The item was so thick that I initially believed it wouldn't function at all.I discovered there was an outer and an inside pillow case after reading the package's description. One of those hypoallergenic cases with a small zipper that is hidden under the cloth on the inside prevents pricking you as you sleep. According to the directions, filing should be removed to achieve the desired feel. So I simply did that.I took out just enough filler to make the pillow significantly thinner so that I could use it without fear of death. I then gave it a run after zipping up the inner case and the plush outer case.I have to say that after two weeks, THIS IS A GREAT PILLOW! After the first night, I made some adjustments by eliminating a little more filing, and it is now excellent.No matter if I'm lying on my side or my stomach, I have NO neck ache.The shredded memory foam fits to my body precisely and is as comfortable as it gets without being hot or heavy like regular memory foam pillows.With no neck or shoulder ache, I haven't slept this well in years!The only drawback, and I use the word disadvantage very loosely, is that the cushion gets a little heated because of the incredibly plush pillowcase. But it's very well crafted and silky. Eliminating it is a simple way to address it. Additionally, the memory foam that has been torn seems slightly lumpy when you first lay on it. However, this pillow's shredding also appears to prevent it from becoming as warm as other memory foam goods, which is a good thing.In conclusion, this pillow is fantastic and incredibly affordable. Let's clarify a few things, shall we?1) I purchased this pillow on my own; I was not given it or paid to write a review of it. There is no way I would carry out any of that.2) I want everyone to understand exactly what I'm commenting about. The "Sleep Restoration Super Plush Gel-Fiber Filled Pillows" are identical to the "Beckham Hotel" pillows. On the package containing the two pillows, which cost a total of $35, is a small bar-coded sticker with a tiny piece of writing announcing the Beckham Hotel's rebranding.3) There is no odor. There isn't any mold. They were sent in a classy, sealed plastic container bag and were factory-clean when they arrived.4) They show up completely flat. They puff out once you take them out of the bag. They should be ready to use in about an hour. You can immediately go to bed after giving them a little fluff. They don't need to be dried in a dryer, and it might even be harmful. I'm unsure.5) I wanted to be sure I liked the pillows before writing this, so I postponed it for a month. I do!6) Initially, I had some reservations about them since I felt they would be too soft, but after a few nights, I would now describe them as soft but solid enough to properly support my head and neck. I usually begin sleeping on my side, go to my back eventually, and then frequently return to it.7) They are sufficiently hefty to prevent movement, but not as heavy as a (solid) memory foam cushion. In other words, they do not move.8) I bought the queen-sized mattresses. The fact that these are 20 inches broad and a queen-size pillowcase is also 20 inches wide intrigued me somewhat. A pillowcase is flat, but a pillow is actually rather high. This implies that inserting the cushion into the pillowcase involves some effort. HOWEVER, perhaps this gives the cushion a harder appearance than it did in paragraph #6. In any case, it functions and these have been successful for me.9) About four years ago, I woke up in a hotel with neck ache, and I've had it ever since. It just didn't seem to go away after numerous chiropractic interventions, regular neck stretches, medications, etc. I gave up my Tempur-Pedic solid memory foam s-shaped pillow and tried a few others I bought locally. They all returned. I purchased these cushions, kept up my regular neck stretches, and now my neck is pain-free. I started not having neck ache when I woke up approximately a week ago. That's relieving.I'm afraid that's all I have to say to Amazon customers. A pillow purchase presents a plethora of options. I looked on this site for a very long time. Of course, everyone's level of comfort with pillows varies greatly. I can only tell that they were successful for me. I assume you may return them if they don't work out for you, possibly with a postage fee. I'm not sure. Don't expect a King-sized gigantic cushion; instead, expect a modest queen-sized pillow that fits comfortably in a typical queen-sized pillowcase.In addition to the pillow's quality, the packaging also impressed me! (I know, it's weird) Each cushion was sent in an attractive zippered bag that was sealed and carefully coiled into a cylindrical shape. Sincerely, it exceeded my expectations, and if I ever found myself needing to give some pillows as a gift (I have no idea when this might occur...), I would feel great about doing so with these!Yes, there are less expensive pillows available, but sometimes quality is worth the extra cost. These, in my opinion, are fairly priced considering the quality.Overall, I'd advise you to visit a store and choose how hard or soft of a cushion you prefer. Please be patient with me as I have never written a product review before.Since I hurt my back in my early 30s, I've suffered osteo-arthritis. Since then, I've had problems with my mattress, pillow, and sleeping. I've had trouble with my neck for the past year. Vertebrae would occasionally become "stuck" on one another, preventing me from turning my head for extended periods of time and making work, driving, and sleeping difficult. I made the decision I needed a new pillow after the most recent flare-up. I've tried a ton of pillows, most of which are now stacked on the shelf of my bedroom closet and rarely used. I was VERY apprehensive to test the Coop Home Goods collection because I couldn't endure more than five minutes on a My Pillow and because it was so expensive. I eventually came across Coop while researching adjustable memory foam pillows, and I was excited about the idea of being able to take away (or add) loft! I watched every video and read every review, but I was never able to locate the official Coop Home Goods website, even knowing that Amazon would have them. I ultimately chose the typical Eden. It was a gift from my mother for my 50th birthday a few weeks ago (how appropriate), and I've now had it for about three weeks of sleep. Here is my opinion:I'm SO HAPPY I was able to get rid of the foam. I took out two gallon-size freezer bags packed with foam (so far). I continue to fluff and move the filling about to get it exactly where I want it.The pillow is quite cozy. I truly have nothing to compare it to. It's not like a down or feather pillow (although I have occasionally used a combination of the two so I could squish my pillow under my neck). It is not now excessively high or low. In addition, the soft bamboo case that comes with it is excellent. Additionally, you will receive a complimentary water- and mite-proof case (it's free! DO IT!) is also really comfortable, and I no longer fret about damaging the case it arrived in! Gratitude to Coop Home Goods It's quite cozy and cozy. (Comfort rating of five stars.)It's now a little more challenging to explain for help. The simplest way to put it is that I wake up feeling as though my neck is perfectly supported and balanced, depending on how I'm resting (typically on my back). I don't feel like I need to flex my muscles to maintain alignment by holding my head in a particular position. I DO feel like I have sore muscles when I'm on my side, though. I even made an attempt to reposition the foam such that it was thicker where I would use it to support myself when resting on my side. I bought these pillows and got them more than 45 days ago. I held off on writing a review until I had given them a thorough test run. I was experiencing TERRIFYING neck ache. To my husband's annoyance, I have a variety of pillows, including memory foam, beads, and polyester filled pillows. All of these did little to improve my neck. I have trouble falling asleep when I lay on my side because either my head is inclined too high or I am too flat. I decided to give this cushion a try because I remembered how much I enjoyed my childhood down pillow. My favorite. Like other down pillows, it doesn't become flat. It only takes one scrunch in the morning to restore it to its former shape. It can be customized to fit your sleeping preferences. Under my neck and somewhat downward under my head are the positions that I prefer. The area surrounding my skull is extremely fluffy. The other pillow serves as a kind of short body pillow for me. Additionally, when I sleep, no feathers poke me in the face, neck, or head. Simply put, it's a fantastic pillow. One that was good enough to prompt me to write a review, which is unusual for me. I wish I could emphasize how much the discomfort in my neck has subsided. I just need to improve on my posture right now.
