Well, as other reviewers have noted, you can iron these back into shape even though they arrive crushed, twisted, and crumpled. However, it took me a solid 25 minutes of effort to combine a steamer and an iron, going over and over, around and around, inside and out, until I was confident that there were no creases and bends left to annoy me. To avoid it, I would have wanted to pay more to have them shipped in a larger box, but life is what it is. I do LOVE them now that they are back in the proper shape—done what's is done. I had purchased several other items made of a different material that was NOT ironable, but I finally gave in to the warping and wrinkling; they will now be donated to Goodwill. They are fantastic since they can nest within one other during the buildup of washing, then easily be detached to sort when it's time to do the laundry because they are somewhat tapered. I bought two of them so that I can sort bright and darks. To keep my makeup, nail polish, and other cosmetics organized, I use them. and it completely changes the game. My life is made so much easier by these incredibly adorable baskets. Although they are made of relatively thin plastic (as would be expected; I didn't expect heavy-duty materials), they appear to be of decent quality. Since it is compressed into a little bag during packaging, this basket is gradually acquiring shape. I use this for the filthy clothes of two adults, and by the end of the week, I have definitely overfilled it. It does look nicer than a plastic basket, which is what I was going for. It is sturdy and roughly the size of a typical laundry basket. I regret not taking into account the fact that a portion of the basket is white and that I use it to store filthy clothes because I anticipate that with time, the white will tan.

My wife and I have long used a multi-compartment roll-away hamper. We chose to just go back to the fundamentals with a freestanding unit after having two units break. Being OCD, I had to purchase three. These containers are large enough to carry all the laundry that will fit in our new front-loading washer and maintain their shape well. Because of their small weight and solid, pleasant handles, moving them isn't a problem. Since we've been using it for a while, I haven't heard any concerns. I'd most definitely recommend it, and if/when they ever wear out, I'd buy it again in a few years.

My three girls have found this to be useful in their room. I'm not saying that that is the solution and that the room is now completely tidy. However, this was simple to assemble, light in weight, and strong enough to withstand the rough use of three young girls and all of their clothing changes. Although this is a little too little to be useful for a family, it would be ideal for a single person or someone living in a college dormitory. The girls' smaller size is preferable to me because it encourages them to keep up with their laundry without taking up a lot of area in their bedrooms. Overall, I think this is well put together, and most importantly, I think it has helped in the never-ending parental struggle to keep the clothes off the floor.

I bought two of the wash bags in black and dark grey. The grey one is a nice size and is standing up by itself without anything inside when I simply pulled it out of the packaging. The unfavorable reviews of some of the things I buy, like this one, always surprise me. All I can conclude about the unfavorable reviews for this laundry basket is that they must have been quite high. My two plastic laundry baskets on wheels, which are so top heavy with the pullout handle that they frequently flip backwards onto the floor, will be replaced by the bags. I'm happy with them. Regarding complaints about the scent, after taking it out of the container, I detected nothing. I did give the laundry bag a whiff to see if there was any odour. Even though the smell resembles stale cigarette smoke, it is actually just the fresh scent of the substance that was packaged in plastic; the scent won't go away until the bag is allowed to air out. Again, it's not the big deal that some are making it out to be. This is the ideal foldable laundry basket if you want one that can store a lot of loads. Order more than one if it isn't big enough for a large household.A week's worth of clothes, including three pairs of jeans, two sweater dresses, tops, comfortable gear, etc., were in my hamper, which I just emptied. With some extra room, it all fit in the laundry bag. The bag was lightweight and easy to carry, but it is also heavy, so you don't want a bag that is much bigger; you must take into account the weight of carrying anything bigger. This took the place of the hunter green Rubbermaid that I purchased as my first hamper for clothing 40 years ago and moved around a little. It has lived in my current home, where I have lived for about 25 years, behind the door to our bathroom, which is next to our bedroom and which we always leave open. THE solution to our problem! We were thrilled to have a washer and dryer upstairs, close to our bedroom, but we quickly realized there was a HUGE PROBLEM: no place to store any laundry baskets! HELP! Since it has been reported that it is difficult to collapse, I took a chance with this one but was still a little dubious. That is completely untrue; we discovered that turning the laundry basket upside down and setting it on the ground makes it the simplest to collapse. Then, with a light downward squeeze, it will quickly and nearly simply fold. It doesn't take up much space in the closet, where I can put it, so I'm happy about that. Fantastic product!

The fact that this was so sturdy really amazed me! Although it is not as thick as the more expensive ones, this canvas is nevertheless incredibly strong and long-lasting. My son adores the style, and I appreciate that it isn't a fragile or inexpensive item. His room works wonderfully with it. Once you get it set up how you want it to be, it will stay that way. Even after having mine for a month, it still looks precisely how I had it set up. You will need to bend it a little bit when it comes out of the package. It was a tremendous help in getting my child to quit throwing his clothes on the floor, therefore I would highly recommend obtaining one.
