I was content with the Contigo autoseal-style cup I was using. If left full all day, it kept my coffee hot for 4-6 hours. The temperature would hold for closer to four hours if I only drank, say, half of it. That should be anticipated. It was my favorite cup because it kept my coffee hot and was the only travel mug I have that wouldn't spill. I do have a dozen insulated coffee mugs, but none of them are spill-proof enough to throw in a suitcase or place on the leather seat of my Lexus.The Contigo cup did become quite badly dented in the side when I dropped it shortly after buying it, but it still worked just fine. The plastic threads of the lid's cover fractured and could no longer maintain a seal after about six months, and it began to leak after another drop. I started looking for a new travel mug once more. I do my own coffee roasting, and I have high standards for the coffee I drink. I've actually spent hundreds on espresso and coffee gear. It would be regarded as a dependency. Naturally, I prefer to indulge in my obsession frequently and hotly. It kind of makes me think of my wife! Similarly, if you make either of these addictions less enjoyable for me, I become agitated. It goes without saying that the cup needed to be replaced right away.I thus visit Amazon, find the Contigo Autoseal, and add it to my shopping cart. I'll have it in a few days, prime baby. So I head over to Amazon and, in a similar vein, buy a Zojirushi thermal pitcher, which was also a fantastic product. I was therefore drawn to the Zojirushi SM-SA48-BA Stainless Steel Mug. Wow, 1100 reviews, all with five stars. That doesn't happen very frequently. $26 is a lot when compared to the Contigo's $15, I guess. Simply placing both orders.To say that this tiny gem has impressed me would be an understatement. I didn't like the design when I initially looked at it on Amazon. The flip-top lid appears to be a pia. When I was used to the Contigo, I would simply press the button to take a drink rather than always having to flip. A few reviewers also said they accidentally hit the lid of their nose. Even though I truly didn't believe I would, I decided to give it a shot. I've included a picture of a Coke can with the two cups so you can compare the two goods. The Contigo feels large even if my hands are on the smaller side for male hands. similar to picking up a drink can as opposed to a two-liter bottle of soda. In your hands, the Coke can is more at ease. Even if this is overstated, it accurately captures how you will feel when contrasting the two. Simply put, the Zojirush feels better in your hand. It is cozy to hold while you are calm. The Contigo required more effort to hold than the 2 liter bottle did.When it comes to quickly transferring coffee from the mug into your mouth, the Contigo triumphs. If, like me, you appreciate the taste and pleasure of drinking coffee. The how the cup feels in your tongue and how the coffee tastes as you take your first slurping, air-infused sip. A well warmed open ceramic or porcelain cup is the ideal setting for this encounter. Every other form is a compromise if not that. The Zojirushi excels in this situation since it most closely resembles a porcelain cup.

The concerns about "Fake Yeti" cups alarmed me. Although they used to be, I don't believe any of these are currently created in Texas, which is why there are cautions regarding imitations. The entire Yeti product line is available at my neighborhood ACE Hardware. According to several of these warnings, I checked a lot of those, and they were all flagged as "Fake." Simply to get the lovely aqua-blue color with the useful sliding cover, which my ACE does not have, I chose to get from Amazon. The color is lovely, and the sliding cover is almost leakproof, albeit not quite. For my needs, which include putting the cover in the truck cup holder, it seals adequately. Screw-on cups made by Yeti are small enough to fit into a backpack. If I ever needed one, I could purchase one at the neighborhood ACE. picture attached. As you can see in my photo, I rinsed the Yeti and removed the cap to allow it to dry and evaporate on the kitchen counter.

I am absolutely thrilled with this mug! I offer a wide variety of Hydroflasks in both hot and cold temperatures. They are all slightly off; the majority are too heavy, the lids are loose, they don't fit in automobile cup holders, etc. My mouth was scorched by their coffee mug (I stopped using it after a second burn). Hot steam is effectively trapped by their innovative "honey comb" lid insulation. Both of their coffee thermoses are not working. They're all currently retired in my kitchen cabinets. Sigh. These days, I just use my 20 oz and my brand-new 14 oz Yeti coffee mugs. My brand-new 14 oz. cup serves its purpose well. Even though the top includes an open space for sipping, the coffee stays delightfully hot for more than an hour without burning my poor tongue! I genuinely adore this mug and strongly suggest it:)

I've experimented with features, flavor, leaking, and ease of use using a variety of pricey and affordable water bottles in my closet (photo provided).Because it had a straw top and chug, and because I liked some of the reviews, I chose to purchase this one. For two additional family members who wished to try it, I purchased two more.We were happy with the 24oz size and the colors we choose when they arrived. For a week, we cleaned and tested them. Both my family and I adore the chug top.Be careful when sipping hot beverages. Ice keeps liquids cold for a full 24 hours, and there was still some ice in the flask after that time.For myself and the two family members, I purchased another one. One is used only for water, while the other is used for other liquids.If it gets any stains, cleaning it is simple. I scrub mine with a bottle brush after soaking it in hot water, 3/4 cup of distilled white vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of baking soda for 10 minutes. Don't close the container and add the hot water after the vinegar and baking soda have a chance to settle. Rinse and scrub thoroughly.I'm very happy I purchased this one. It's been my possession for a while, and I have no problems. I'm delighted I chose the 24oz. container instead the 16oz.

