No, all fireplace screens are not the same size. The size of the fireplace screen will depend on the size of the fireplace.
If you have a glass fireplace screen, you may be wondering if it is safe. The answer is yes, glass fireplace screens are safe to use. They are made of tempered glass, which means that it is heat resistant and will not shatter if it gets too hot.
If your fireplace is starting to look a little dated, you may be considering replacing the screen. While this is possible, it's important to keep a few things in mind. First, the new screen will likely be a different size than the old one. This means that you'll need to either find a screen that's the same size or make some adjustments to the opening. Second, the new screen may not be compatible with the existing hardware. This means that you may need to replace the entire screen assembly. Finally, if you're replacing a glass screen, you'll need to be careful
Fireplace screens can help reduce heat loss from a fire by as much as 90%. By creating a barrier between the fire and the room, the screens help to keep the heat in the room and prevent it from escaping up the chimney.

Majestic & VC Pilot Assembly NG
Original HHT Pilot Assembly
$234
It was obvious that my 42" Magestic natural gas fireplace required a new thermopile. The main burner proved difficult to start from the switch, but the pilot remained lit. A thermopile opens the valve to the main burner by producing a tiny amount of electricity from the heat of the pilot, however this wasn't happening frequently and eventually not at all. I couldn't confirm if the thermopile was actually broken because I didn't have a multimeter that could measure voltages below one volt. Nevertheless, I persisted and bought the pilot assembly, which also had electrodes for the piezo and a thermocouple for the pilot in addition to a thermopile. I believed a replacement electrode wouldn't hurt since the piezo wasn't sparking.First off, this is not the straightforward job I anticipated. I figured I would just replace the major components near to the burner. But you can't separate the electrodes from the tubes and cables! Consequently, the complete assembly needs to be changed!Almost everything above the main pan, including the logs and main burner, must be removed in order to replace the entire assembly. To run the tubes and wires to the valve, you must also have access below the main pan. The trim pieces and glass doors need to be taken out for this. Nothing about this has directions.Once you gain access, the task is made easier, but you must be alert because you can't see very far underneath the main pan. It will be more challenging to find the precise location to install the new tubes and wires if you remove all of them from the valve at once. It's not difficult to connect all of the parts to the valve, however I had to find a female, insulated connector, strip a wire, and attach it because one electrical connector did not fit. Additionally, the connection between the piezo wire and the valve was not immediately apparent, but it may be made by merely inserting the cable into a hole in the piezo's back.It is a good idea to test the assembly before reassembling everything so that you can fix any mistakes. Fortunately, the issue was resolved by my setup the first time. The installation fixed every issue with my fireplace: The pilot burns better on a lower setting, the burner almost always ignites from the switch almost instantly, and the piezo now functions. It's almost like my fireplace is brand new.In conclusion, the majority of householders cannot do this task. With no directions, this project is difficult. If you're not very handy, you might start the project but give up halfway through and hire a technician, or you might never do it at all.

We used to like spending Friday nights listening to music while sitting in front of a fire in front of a fireplace, but that routine was eventually discontinued due to the waste of wood and insufficient heat. We set up some wood stoves, sat in front of the ancient Blaze King in the photos, and got warm while avoiding popping embers that would literally pop a few feet from the burner. Since the door of the stove is sloping and there is little to stop it, the embers are caused by dirt, bark, and/or moisture on the logs. When they pop, we can exhaust ourselves attempting to pick them up and place them inside the burner. Since hard wood is somewhat uncommon in this region, fir of some kind is the only wood of choice. As a result, there is frequently some tar that will also burst. The cats landing on us was more of a problem than the floor. I constructed a little cover for the aperture, but it was challenging to remove and became quite warm. Of course, we could remedy the issue by shutting the stove door, but then there wouldn't be a fire to enjoy. I found this piece when shopping for some material for the fireplace screen. What a difference it made, and every issue was resolved. Now that the footrest is raised, I can sit without fear of burning myself and only need to get up to light a log. This screen is beautifully constructed, the ideal size for our stove, and despite being situated so near to the heat source, it never became too hot to handle with bare hands. Good screen mesh makes it difficult to detect that there is anything between you and the fire once you become used to it. This screen is well worth 5-stars for our application because it has received no complaints and is seated without being disturbed by flying embers.

