because it looks good, is robust, and does a great job of supporting a mattress. Although the quality isn't astounding, it is about what I would have expected from a $250 piece of furniture.What to anticipate when purchasing this item is listed below (and if you like the way it appears, I suggest go for it):It arrives in a huge box (which UPS decided to leave in my back yard next to my trash cans). The headboard is enclosed inside a sizable plastic bag. The headboard's zippered storage pocket is filled with all the parts, instructions, and hardware. If you don't have a lot of room to work with, I suggest doing what I did: carefully cut open the box outside (it's actually double-boxed) and remove the headboard. Bring that inside to the location where you'll put it up. The box should be left outside because it is large and has no further use.It's really hefty, so beware. Undoubtedly, this is a two-person lift, but if necessary, you may remove the sections from inside and carry them in separate trips (the empty headboard is bulky but not too heavy).Before you begin unpacking, make sure you have enough room for assembly; you'll need to stack the parts out of the way so you can set the frame in place.The compact hardware kit includes five screws, a set of spare parts, a hex wrench, and a hex ratchet, making assembly simple (which is a life saver, tightening screws with a ratchet is so very much easier than a normal hex wrench). The instructions are on a single, sizable sheet that is double-sided. There isn't a lot of language, but you really don't need it; the photographs speak for themselves. No additional screws are required; simply loosen them to allow the parts to fit together, and then tighten them down. All other required screws are already threaded into holes on all of the parts. The frame will use the five screws in the part package.The two substantial metal sections that make up the frame are present. They are already unfolded when you receive them; all you need to do is lay the shorter one over the longer one's center (there is a slot for this), forming an extended plus shape. The lengthier portion of the frame goes lengthwise down the middle of the bed. One screw is placed into each of the five holes on the frame's top above the legs, one into each of the frame's arms, and one into the center where the arms cross. The primary function of those screws is to keep the frame from folding. The frame's individual sections don't need any additional assembly because they are incredibly sturdy.The wooden legs are kept in a box; the tops of the legs have screws that fit into the baseboard and headboard's bottoms. Once those are in place, you must remove all of the screws from the headboard, footboard, and four side panels. Give them a quarter- to half-inch of space. After setting the head and foot boards in place, slide the long frame's ends over the screws holding those two pieces together. Now that everything is in place, you may tighten those screws a little bit—not all the way—just enough to prevent any movement. After that, you put each of the side pieces in place and tighten everything down. The ratchet really helps here because it makes tightening things up so much simpler than it would be otherwise.The cross slats are all rolled up and ready to go; all you have to do is stick the first one to the Velcro, pull each one tight, and the Velcro strips will correctly space them.You're finished after you place your mattress on top. The mattress isn't even down in the box at all, as the edges of the bed don't go past the slats. Although it isn't a major deal, I actually prefer beds where it is so it can't slide.Nothing creaks or wobbles, and everything feels really sturdy. My only real complaints are that the fabric isn't particularly soft and that the padding on the headboard isn't particularly thick, but it is enough to make it more comfortable than wood or a wall. Additionally, I don't like the brown-stained wood legs; I think they would have looked better painted black.Overall, I think it's good. I suggest this platform bed if you're seeking for one in this price range and like the way it looks.

I had been looking for a bed frame for a long time, but I was concerned that anything I found online and within my price range wouldn't be a flimsy piece of junk. I chose this one since it has the extra under-bed clearance I required for storage and the slats I needed for my foam mattress. I'm overjoyed with this bed! I think this is the first time I've ever been so happy with an online buy. The instructions were really redundant because assembly was so simple and straightforward. Actually, carrying the 74-lb box up the stairs on my own was the most difficult aspect; otherwise, installation was simple. The fact that it is so strong and sturdy really impresses me. When getting on and off the bed, the frame doesn't move or creak at all, and it supports my foam mattress properly. My old metal frame had a crack in it, causing the bed to droop slightly and giving me back pain, but upgrading to this frame immediately fixed that problem! I had been debating whether or not the high profile was necessary, but I wanted to be sure my under-bed storage drawers would have adequate room. It turns out that I also really like how the high profile looks, so that was a benefit.Anyway, I've had the bed for a few weeks and haven't had any issues; it still feels very strong. If you simply want a functional, straightforward, attractive frame, and especially if you have a foam mattress, I strongly, really suggest this one.