My 30-ounce Rambler tumbler does an AMAZING job of keeping my cold drinks cold; however, when using the separately purchased Tumbler Lid Spill and Splash Proof with Angled Stainless Steel Straw Silicone Straw Tip, you can only fill the Tumbler less than 3/4 full because otherwise, the liquid will squirt out through the straw, greatly reducing the capacity of your drink (I got drenched the first couple of times I used the Tumbler; fortunately, it was Since I specifically desired the straw option, I presume the same thing would occur when using the Rambler Tumbler's original top, although I can't say for sure. If you don't get dehydrated often, this should work wonderfully for you; however, if you drink water continuously throughout the day like I do, you'll need to replace it quite frequently. Additionally, it does an AMAZING job of keeping moisture off the tumbler's outside.When filled, the Tumbler weighs a lot more than I had anticipated. When it's full, I find it difficult to raise and hold it with one hand, but that's probably because I have some hand arthritis.

Okay, I'm going to give this cup five stars for its low cost, spill-proof lid, durability, and the way it feels in your hand. The remaining Contigo cups earn solid ratings of 4. Many people have commented on why anyone would want a cup that keeps ice all day, and that you are a snob who lives like the Joneses. Here is my brief justification. I spend a lot of time at the lake virtually every day in temperatures above 90 degrees, and I always mix beverages. Using a cup like this allows you to use less ice from your cooler to prepare drinks. When you buy 20 pounds of ice on Friday and Saturday to keep your cooler cold through Sunday night because you're continually pulling ice out to prepare beverages, that adds up to a lot of money when it costs $3 to $4 every 10 pound bag. Just double that by a five-month boating season. You're capable of math! I've tried quite a few of these cups, but I have to admit that Contigo's are my favorites. They cost around $15, which is far less than the cost of a Yeti, plus they have spill-proof lids and an endless capacity for ice. My favorite cups are the 20 ounce ones, and using these has allowed me to significantly reduce my ice costs. I fill the cup with my ice maker, and it keeps the drinks frozen from my cooler all day and maybe into the evening. Since I started using these cups, I've been able to last the entire weekend on just one 20-pound bag of ice rather than three. Additionally, if you get your boat safety tested, it is far preferable to have closed containers rather than beer cans scattered around. Additionally, Contigo glasses keep beer cool and carbonated by being airtight. I adore the Yeti and use it every night by my bed to get cold water. The Yeti was my daughter's Christmas present to me. However, the Yeti mugs are overpriced for any kind of physical activity, and the lid just isn't up to par. You won't regret purchasing one of them if you decide to save your money. All of the Contigo cups are excellent. I prefer a broad neck since it accommodates ice better than a narrow neck, which is problematic when using an ice maker. In addition, the cover wraps around the cup's outside so that you can fill it completely with ice and still put the lid on. I find it surprising that this Contigo cup is the least expensive. Since I demand that each passenger have their drinks in a sealed container, I have one or two of practically every model. Cans of beer are not at all permitted. The cups are fantastic. Cheap, strong, fashionable, stain-resistant, and COLD. Buy 4-5 for the price of one Yeti instead of just one; they make wonderful presents. I have six of this model, but I've lost two lids. I hope my analysis is useful. I don't typically write reviews, but after seeing how much money I've saved using these cups, I feel compelled to do so.

By the time I arrived at my office building, even on a summer day, I had given up on expecting even a "warm" cup of coffee. I was amazed after using this cup for the first time recently. At 6:30 am, I made my travel mug of coffee and drank a little of it as I got ready for work. Leaving on a pleasant 18 degree North East morning, I took a 7 minute stroll across the frozen terrain while carrying the mug in my hand, and then I had a 30 minute commute. I open the lid at around 9:00 am expecting to drink cold or barely warm coffee. Much to my amazement, it was warm—really warm!The mug is beautifully made, and the lid has a wonderful, substantial, "rubbery" feel to it so that drinking from it won't cause you to chip your teeth. It is reasonably simple to clean, doesn't leak, and appears robust.