My original review is updated below: The fireplace screen I have from Amagabeli still looks fantastic. I'm upgrading my review since when I bought it, I didn't think about how simple it would be to clean. My slate fireplace hearth, where the screen is currently located, still appears dusty five minutes after I've cleaned it. But the color and polish of this fireplace screen ensure that it never seems dusty. When I do clean it, I can bring it out to the patio with ease and give it a gentle scrub with a dustpan brush. The screen is so strong and beautifully made that it can be repaired in a matter of minutes. I'm very happy I bought this screen.Initially published in January 2016: The quality of this screen blew me away. It is substantial but not too heavy to move with ease. The height of the mesh-covered section is 22.75 inches, and the highest point of the top portion with the leaf design is 6.5 inches, making it the ideal size for my fireplace. The main screen is 26 inches wide, while the side panels are each 12 inches wide. It was more difficult to pull up and relocate my old fireplace screen since mesh extended all the way to the top. With this screen, moving the top piece is simple with a single hand. Although the product description refers to it as old silver, the product name refers to it as black. Although it seems more black to me, the dark silver finish is visible when the sun shines on it, especially when the leaves are illuminated. The scroll work and leaf design were well-done and well constructed. I'm happy I bought it because it's better quality and cheaper than screens I saw in budget stores. The merchant also made a great impression on me. I got an email from Amagabeli on the day the screen was supposed to be delivered requesting me to confirm that I had the screen in good condition and to let them know if I wasn't happy. This degree of customer service was much appreciated.

I bought this traditional fireguard for my buddy as a gift because his daughter is starting to crawl, and I adore it. She would be kept far from the fire and transported to a secure location. Additionally, if you want to use it to maintain the safety of your pets, it would be a fantastic idea. In addition, I believe it is really handy to combine the four components into any size you desire because it is composed of four parts.

This metal mesh curtain is a top-notch creation. It is really well built, feels solid, hangs well, and is sold for a fair price. This was something I bought to spruce up a fake fireplace and somewhat hide the electric logs so they wouldn't look so phony. Because I used a cheap sash curtain rod to hold it in place, installation was straightforward:Graber 5/16-Inch Swivel End Sash Curtain Rods (White with Nickel Ends, 21 to 38-Inch Adjustable Width)A sash rod has adequate strength to sustain the screen's substantial weight, but more crucially, its diameter is small enough to accommodate the curtain's tiny hanger loops. The mounting clamps that came with the rod were thrown away. Just within the gap, I fastened two tiny cup hooks underneath the front lip of the mantel and let the rod rest there. Perfect! Everything is simple to modify and fiddle with.Important: Make careful to measure precisely, taking into mind the precise rod location. The curtain should hang loosely and not touch or drag at the bottom. To ensure a precise fit, it is best to measure your required height before making a purchase.CAUTION: If you're using the screen on a real fireplace with a real fire, DO NOT use this approach. Instead, invest a little more money and purchase the appropriate hanging system made for usage inside your extremely hot fireplace:Fireplace Curtain Rod KIT, 32-to-58-Inch Long, Uniflame, C-6800

To keep my 1-year-old away from the fireplace, I purchased this fireplace gate. We previously utilized a baby gate, but I wanted something prettier. The end is here! I adore the gate's style and how traditional it feels. The fact that the color is more copper than bronze bothers me. Compared to the gold, it has a reddish tint. I don't mind it too much, but I do object when an item is sold to me with an inaccurate description. As for it serving as a baby gate, it does an adequate job of keeping him away from the fireplace's inside, but if he is playing close by, he can simply move the gate. Furthermore, I'm not sure how it would fare if the fireplace were truly burning. The material would, in my opinion, heat quite quickly. So please take extra caution around babies and this gate!

After adding a new log to the fire, my husband frequently forgets to close the chain curtain. The wood occasionally burst, leaving burn stains on my carpet where the little ashes fell. That's no longer the case now that I've installed this fireplace screen. The errant bits are effectively confined, preventing wood from bursting. It also appears to be of decent quality and is very durable. In my opinion, it looks fantastic in my living room.