I didn't purchase this from Amazon because I could find it cheaper on the manufacturer's website, but I still wanted to leave a review because there weren't any at the time of my purchase (looks like that has changed since). We've had the bedframe for about two months, and I must admit that for the price, I'm impressed with how robust it is. I was concerned that it might move when I got in and out of bed, but it doesn't. I was concerned that the low quality would force us to return it (remember, there were no reviews at the time to go by). But we haven't encountered any issues.The absence of a box spring causes the bed to be lower to the ground than is typical for this kind of bed. There are roughly 6 inches between the frame and the floor, which provides just enough space for you to slide a plastic under-bed storage tub underneath it, if you so want. The bed was incredibly simple to put together, and I think it looks fantastic (please excuse the poor quality of my images). As we assembled the bed, I rapidly snapped photos with my phone.The only drawback I didn't know about when I ordered is that you have to peel off a strip from the planks before you put the mattress on (again, see photographs). The purpose of this is to secure the mattress. I'm not sure if that would harm the mattress over time or if it will have any bad consequences, but I do wish the frame itself had a lip that held the mattress in place as opposed to these shoddy strips below.November 2017 EDITJust to give you an update, we did exchange mattresses, and while the original mattress did become a little stuck from the sticky strips, it was rather simple to remove. He claimed that the directions were clear and that he believed it could be put together by one person. According to the Amazon listing, the bed weighs 45.7 pounds, thus the package containing it was incredibly hefty.Being a platform bed frame, there is no requirement for a box spring because the bed can be utilized without one. I think the slats are properly spaced to allow the mattress to breathe and to give the mattress ample support.There are 12 inches between the floor and the top of the platform. Our bed is 18 inches tall overall because of our 6 inch mattress. The distance from the floor to the foot of the bed is 6 inches. I keep a few pairs of shoes there.The centre of the bed contains two additional legs or posts. One of the pictures shows one of these. Of course, these posts increase the bed frame's durability. These metal legs or posts have a footprint that is roughly one inch square. These two legs/posts have carpet protection underneath them. There is no issue because the carpet protectors we utilized just slightly increase the height, perhaps by 1/4 inch.I repeatedly banged my shin, so we added a "safe corner cushion" to one of the upper corners. A brown corner cushion that we found looks good. Due to the "route" needed to go around the bed to reach the other side, it was only required on one of the corners.I was a little concerned that I could stubble my toes on the legs, but since they are clearly visible, there hasn't been a problem yet.The mattress is flat against the platform; it is not indented in any way. This is preferable to me because it makes making the bed and putting on the elasticized bottom sheet considerably simpler.We looked around before making this purchase. This frame has the best aesthetics and the best value that we could find. I was drawn to this frame's aesthetics and decided to take a chance on it after reading positive reviews about Zinus Modern Studio 10" platform bed frame. I anticipated the taller frame would be more suited for storage as I lived in a small flat. The delivery was a day sooner than anticipated, and the package contained all of the necessary pieces in excellent shape. My spouse and I spent less than twenty minutes easily assembling the frame. Another benefit for us is that it can be disassembled quickly if you need to move it. The wooden slats of the frame are hidden once the mattress is centered on it, and it looks extremely nice. The top and bottom frame bars take away roughly two inches of room, so a large 14-inch suitcase that can squeeze a little works but an actual 14-inch plastic bin won't fit! You can store anything that is 12 inches tall or less below. I've been happy with the purchase, especially considering the price, and the frame is quite solid and quiet.A side note: Some reviewers noted the bed frame bending over time when discussing the Zinus Modern Studio 10 Inch Platforma Low Profile Bed Frame / Mattress Foundation / Boxspring Optional / Wood slat support, Queen. This frame has really pleased us.Purchased this as a sort of stopgap measure before leaving our flat and purchasing a home. The build quality, fit, and finish weren't something I had very high expectations for, but I figured it would be good enough to survive a year or two. For about $260, how wonderful can a king-size frame be, right?Actually, it's pretty fantastic.I was immediately struck by the box's weight. Because the metal parts are so sturdy and the wood panels are a reasonable size and thickness (yes, they are real wood), it weighs a lot more than I had anticipated. The frame's design and the way it screws together appear to be well thought out, and I was able to put it together by myself in about a half-hour. It wasn't hard for me to do it myself, but it would have been faster with some assistance. Since it may be disassembled in a few larger sections rather than the entire bed due to the way it is made, transferring it should be simple and easy. The number of stages is rather low, and the assembly instructions are fairly clear.Once put together, the bed feels quite substantial, has no wobbling, and doesn't produce any creaking noises. In case you were wondering, vigorous action does not result in the headboard slamming into the wall.Another benefit, in my opinion, is that the footboard does not rise nearly as far as it does in the pictures when you have a thick enough mattress. Our mattress from Tuft and Needle has a memory foam top and is roughly level with the footboard. Since I don't really like high footboards, I consider that to be a victory.So, since we received a bed frame that was far better than we anticipated, we doubt that we will be looking to replace it anytime soon. Let me begin by mentioning that we bought this frame due of its metal construction. We frequently relocate as a military family, so we need furniture that can withstand our everyday use and many relocation. I needed something strong yet also simple to disassemble and reassemble. It is this bed frame! By myself, assembly took around an hour. For something that looks this good, is this simple to put together, and is as well built, the pricing is astounding. There isn't much more you could ask for. Our previous bedframe did not survive even a year, so I am very hesitant to buy furniture online. However, I am pleasantly surprised by how solid this frame is. Based on some reviews, I am concerned about squeaking, but I'll update my review if that does start happening. Everything was covered in plastic to prevent dents or dings during packaging, and the bed frame was doubly boxed and properly protected. The construction instructions included clear illustrations and numerous reminders that any mistakes would make the center piece too short. Each component was assigned a number, and you put it together by attaching the central support after sections 1 through 8. My mattress is 10 inches long and reaches the headboard's bottom bar directly. You may possibly put a lot of items underneath since there is a ton of room and only the central support. This is something I would buy once more and suggest to friends.

I must admit that I was on the fence about buying this item. However, after reading through all the reviews, I decided to go ahead and do it. I received the bedframe today, two days sooner than I had anticipated. Moreover, the shipment had a few dings (to be expected given that it had to travel a long distance from the mainland to Hawaii), but it wasn't as huge or hefty as I had anticipated. Nonetheless, I started to work and moved my mattress and box spring higher. It took me 45 minutes to put together because I was working alone and the kids were distracting me. To be clear, the color I received is called "stone" and it is a queen; it is not a tab nor a light grey breast, but rather something in the middle. I was concerned about it since I was making an online purchase, but I really enjoy the color. Everything was quite straightforward to put together, and the material is good with no rips. Even though it doesn't require one, I think the head board would be a touch too high if I didn't have the box spring. Only a skewdriver is really required; all the pieces were present.