We purchased this screen a few months ago, and when it arrived, we knew we would adore it because of all the positive reviews and the way it appeared. Here is why we gave it 4 stars after using it for a month:The PLUSES:1. This screen is substantial. Some screens are so thin that you worry that they'll melt in the heat. but not this one. It is VERY HEAVY and SOLID.2 It definitely does fit the area. When the fire is gone, the glass doors will keep any chilly air out (DO NOT CLOSE THE GLASS DOORS WHILE THE FIRE IS STILL GOING).4. It is fashionable and sleek. Almost any decor would work with it.5. The screen closes so that there are no openings that could allow embers to shoot out. price was excellent.CONS1. There is nothing to really grip onto in order to open the screen, which becomes really hot. There is a little, roughly 1-inch metal tab that serves as the "handle," in my opinion. But it looks largely ineffective. Have your fireplace tools close at reach. You'll require them.2.** A log may fall onto your floor if it strikes a screen, which is easily opened. The screen doesn't have a locking mechanism. I think that is a failure.3. For a weekend fixer like me, installation is not that simple. You might want to contact some helpful buddies.

In our recently acquired, older home, we recently had work done on the fireplace. In the end, we decided to install a stainless steel cylinder liner down our chimney to stop future harm to the chimney's disintegrating brick liner. As a result, we went from having a huge fireplace opening (into the living room) and a large flue opening (out the top of the chimney) to having a large fireplace opening into our living room and a SMALL flue opening. For proper smoke flow, you should aim for a specific ratio between the entrance into the room and the opening up the chimney. Due to the change in the room-to-flue opening ratio, any smoke from a fire would now choose to enter our living room rather than exit from the top of the chimney as it should. Here we have the HY-C Smoke Guard. The Smoke Guard successfully reduces the size of the fireplace opening into our living room by sending the smoke upward via the chimney rather than out into the room. The Smoke Guard mounts similarly to some shower curtains, holding itself up and in place using tension without the need for attaching hardware. I can validate the complaint made by others that the directions aren't the simplest to understand. Even so, the installation went smoothly. The fireplace opening into our living room is uneven on the sides (from the bricks) and smooth/level at the top, thus while the Guard was put flush to the top of the opening, there were a few minor gaps on the sides due to the bricks' unevenness. Fortunately, the kit includes a tube of silicon paste to fix any bare patches. I've heard other individuals lament that their uneven fireplace openings render it worthless. That wasn't a problem for me.I'm satisfied with the Smoke Guard overall. Pre-Smoke Guard vs. Post-Smoke Guard, the difference in smoke rollback into our living area is NIGHT

To keep the cats out of the fireplace, we required a screen. We wanted one that would be simple to take down and move around, suit with our decor, and be straightforward. This is the ideal one. It was nicely packed and arrived on schedule in excellent shape. It is portable, folds flat when not in use, and has a fantastic appearance.
No, gas fireplaces don't have to have screens. However, many people choose to use screens with their gas fireplaces to help contain any sparks that might come from the fire.
A fireplace screen is a decorative piece that is placed in front of a fireplace. It is usually made of metal or glass and has a design that is both functional and stylish. While some people may not use fireplace screens, they can be beneficial in a number of ways. One reason to use a fireplace screen is to prevent sparks from flying out of the fireplace and onto the floor. This can be a serious safety hazard, especially if there are children or pets in the home. In addition, a fireplace screen can help to keep the room cooler by blocking some of the heat that would
A fireplace is a cozy addition to any home, but is it safe to use one without opening a window? The answer is yes, as long as your fireplace is properly ventilated. A wood-burning fireplace produces carbon monoxide, a colorless and odorless gas that can be deadly. However, as long as your fireplace has a chimney or other means of ventilation, the gas will be able to escape and pose no danger to you or your family. If you have a gas fireplace, it also produces carbon monoxide, but in much smaller amounts. Gas
The size of your fireplace screen should be based on the size of your fireplace opening. If you have a small fireplace, you'll want a small screen. If you have a large fireplace, you'll want a large screen.
If you want to keep your fireplace burning all night, there are a few things you can do. First, build a good fire before you go to bed. This means using dry, seasoned wood and letting the flames get nice and high. Then, before you go to sleep, add another log to the fire. This will help keep the fire going through the night. Finally, make sure the damper is open before you go to bed. This will allow air to flow into the fireplace, keeping the fire burning.
If you have a fireplace in your home, you know that one of the biggest challenges is keeping the cold air out. Here are a few tips to help you keep the cold air out of your fireplace: 1. Make sure that your fireplace is properly sealed. This will help to prevent cold air from coming in through any cracks or gaps. 2. Use a fireplace insert or glass doors. This will help to create a barrier between the cold air outside and the warm air inside your home. 3. Use a fan. A fan will help to circulate the air
